dude tysm for talking abt hyperhydrosis i've always been so insecure of it and i can never hold peoples hands/shake hands with anyone and its so annoying💀💀
bro it lowkey makes me so happy she was open about hyperhydrosis, like i have it and it’s fr the most annoying thing ever but hearing other ppl talk ab it makes me feel less bad about it. anyways loved this vid girl, ur stunning on the inside and out!!
tysm for this😭😭 i’m still a growing girl, and nobody in my family has ever taught me anything regarding hygiene other than soap shampoo and lotion LMAOO needed this sm. love you, thank you!!
i’m really happy to see someone else relate! i have hyperhydrosis as well, and i’ve always found it extreme embarrassing and wonder what’s wrong with me. it’s really hard to not think about having my hands sweat all the time. i really wonder if i’ll find someone who doesn’t seem bothered by it. a lot of people get grossed out by it too, so i’m happy to see someone else with amazing body care tips actually understand!
A minute into the vid and she really got to me, Shes so right, none of us were taught anything about hygiene and self-care, yet we are excepted to smell like roses and take care of others. Its a lot. I really appreciate you for making content like this
I love this so much, especially as a teenage girl. The beginning warmed my heart, we're always being told we have to shave and that our body hair is disgusting. This feels like the first review that doesn't mention shaving. Especially being told at a young age to shave as well.
it makes me really happy that someone finally said that we dont grow up with those informations so in our childhood we smell bad and everyone bully us bc you knoe you will be a woman, i remember that someone around me was always saying me you smell so bad but i was in my starting to teenage times and i wasnt know anything and always feeling like why i am like that and hating myself a lot. We dont born with those informations so it really makes me happy that you aid it girl, now it has been years to these moments and i learned how to take care with my hygiene just by myself, they dont give any tips they just bully you, so if you feel the same that i felt a long ago dont be sad ever and never again just start to learn how to take care of your hygiene girlll
"Do it bc you want to put love and care into yourself. " ❤ That is the most lovely and kind thing I've heard in a long time. Thank you for a beautiful (and hilarious) video. 😊💜
My favorite perfume of all time is diptyque fleur de peau. If you like musk scents, GET THIS. Also this is the first time I’ve watched her videos, and I can’t believe how pretty, smart, funny, but also empathetic she is. I’ve also gone through depression where I had dandruff falling off of my hair every breath I took because of stress, and the last note she added in the end of the video would have made me cry if I saw this video while I was still depressed. I love how she doesn’t just straight up shit people for being dirty like some other influencers and is so considerate of other’s people conditions. Loved this!!
Thank you for taking about how body hair isn’t unhygienic!! I hate that narrative ☹️ I love that you add chapters to all of your videos, it’s very helpful💕 I’ve been trying to work on internal help with biotics so thank you for the tips!! My gut health has been shitty as of late 🫣 I love your top btw, it’s very spring-y and elegant 🤭 EDIT- this video made me want to take a fat shower

I skipped to 9:45 because I wanted to hear your hot take and I'm happy to hear that it's a safe and really good one! My only little comment to viewers would be if you're using deo on your intimate parts, don't use the same deo on your armpits or anything since you could move bacteria from your armpits to down there (unless of course you wash your hands before and after using the cream on different spots, which then it's fine). Thank you Alessya for your detailed hygiene video! This is the first video I've seen of yours and I'm impressed! I wish all the best to you in your life and career!
I remember I used to use a loofa and now I use a silicone bristle brush from Amazon because loofas can store the bacteria. I use oil perfume too, ITS SO BOMB❤

THANK YOU! MY LORD AND SAVIOR! This video was so helpful, informative, and just fun to watch. I’m trying to work on being better with my hygiene, and health because I’m recovering from depression, and my health and hygiene was in the dumps and was something I was actually ashamed about. I learned so many new things in this video, some things I just learned to reason for, and there’s so many things I want to try now. I love your positive and supportive attitude, everything you said about shaving and our hoohaa’s I was like that’s my girl right there! No one should ever feel ashamed of their body for any reason, and I will always stand by that.
