you should try F1 2020 it is way harder than Gran Turismo when you put it in the professional mode

The mix of live comms and VO works well I think, especially for this kind of race. I was watching Kireth’s stream of this, but fortunately for the sake of content you two had sorta reverse luck in the two races and were nowhere near each other lmao.

Ah I definitely shouldn't have slotted in so close ahead of you in race 1 quali - real eye opener to see it from your angle so I can avoid it in the future!
No worries mate. It didn't necessarily slow me down, just it can be a visual distraction on a quali lap. Pretty happy with how quali turned out anyway. If anything I outperformed myself in that session.
Really enjoying this "dual" commentary style, allows for some in the moment thoughts, as well as some lovely hindsight. Hope to see more of this

Amazing video! I really like the honesty, the showing of the race even if it doesn't go to plan, the fighting, the frustration. It really shows that even top guys can struggle and that struggle makes an interesting video (in my humble opinion)!

27:23 real drivers don't just take the hands of the wheel after finishing a race... they still have to do another lap and join the pits.
So what you did there in a 30 minute race it's actually A LOT harder for a real pilot driving a real car.
Huge respect and Congratulations for keeping your focus in such a difficult race.
I just seen your 200 lap video a few hours ago and I can finally understand how difficult is to drive a car fast for a long time period. Absolutely exhausting. And you used a sim..... I can't even imagine what a real driving session would be like....heat....water....bathroom break....pause..... pilots can't afford this luxury :)

Hi Steve, thanks for a good video on lobby racing in GT Sport. I joined a league last year and am still very much at the bottom in the Amateur 2 lobby in the Danish Racing League (you can find some videos on youtube from some former races). I must say that lobby racing has greatly improved my driving and enjoyment of the game. I was getting destroyed in the Daily Races every week. I am now climbing into C rated daily races and hope to make it up to B soon. There is so much more enjoyment when all drivers have agreed to some basic rules and correct conduct. This last weeks FIA races on the other hand was a complete nightmare just trying to survive the Spanish mafia and general ram-raiding. Thanks for the videos and inspiration.
Excellent rule not being able to overtake with a penalty, doesnt overly punish minor cutting but stops you gaining an advantage. Id also add a rule that if you get a shortcut penalty while overtaking you have to give the place back.

Steve, try to use the handbrake for the standing start. Its better than the normal brake because its faster to release. Its not a gamechanger but it can make a difference.

First race reminded me of me at spa last week. Qualified highly and spent all week defending or trying to run away on lap one 😂 doubled my DR though but was tough on a controller. Definitely took super GT advice and put in the qualy time to escape the lower lobbies 🥇👍

hey Super GT, I had the same problem that GTS was getting stale. I've since switched to Assetto Corsa Competizione and Pcars2. Not every car on Pcars2 is great but the racing is spectacular on good leagues
