How To: Replace the Display Assembly on your iPhone 5s

So your new iPhone 5s has a cracked screen. Don't toss it in just yet, because today I'm going to walk you through replacing the display assembly in your iPhone 5S.

when you remove the front facing camera you do not need to remove it from the back cover like in this video as you will be removing the cover and transferring it to you replacement screen, after you remove this you will see a white light filter in a hole you need to remove this and place it on your new screen. if you miss this out you will get very blurry pictures.

i just destroyed this cable which has the front camera in it. new ones i found online didnt have this sticky thing for the backplate ... which is the function of this sticker?

Just be aware that the replacement displays (or at least the one I just got) from iFixit are noticeably more blue-hued than the stock ones, so it's not quite 1:1. That said, it's still much preferable to a new phone!

I replaced my screen, not a ifixit product, and the touch don’t work if the phone is not in my hand, if I use it in the table for example or in a stand. Something like if it needs my hands static to work properly. When it is in the table and charging there is no problem