I love how confident you are you’ve helped me sooo much with my confidence, the way I look at my self. You just make me feel better with your positive attitude!!❤
@@Dorothyyy-3 It doesn't matter, cleansing strips your face of moisture to an extent anyways and rubbing anything on your skin regardless of how soft it feels would be abrasive and harsh on the delicate skin of your face
Those sol de janeiro deodorants are amazing!!!! The smell lasts all day and they are so moisturizing, a lot of “natural” deodorants are dry and they stain my armpits, but these don’t. Great recommendations on this video thank you very much!!!
babe i recommend for your skin that you use a chemical exfoliate like an aha/bha or the one peeling solution mask from the ordinary alsooo lufas collect bacteria and mold so i recommend a silicone body scrubber
Maybe not the ordinary because they aren’t the best quality ingredients. But if you have a great esthetician near you, ask them for aha serums or light chemical peels. They should have something that suits your price point and works 1000x better due to the quality and potency of the active ingredients (licensed esthetician) -and don’t mind my name lol. Made this as a child.
Just wanted to clarify that the appocrine glands, which are the glands responsible of the odor of our sweat are actually directly connected to hair follicules and that's how they assure their secretions. The less follicules, the less the apocrine glands can secrete their odor particules. So shaving but particularly waxing would be your best friend to eliminate odors and not let them stick to your hairs for long.
Oh my god, the way I smiled when you started talking about hyperhidrosis. I have the same thing and really love when people talk about it and normalise it. If you feel comfortable I would love to hear your story and any treatments you’ve been through!
Wonderful video, I love how you express yourself so clearly and with so much grace, and talk about the importance of internal hygiene. Loved that you didn't mention shaving bc it's a personal choice and has nothing to do with hygiene. You really be knowing your stuff miss ma'am 💖 Only thing id add for whoever this could help, is to be mindful of how many fragranced products you're adding in your routine. Fragrance, among other toxic ingredients are huge hormone disruptors. I know we wanna smell good, but it would be wise for us to try to find non-toxic, as natural as possible, versions of these products that we love, bc over time all those synthetic fragrances in each of these products compounds in our bloodstream and can lead to huge health problems. Nothing to panic over just something to look out for and be mindful of. Even "natural" looking products can be misleading and full of fragrance, artificial colors, etc.
Thank you I needed this. I have a hard time taking care of myself. I am a SAHM and I have 4 kids that I take care of and homeschool, so I unintentionally neglect myself, and my husband when he notices a strong smell just has to say, "that's why I shower every day." But it's so difficult for me to even be motivated to take a shower every other day. I know that I need to but its so hard to say go get in the shower.
I had absolutely no motivation to shower and on top of that I was constantly studying for tests due to starting school so late so I smelt like onions and I’m so glad I now have more motivation because I’ve been noticing that to have a glow up you have to have an internal one where you make peace with yourself and this video was perfect for me cause I’m Hispanic and west Asian and I am SO hairy and this just made me feel so good about myself thank you beautiful person.
also, sorry for double commenting, but using a loofa is actually really bad for you!! loofahs have been show to grow staph or strep bacteria, but they can become harbors for other bacteria on your body, including e coli!! alternatives are silicone bath scrubbers or sea sponges 💗
Im 15 and mm mom always answers my questions but this answered questions I didn’t even know i had. I also have hyperhydrosis and its a STRUGGLE my palms sweat like crazy and its embarrassing. My underarms produce much more sweat than the average person and its hard to care for (deodorant would my make me smell really badd instead of good). I recently noticed that i have been sweating around my hooha. I thought i was abt to diee from an infection or something but its normal as long as there are no other symptoms. Normal for everyone, mine is just excessive because of hyperhydrosis. THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO i will be using alll of your tips
As a dentist i want to say please dont brush your gums! The gums clean themselves and brushing them can cause recessions. You have to brush till the very edge of the gums tho, to prevent inflammation
One of my gums are starting to receive but it’s only on certain teeth. I don’t really brush hard! I notice the very edge is clear and when I poke it it hurts! Any advice?
@@maamitaa I am not a dentist but I do get a cleaning every 6 months and always request fluoride to be put on my teeth (it's an extra charge like $40 that my insurance stops covering after a certain age). Flossing keeps the cavities away, too.
