@@daviddidas4266 Much of your question depends on you and your diving. I have owned 11 different DC's, used many others. No one is going to argue with you for choosing a Petrel. I purchased the Teric the first week they came out. I then purchased a Petrel a few months later for Tech Diving. When I teach, I take the Teric, just easier in the pool and does not distract the students. All other diving, I take the Petrel. If I had to give one up... I give up the Teric. Why.... Screen Size, ease of use, battery replacement. Petrel uses an AA Battery. I can get one of those, anywhere in the world. Teric does have a brighter screen. As I have gotten older though, the larger screen is better for my eyes. Bouns topic..... Petrel over Peregrine.... Simple. I am a huge supporter of AI. Most Instructors do not teach buoyancy worth a crap these days. Put a big, nice AI DC on a new diver, the diver is able to enjoy the dive more, watch their gas more, and pay attention to their surroundings more. Its win win win. Also, any DC over $500 should have AI as a Standard feature. I tried to keep this short.... I could talk about the why's and why not's for an hour.
Great product
Top pour les roussettes 🎉
Does it handle decompression dives with deco gas up to 100%/99% O2?
Did you ever find out ?
@@Litehamer : No. but I think it does. I have not had the time to research or ask the dive shops.
@@strongestkarate It does have full deco mode and supports 3 gases. Honestly though, If you are diving Deco, you really should be in a Petral or Teric
@@shuntao3475 why do you think, a petrel or a teric would be better?
