We are counting down the days! Planning a trip down end of September early October as well. May stay in Surfside for the first time on that trip. I used to be a local grew up in Myrtle from 94-2011 now I live in San Diego. I love watching your videos to see what's new. Have not been back since 2021 where I took my So Cal girl from Orange County, she loved it, but I remember her commenting on how many pancake houses there were from 21st Ave all the way to Murrell s Inlet. 🤣🤣🤣
She is not wrong! There are an insane amount of pancake houses! I still don't understand how they all stay in business I guess people really love pancakes? Hopefully you'll get to visit again soon!

Was there 4/10-4/16, staying at the Wyndham on S Ocean Blvd. At the beginning of our trip, lots of wind and chilly, but much warmer than Cape Cod, MA, even during the mini tropical storm our first full day 4/11. Went house hunting so plan to move as soon as I can make it happen, maybe by end of July... love it there and the entire area.
We are heading to MB April 2024. 🇨🇦 Can't wait, we haven't been for 5 yrs. No kids husband and I like golf and beach, dining and the hospitality of MB. Booked Legends show plus Dolphin Catamaran tour in the first week. Bring on the heat. But I'll take any weather with just a hint of warmth.
The wife and I are going down there around mid May. We are staying at the Breakers. I hope it's a nice place. It was alot more expensive than where we usually stay when we go to Gatlinburg (our go to vacay place).
If you're referring to the spring bike rally the second week in May it depends on which heart of Myrtle Beach you're in. Surfside and Myrtle Inlet and the southern end of Myrtle Beach are quite busy. If you're referring to the Atlantic Beach bike fest over Memorial Day weekend, it is incredibly crowded. Memorial Day weekend is just a busy weekend in general.
We'll have a new video out before May with all the details about the month of May and crowds, but that time shouldn't be terribly crowded. There will be people, but not summer level crowds. Have a great trip!

You might want to look into renting a house if all of you want to stay together. You might be able to get some deals in Surfside Beach or Garden City Beach on a house. Those are both south of Myrtle Beach. You could also look into the northern end of Myrtle Beach, a little past where we stopped filming. Good luck!

I'm from overseas and went to Orlando recently, but now I want to see Myrtle Beach!
It's a lot of fun here but very different than Orlando.

Myrtle Beach is still very popular, but Murrells Inlet is definitely a nice, chill place to stay.