@@maamitaa hi, dentistry student here! Most of people don’t realize they brush too hard so it’s really hard to say if that is the cause in your case, but the brushing technique is also extremely important in preventing gum recession. Usually people use sharp, almost scrubbing-like technique where you just move the toothbrush up and down the teeth, but that is not the right technique for every surface - the only place you should do that are the occlusal surfaces of the back teeth. On the buccal and palatal surfaces the best technique is when you place the tooth brush at a 45 degree angle towards the gums and gently sweep the surfaces towards the occlusal surface/incisal edge of the teeth while moving the brush in circular motions. Don’t know if this explanation sounds clear, but you can look up ‘the roll method’ on the internet. Flossing is also a big thing because not doing so you miss about 30% of the tooth’s surfaces. It prevents gum bleeding and cavities between the teeth. And the reason it hurts when you’re poking your teeth in certain places is because the cervices of your teeth are exposed - there is no enamel in these areas so that’s why they’re tender to touch. Also, try using a brush with soft bristles, the ones with medium/hard bristles are more suitable for cleaning dentures - so you can imagine brushing the delicate exposed cervical surfaces with such tough bristles would cause hypersensitivity 😊 I hope that making these slight changes in your oral hygiene will help you solve your problems and if there is a dentist reading this please correct me if I said something wrong! I’m still learning and I’m also not from the US so maybe there are different methods there 😅 wish you all the best!

This video changed my life, I love how you mention to take it one step at a time because all together its very overwhelming ❤
she is literally IT GIRL!!! i find myself laughing at myself while watching your videos but also learning things. she keeps her videos entertaining and not boring. SHE NEEDS A DUCKING AWARD FOR THIS
lol!!! Ducking
dude tysm for talking abt hyperhydrosis i've always been so insecure of it and i can never hold peoples hands/shake hands with anyone and its so annoying💀💀
This is soooo true
Omgggg sameee😭
we in this together LOOL
do you guys have any tips for the hand sweat thing lol...I have heard botox might work but idk
You could have an underactive thyroid. It can make your hands sweat
The way she explains every scents😭🎀 thank you Gurlll🤍
Yesss😭🥹
Fr❤ love it😂
🗣THE QUEEN HAS POSTED!!!!
🗣I REPEAT THE QUEEN HAS POSTED!!!
bro it lowkey makes me so happy she was open about hyperhydrosis, like i have it and it’s fr the most annoying thing ever but hearing other ppl talk ab it makes me feel less bad about it. anyways loved this vid girl, ur stunning on the inside and out!!
She’s pretty WITH a good sense of humor I love that combination
tysm for this😭😭 i’m still a growing girl, and nobody in my family has ever taught me anything regarding hygiene other than soap shampoo and lotion LMAOO needed this sm. love you, thank you!!
the perfume descriptions are how i describe my perfumes, its not a smell it's a feeling.
I love that you don't only talk about the outside hygiene, but also about about the inside - which is as important ❤️
This video randomly popped up on my algorithm, instant follow! "Women are expected to live up to expectations placed upon us" hit hard
i’m really happy to see someone else relate! i have hyperhydrosis as well, and i’ve always found it extreme embarrassing and wonder what’s wrong with me. it’s really hard to not think about having my hands sweat all the time. i really wonder if i’ll find someone who doesn’t seem bothered by it. a lot of people get grossed out by it too, so i’m happy to see someone else with amazing body care tips actually understand!
A minute into the vid and she really got to me, Shes so right, none of us were taught anything about hygiene and self-care, yet we are excepted to smell like roses and take care of others. Its a lot. I really appreciate you for making content like this
I don't have a big sister, only tiny siblings but watching those videos i feel like i'm finally with my long awaited big sis
I love this so much, especially as a teenage girl. The beginning warmed my heart, we're always being told we have to shave and that our body hair is disgusting. This feels like the first review that doesn't mention shaving. Especially being told at a young age to shave as well.
I really like her vibe, vibrant and funny, she has that friendly and bright aura.
it makes me really happy that someone finally said that we dont grow up with those informations so in our childhood we smell bad and everyone bully us bc you knoe you will be a woman, i remember that someone around me was always saying me you smell so bad but i was in my starting to teenage times and i wasnt know anything and always feeling like why i am like that and hating myself a lot.
Hands down, the most accurate, informative, and truthful hygiene video I've ever watched. Thank you.
