Love the Elkridge. The River Ranch is very nice but so many steps to get in and out. Old folks and pups getting old will be a lot of lugging them up and down the steps to go out. I can see your office and work space in the Elkridge converted bunk room with all that storage above.

Elkridge, I like the layout. I'm not a fan of any floor vents with having a dog. That's my #1 no. Not crazy about how the bathroom door opens...seem like you had to open and go up the stairs. It probably would be better to have a pocket door or the barn door like the bedroom. Color nice and love the window by the door.
We saw that river ranch. Nicebut you're right; the headroom feels like a travel trailer. That would be a long way fall if you had to many cocktrails. Storage is awesome!

Shelves are too high. I believe I would hit my head. Additionally, I agree with the carpet under the washer. The only carpet in our Solitude is in the MB closet which is where the washer/dryer is.
