Thanks for watching!
The scoring system is not so much designed to reward players for missing because they feel sorry for them. It's designed more to ensure draws, although not impossible, are very rare. More often than not, two evenly matched teams will finish with the same amount of goals, yet still be separated by just a point or two.
So many brilliant players of Italian heritage play this sport.
They're Australian not Italian. Italians don't play the b.s game. They play real football*
The curve line marked on the ground is 50 meters from goal . Some players can kick goals from out side this arch .
The Aussie Rules field is much larger than any comparable football or field sport. Players run somewhere between 12-14 km per game, with some up to 20 km. Yep, they need to be especially fit.
How?!!? 😂
Your enthusiasm is infectious, mate.
Great reaction as usual.
The AFL season is only 5 weeks in, so you've got a chance to watch a big chunk of the season still.
All the best!
Mate! I don't know of any soccer player who runs 10 to 15 km per game - let alone survives the tackles and hits of Aussie Rules.
In AFL the supporters own the clubs. Which is great.
It’s a very old game. Probably partly based on a game played by Native Australians (aboriginal people?) for countless years, called Marngrook. The game was codified in the 1850s or so.
Bon soir!
Hey mate, if you’re impressed by that football/soccer goal, like Ronaldo, you should look at a player name Peter Daicos, his highlights show how he perfected that style and made it popular since the 1980’s and 90’s
There's some pro American footballers who would struggle to finish a 4km time trial. Their level of fitness seems to be more about how many cheeseburgers they can put away in one sitting.
TRUTH!!!😂👍
🤗This was developed in 1889 👍to keep cricket players 🤞fit in the offseason!🏟️Our stadiums have a double use.🌞Cricket in summer,❄️Aussie Rules in winter.💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Try 1857/58
Players can run 20 kms in a game . You need to be fitter in this game than most .
Wow 20 km!!!
Good reaction buddy, you seem genuine :)