Loved this!!
the yara perfume is GORGEOUS it smells like if you just made vanilla extract into a perfume 😩😩 basic i know but i love LOVE vanilla type scents
Thank you for taking about how body hair isn’t unhygienic!! I hate that narrative ☹️
I love that you add chapters to all of your videos, it’s very helpful💕
I’ve been trying to work on internal help with biotics so thank you for the tips!! My gut health has been shitty as of late 🫣
I love your top btw, it’s very spring-y and elegant 🤭
EDIT- this video made me want to take a fat shower
Thank you for talking about acne and how people think it's unhygenic. I always felt insecure about my acne but seeing a beautiful person like you telleing me it's okay and i'm pretty with it made me feel so much less insecure. Btw i love your page you make me feel so good
my absolute favorite scent recently is the ZARA nude bouquet. Yes ZARA, the clothing brand. I get stopped when I am out and I always tell people which one it is. love it!
it's a pretty good dupe for miss dior blooming bouquet!
you are actually the definition of a girls girl i love this video you seem like the most down to earth person and not gatekeeping anything!!! it’s so refreshing to see a girl like this and being completely honest i love it💓
You literally always look beautiful. Even when you’re showing skin issues, you still look pretty AF
Girl is back after a month and I'm so happy.
she ain't gatekeeping!!!! SHE THE QUEEN lovelotssssssss
Dyptique’s Do Son perfume is so heavenly and smells like a secret garden after rain. It also comes in a solid perfume version which is amazing.
I remember I used to use a loofa and now I use a silicone bristle brush from Amazon because loofas can store the bacteria. I use oil perfume too, ITS SO BOMB❤
I swear ur videos have helped me soooo much from my skin to my body and etc!! I get more motivated to get up and do my skincare and clean my room❤❤ this is why I’m obsessed with ur vids
Reminder that OCD is more than being obsessive about cleanliness
OCD is serious. If they knew what OCD really is they wouldnt use it to describe anything. Just say very particular or something like that.
literally…i was looking for this comment :/
I was looking for someone who caught that :’)
i hate how it's just used as an adjective
@@PrepperRapperFairyI literally cannot stand it when people use mental health terms as adjectives.😢
never in my life have i ever heard somebody talk about hyperhidrosis and i thought i was the only one who had super sweaty hand, and i have been SO insecure about it ever since ive noticed it, so seeing you talk about it made me feel so much better about it. you are actually so pretty, and thank you for making me feel better in my own body 💗
this video was so informative but tysm for getting straight to the point section by section bc sometimes i get lost when others explain but sugarcoat around the answer.. i truly enjoyed this! + tyu for the product recs
Literally don’t know how I’m just stumbling onto your videos now. You are stunning, so funny and I love all of the products and routines you have. It’s so much fun to pamper yourself and give yourself the loving you deserve! So happy to see videos like this and women like you, real, beautiful and authentic ❤️😊
The way she explained those perfumes … I’m in love
i have hyperhidrosis too ! its so nice to hear other people talk about it, i completely relate to your struggles with it
Okk not a perfume but it's a body mist, I always be getting compliments on it😹 it's called Peach Bellini by bath and body works. The notes are succulent peach, sparkling prosecco, and sweet orange.
i’ve watched a lot of this type of videos but it hit different when u talked abt ur struggle with depression bc now ik if someone else with the same struggle can do it so can i❤
I loveee this vid, a little tip for the deodorant part.. The dove vitamin care deodorant works SO GOOD and its aluminum free
Arabic perfumes are the best , You're getting beauty ❤❤❤.
literally salivating as she's describing some of her perfumes (not to be creepy they just sound delicious)
It was so comforting hearing you talk about hyperhidrosis! My hands are always sweaty and because I got bullied for it, I don't like to shake hands and especially dap people up lol
The best thing that happened to me today was bump into this vid and your channel, bc i've been at the lowestttt on my hygiene routine due to stress, health issues and more. Keep it up girly. 🩷✨️
your videos are such a safe space 🫶🏾💗
that makes me so happyyyy🥰😏
alessya can you make a video on confidence and how to be more social, make friends, etc. !? you make it look so effortless 💕💕
OFC just because you said so🤭
You just make me feel better with your positive attitude!!❤
girl as a esthetician please don’t use a sharp glove to ur face.. it makes it worse! enzymatic peeling is ur friend
Fellow esti here and I second this. Literally gasped 😂😅
came here to say this i GASPED when she rubbed her face omfg
I don’t know if it’s sharp I think it’s just bumpy
@@Dorothyyy-3 It doesn't matter, cleansing strips your face of moisture to an extent anyways and rubbing anything on your skin regardless of how soft it feels would be abrasive and harsh on the delicate skin of your face
@@akinokisetsubabygirl, a soft glove sponge for the face worked for me Rather than only just using products
alessaya you are so gorgeous, i love how real you are, you’ve made me so much more confident! you are the sweetest person ever 💕
the glossie perfume is literally my RIDE OR DIEE it will forever be my fav ❤
Those sol de janeiro deodorants are amazing!!!! The smell lasts all day and they are so moisturizing, a lot of “natural” deodorants are dry and they stain my armpits, but these don’t. Great recommendations on this video thank you very much!!!
