I have registered bank account but it will only let me use that for withdrawal not deposit ? So I can't actually deposit from coinbase to pro... I have registered my bank account on pro but it says takes upto 3 days not ideal fo a quick purchase.. Thanks

Great video, I've learnt a lot. Not sure if Coinbase desktop has changed much but I don't have the 'Deposit/Withdraw' option nor can I 'Preview Buy', it just says 'Buy Bitcoin'. If I go on the app, all that is there but not on the desktop version which is weird. Thanks for the video!

i just used coinbase for the first time and didnt realize that there was a fee when sending payment to a merchant so i did not send enough bitcoin. will that bitcoin eventually be returned to my account, i cant figure out how to void the transaction and get refunded

I posted a comment about lost money on coinbase. Well, not sure how it happened but coinbase had my info coming into one email and my account set up under another email. When I went into change passwords on my accounts I saw that I had two accounts. Long story short I found my info and crypto there. Caution to users. Wish I had been aware that coinbase was opening in another account under my email. All is good now. I still say that their customer service could be improved, at least by email.
Can you do a video on leverage buying on Binance? I see you have a couple video for beginners on Binance but nothing for leverage trading.

Can someone tell me if Coinbase allows instant access to funds from a sale of crypto? Like do you have to wait 2 or 3 days to have access to the funds to use? Robinhood gives me access to funds to buy other crypto immediate if I sell. Problem is robinhood only has 3 cryptos

I have having trouble understanding the perform on the app. I deposited $300 and invested that money into XRP. Later, I went to my bank account and saw that I did two transactions of $300. Now my portfolio displays around $571, but it does that $300 on the USD. Did Coinbase scam me $300 or did I accidentally make two transactions of $300?
It sounds like you might’ve made 2 transactions of 300. Especially if you have nearly 600 in your portfolio? You should be able to see how that’s split by assets. Do you have 300 in your USD wallet too as well as XRP?

I bought some crypto (small amount worth) last week for the first time using coinbase. Now what? Thanks! =).
It’s up to you, you can hold it for the long term (in which case we’d recommend storing off Coinbase, which is a central exchange and storing it in a wallet somewhere).
You can exchange it for another crypto if you want to diversify a little, or you can usually earn some interest on it either in coinbase earn or elsewhere depending on which crypto you’ve bought.

I haven't really found tutorials specifically answering these beginner questions and since you replied I'd like to pick your brain with them. Other than what you stated, when do I do other things like buy more, trade (is that selling?), do I have to learn when to buy, sell, trade, before doing so? @xviewmytubex no problem, happy to help. Trading is essentially exchanging one asset for another. That could be crypto to crypto (I.e. bitcoin to ethereum) or gbp to bitcoin and vice versa (which is also buying and selling).
I can’t really tell you when to buy and sell, as I don’t do day trading which is when they read the charts and buy and sell quickly hopefully for profit. I personally just buy crypto and hold it for the long term in the hopes it goes up. I’ve never sold mine, just held on tight! Haha..

Holding onto your crypto, is a strategy some investors will use, hoping the value will increase over time. However, the crypto market is pretty volatile, and some people prefer trading to capitalise on price fluctuations.
"Gains" refer to the increase in value of your crypto assets over time. If the price goes up from when you bought it, the difference is your gain, which can be either realised (if you sell) or unrealised (if you hold).
