@@meairthat’s what there for though and also registration purposes as well 2 seat vehicles will typically run higher with insurance do to it being a sports car

yes, and that plastic fender garnish helps you reduce aerodynamic turbulence, as well as make it harder for you to slap on a body kit

@The Slick you are wrong :) the wheel cannot potrude outside of the fender. that is why many companies put these fender clips on there. because they are technically part of the body, and they cover the top of the wheel that potrudes outside the fender. if youre into cars, how come you dont know this? its incredible

@@aarong6616 It's kind of a case where it doesn't actually happen a lot, but Toyota has denied warranty claims due to them being tracked, so people are rightly pissed off because it's a track car and it's gotten a lot more attention than normal
I own a 2023 BRZ just went full send down some back roads at night. The most fun you can have with a na 4 cylinder for a new car at a $30k price point.

@Zen Underhill Ecoboost mustang was actually on my list of cars to consider already have friends who owned ecobosts. I just fell in love with the history,looks, and driving dynamics of an 86. Not 100% a car guy I just like what I like about the 86. If I didn't fall for my current BRZ, I'd easily grab a mustang. I always loved them, too!
There are a metric f**k ton of 4 bangers for under 5k that are alot of fun. The 86 just makes you feel nice while driving a sh*tbox 😊
230hp in a 2 liter, 2800 pounds, good weight distribution, it's an excellent sports car and don't knock the benefit of it being new.. yeah you can get a 20+ year old car that had a factory claim close to 230hp. It will be a turbo 4 or a V8 and be unreliable as all hell and actually make about 150. the chassis will be soft and malleable, literally crumbling

Honestly this is the one 86 that I’d keep stock and just enjoy the way it came from the factory.
I get that the gas cap is shaped different, but I literally couldn't care less...lol. I can "unsee" that pretty easily actually.
The best quirk is rtv in the oil pickup
Or the fact that there is no oil pan baffle
The rear seats are for insurance reasons to lower your insurance bracket the same thing is done for BMWs and Porsches

I work at Subaru, and these cars really aren’t that sick. They are painfully slow and rev matching sucks cuz throttle by wire has next to no response. Just get a wrx sti, it’s objectively the better option
Atleast until the 2024 is out, the Mustang Ecoboost for 2023 is still cheaper, faster, rwd, manual or automatic, has a turbo, and still better mpg. I think for 27k or 29k with the automatic is still a better choice.
With 30k, you can get a Mustang ECO Boost, plus you get more leg room
But this car is not just for US, where i live the cheapest Mustang is at Supra price.
This is exactly why the early cars are better. My 13 never had them plastic trim bits and the gas cap was round.
Rear seats are for bags and suitcases
That rear seat description is the same as the Eagle SX4 I had in the early 90’s. Better looking car though. The SX4 looked like an 80’s Ford Escort on steroids. 😂
Gas cap is the shape of a 2000GT pop up headlight, and the fender trim is for “aerodynamics” as per Toyota
The thing about these sport car back seats is that they're perfectly comfortable. It only seats one tho.

I'm 6ft and I can sit in my 22 brz rear seats just fine you just pull up the front seat like a little bit. I got size 13 feet. I also fit 2 girls back there just fine.
Savage Geese channel said that the lip over the rear wheel, are to meet regulations. Guess the wheels cant stick out past the body of the car without being covered. Could be wrong.
Rear fender garnish is designed for Japanese vehicles law, I think. In Japan, It is illegal for the tires to stick out from the fender. So this parts are adopted.
Same in the US in most states. You need fenders to cover your wheels, but most asshole truck owners buy wheels twice as wide as stock and put them on huge spacers and then complain about how they keep getting pulled over and ticketed.
Can't say the shape of the fuel filler cap is in my buying criteria. Maybe *I'm* the weird one.

Toyota in this day and age seems to not like rear seata for some reason, unless its a camery or a highlander.
So the rear seats are kinda normal for a sports car, the gas cap is just built so it follows the contours of the cars, and that little plastic bit? Most people are probably gonna place something over that like a widebody kit anyways. This just looks like an everyday sports car with everyday features :/
Since alot of states are banning car mods of any kind.....it makes sense to make cars more difficult to mod.

It’s plastic because high probability it will be dented or damaged and then easily replaced Toyota did this on the 4Runners and Fj’s. Just speculation.

In a sport car, back seats are not relevant, this kind of cars are toys, in my case if i ever bought a car like this, I would use it for me to disappear and relax alone, no need for company.