babe i recommend for your skin that you use a chemical exfoliate like an aha/bha or the one peeling solution mask from the ordinary alsooo lufas collect bacteria and mold so i recommend a silicone body scrubber
Or make sure to change out the loofa every month. (Licensed esthetician)
Wait girl I'm gonna cry I have the same hyperhydrosis problem it's mainly my hands and armpits 😭😭 thank you twin love ya ✊️🫡
TWINNNN😝
SAME it's so annoying especially in school
@@alessyafarrugia AAAYYYYYYYY 💅😭👯♀️👯♀️
check the reply to alessya comment i've mentioned its solution
Just wanted to clarify that the appocrine glands, which are the glands responsible of the odor of our sweat are actually directly connected to hair follicules and that's how they assure their secretions. The less follicules, the less the apocrine glands can secrete their odor particules. So shaving but particularly waxing would be your best friend to eliminate odors and not let them stick to your hairs for long.
Thank you. Hair actually causes odor
Oh my god, the way I smiled when you started talking about hyperhidrosis. I have the same thing and really love when people talk about it and normalise it. If you feel comfortable I would love to hear your story and any treatments you’ve been through!
u describing perfumes is my spirit animal
LIVING for the perfume scent descriptions
Wonderful video, I love how you express yourself so clearly and with so much grace, and talk about the importance of internal hygiene. Loved that you didn't mention shaving bc it's a personal choice and has nothing to do with hygiene. You really be knowing your stuff miss ma'am 💖
Only thing id add for whoever this could help, is to be mindful of how many fragranced products you're adding in your routine. Even "natural" looking products can be misleading and full of fragrance, artificial colors, etc.
the edit at 17:11 cracked me up, girl i’m so sorry but we love your dedication! great video!
GIRL THANK YOU FOR THIS
That vitamin c scrub is my absolute fave!!
alessya thank u for blessing us with this you queen 🫶🏻
Your videos are my therapy ❤
Thank you I needed this. I have a hard time taking care of myself. I am a SAHM and I have 4 kids that I take care of and homeschool, so I unintentionally neglect myself, and my husband when he notices a strong smell just has to say, "that's why I shower every day." But it's so difficult for me to even be motivated to take a shower every other day. I know that I need to but its so hard to say go get in the shower.
I have never watched you before but I just have to say I was SHOCKED by how pretty you are 😭😭
I had absolutely no motivation to shower and on top of that I was constantly studying for tests due to starting school so late so I smelt like onions and I’m so glad I now have more motivation because I’ve been noticing that to have a glow up you have to have an internal one where you make peace with yourself and this video was perfect for me cause I’m Hispanic and west Asian and I am SO hairy and this just made me feel so good about myself thank you beautiful person.
also, sorry for double commenting, but using a loofa is actually really bad for you!! loofahs have been show to grow staph or strep bacteria, but they can become harbors for other bacteria on your body, including e coli!! alternatives are silicone bath scrubbers or sea sponges 💗
i literally ADORE your descriptions of scents oh my goodness
Im 15 and mm mom always answers my questions but this answered questions I didn’t even know i had. I also have hyperhydrosis and its a STRUGGLE my palms sweat like crazy and its embarrassing. My underarms produce much more sweat than the average person and its hard to care for (deodorant would my make me smell really badd instead of good). I recently noticed that i have been sweating around my hooha. I thought i was abt to diee from an infection or something but its normal as long as there are no other symptoms. Normal for everyone, mine is just excessive because of hyperhydrosis. THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO i will be using alll of your tips
the way you described the perfumes literally was my favorite part
so glad i found this channel, for years I’ve had a mindset thinking that my body hair is gross and I should shave once a week
My dentist tells me to brush my gums.. 😅
