I dined here at their Pudu location in April 2024. Luckily, no queue as our party of 7 was sat immediately. This restaurant is next to a pet store, meaning there are caged birds and reptiles literally right next to the guys cooking your clay pot rice. Their clay pot menu is rather limited to chicken, Chinese pork sausage, and a side of salted fish. They do have other small bites such as fried chicken wings, tofu, soup, and stir fried vegetables. I've had clay pot rice in Hong Kong and in Guangzhou, and IMO the Malaysian equivalent has too much dark soy and the the crispy bottom rice is too burnt, almost black. The chicken is cut to fairly large chunks as well. This is good if you're crazy for clay pot rice in Kuala Lumpur but be advised if you're used to clay pot flavors from the Cantonese regions of China/HK you may or may not like the Malaysian style.

Sha-po fan (rice) is a common cooked rice among the Cantonese. It is indeed one of the most wanted, delicious food items among the Cantonese meals 😂🎉❤.

I ate here around 8 years ago and it was literally on the sidewalk. Really good. I dislike KL though. Difficult to get around (that time the trains broke down frequently). Good thing our hotel was within walking distance of Chinatown and that big market. Food was gloorious. Better than SG imo.

You should reach PUDU lrt station. From there 10min walk.
Google map can take you there. You have to choose train symbol at the top. 😇
