Thanks for your reassuring review. I bit the bullet (haha) and just ordered a FLP daily battle in blue and one of their wallets to match. I am grateful for my beautiful LV neverfull, it’s been a great useful “mom” bag for me and my family’s needs, but I want to have a great quality bag that looks different than everyone else’s (I’m starting to feel like LV is the dress code for us ladies/femmes) and the adjustable strap sold me. The scales are so pretty. Love you LV, but want to open up my relationship to other bags lol. I don’t use an organizer for my neverfull but was wondering if that is the size that would fit in case I decide to use one with this bag. I wish that it came with a pochette like our NFs, but I did make sure to buy a wallet. I’m anxiously awaiting, wish me luck. Happy Holidays!
Thank you for putting this review together! I have my eye on the fuare le page daily battle and seeing your feedback on the adjustable straps is so nice!
It’s such a great tote and just soft and comfy. I just wish it had a clip. It’s fine for everything except air travel but I have my le pliage and totally mm for that. Have a great weekend! X
Love the FLP Daily Battle. Looks so chic in the grey colour. I really like you can adjust the straps. That's definitely a plus. I have the LV in MM size and the straps really annoy me as they are too short when wearing with a winter coat on the shoulder. Will check out FLP again. Thanks for a great comparison. 💝
A practical and comprehensive review. Great comparison. I am interested in purchasing the FLP for a spring/summer bag. The only possible deal breaker is the lack of a clasp or closure for the same reasons you stated. Would definitely like to see what the wear and tear is for the FLP.
@@beerachael I appreciate the response. I did check out the zip and almost certain that is the one I will purchase. What are your thoughts as far as an organizer for the FLP? I find that It is a must for me with the LV Neverfull.
I am a die hard fan of the neverfull GM. However I really like the adjustable strap on the faure le page and that grey color is just stunning! Maybe if something happens to my neverfull I’ll try it out! Great comparison! 😍😍😍
I have both of these bags and agree with your review. My LV has the Kusama print, I wouldn’t have purchased a standard NF for all of the reasons you mentioned. I’m an art lover so the Kusama spoke to me. I purchased the FLP bag in Paris 4 years ago. It was 700€ at the time and I didn’t pay VAT. I have the darkest color which appears black. I was torn between the one I purchased and the color you have. I prefer the FLP over the LV for comfort and uniqueness. I should have purchased some smaller pieces as well. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.
Great comparison! I hadn't thought about the closure and the zip pocket missing from the FLP. That might be a deal breaker for me as I'm looking for more of a travel bag than a daily bag. I tried to walk away from LV, but it looks like they got me again. 😆🙈 I'm also thinking the raw vachetta is softer than the treated leather on the DE print. So that should solve the shoulder pain?
Hello Lisa! Just wondering if you’ve received your bag yet, and if so, what were the customs/duties you had to pay upon receipt? (I’m in Canada as well and want to order one myself!) TIA!
@@lisathorn5334 thank you! I just got dinged hard on an order from Europe (got charged $200 CAD custom/duties on a $400 CAD purchase!), so now I’m hesitant to make another purchase straight from Europe 😣
@@juju1981 so just got my bag! Got held up by Fed Ex. Duties and taxes were only $166 (I'm in Ontario). TBH, I have no idea how they calculate it. I was blown away with the packaging and the bag is gorgeous 😍. It is a zip top 32 so it has three inner pockets trimmed in the yellow leather. One pocket is shaped like a revolver. I thought it would have the leather pocket similar to the open top. But I am super happy. The quality is outstanding and the zipper is so smooth
@@lisathorn5334 Thanks so much for remembering to let me know! I want the zip 32 as well (saw it on Isabelle Ahn's channel recently: ruclips.net/video/9aq1_h1se0I/видео.html), been eyeing FLP's battle tote for the last year since she first posted about it, but the zip version really got me because of the zipper, those extra pockets, and the revolver pattern on the inside. But I'm torn between the Paris Blue or the maroon-ish one Isabelle purchased in her video. $166 is reasonable (I'm in Ontario as well). I was scared it would be like $500-- it's my birthday this month, so happy birthday to me, I'm buying this! lol So I guess we get to use our new bag while walking around inside our home for the next month lol ughhhhhhh this lockdown >.< Thanks so much again for remembering!
Ugh wanted to love FLP but to have a tote with no zipper pouch and no zipper compartment is a deal breaker for the price. Still love the LV bag except the logo. The gold FLP logo is pretty "in your face" to me too, much prefer the Goyard pattern, which is more subtle.
I suggest you watch some videos on the goyard tote, as you don’t like either of these. The goyard very expensive and the canvas is extremely thin and floppy so doesn’t wear well over time.
@@beerachael agreed for the St Louis tote! But I saw that the Goyard Artois has more structure, a longer handle, and a zipper and I'm strongly leaning towards that one... I actually want a classic minimalist bag but I can't do leather for a number of reasons. I need a bag that can take a beating bc I don't baby my bags.

They are both nice, but I definitely prefer the Daily Battle, due to the adjustable shoulder strap.
Thank you for the video!
I have never liked the strap drop length on the Neverfull. The Faure Le Page looks amazing! I love that you can adjust that strap.

You’re welcome. I highly recommend it, and the colours they make are beautiful
I am totally wanting once of these! Your review convinced me!
Of all the beautiful bags you own, it’s the Faure le Page that I covet. Thank you for the comparison. Best, Jane

It’s not a dealbreaker for me it’s fine for everyday just not on a plane. They now have a zip but only in the smaller size

Thanks for your comment, yes I love the FLP and I’d love a pouch to match. It feels a bit more luxe than the NF in a way, I’m glad I have both x
How is the wear and tear for the FLP. I am interested in purchasing the tote ,
@@jewelnabq01 It holds up really well. I have a darker color, not sure if this is the same for lighter canvases.
@@Livinglikejulie That is something to think about. The one I am looking at is a lighter color for the summer. Thank you for the info.

They now make a daily battle with a zip top but only in the 32 size
I’m obsessed with FLP! What a gorgeous bag x
I wish I can rock a Neverfull but it too dainty for me. I’m seriously looking into the DB 41 for a large open tote that will likely slouch.
This is a very helpful video. Thank you 🙏
Waiting for my FLP Daily Battle zip top 32 in Paris Blue. Had it shipped to Canada and it is almost here. So excited!!!

Lovely art over your bed, lol, side note
It’s faded from the sun, I’m going to have to replace soon. We chose it because it shows the hotel on Central Park south where we spent our honeymoon
They make this bag with a zip top now I think that is awesome.
It does change the shape though, I like a slouchy tote.
Great comparison!
