That is bullshit. I git my new ti-84 and it have 5.7
How could I delete these games or traces after I am done with this?
I done it lads
For the amount of editing you do, you don't have enough subscribers.
Thank you!
Your calculator may not have enough space. Check if you have any other programs on your calculator or if you forgot to do something to the pokemon red game.
yes!YES!
It’s weird. I get a lot more joy installing games onto systems which were never supposed to receive them than actually playing the games.

I heard Bethesda is already working on a port of Skyrim for the Ti-84 Plus Ce
You just made my math class much more interesting
Nothing like playing Tetris in geometry
Me: time to play some Super Mario Land on that boring math test amirite
@@snapl3s715 me playing geometry dash in geometry (i already have a 47% in that class)
I almost forgot there wasn’t going to be sound for the game haha
it’s possible to get sound out of the i/o port, such as what they did with Steins;8
EvanPlayzGames
Not with the new ti 84 plus ce, it doesn't have an I/O port and developer even said he hasn't implemented audio.
You managed to make me understand this tutorial.
It was difficult, but you were VERY accurate, step by step.
I give you tears of joy, and a huge round of applaud.
I'm glad I was able to help (:
@@TI84CalcWiz how do you get rid of it?
do 2nd +, then press 2. Afterwards, press 7, then scroll down to TIBOYCE, press del and you should be good.
Wow. Just wow. This video is literally perfect. Great editing, short and sweet, easy to follow. What more do you need. Also perfect timing for back to school 😂. But seriously I appreciate this and am definately gonna share sith my friends.
Thank you! A lot of effort went into creating this video.
Wow! This was one of the best tutorials I've ever watched! Each step was made so easy to follow. Not once did I ever get stuck the whole way through. On top of that, all the editing was superb! 100/10 You deserve more subs!
I would've LOVED to have this back in middle school or high school!! Never knew it was possible!
This video is amazing. Every step is detailed and clearly explained. Thanks to this vid, got pokemon red on my calc
but can i put skyrim on it?
Sure if you pay Bethesda 100$
Actually somebody kinda made that
todd needs his cash.
Nope.. not a powerful as a toster
Yes
This is great! I just got this calculator as it is required for school, and what perfect timing for this to just come out right when I got it. I mean yea there are those other custom games and stuff, but this is so much better as I am a huge Nintendo fan and retro collector. Also 10/10 vid, great job!
When pay an extra $20 on a calculator just to play games
Luckily for me this was the cheapest one they had, so my dad just happened to get this one
I think it even tries to play the sound, but there isn't a speaker on the calculator, so it doesn't. I'll somehow find a way to saunter on a speaker and volume button.
Great video as always, I look forward to your next one!
Yes now I can play overwatch 60fps on my calculator
Bro u don’t even know how much I love u rn
This is the coolest thing I've ever seen. Thank you so much, man!
Thank you for this, I have always wanted to play Pokémon red other than having to bring my GameBoy Color to school. Saved my Boring extra time in lunch
Hey, I think it'd be pretty cool if you could make a tutorial on how to put a PDF or ebook reader on the TI-84 Plus CE. As always, keep up the great work!
You are a madlad! The best calculator vid in a while
I was the 2,200th Subscriber! Congrats! Also, I just found your channel because I recently got my own TI-84 Plus CE and wanted to learn how to download programs and whatnot. This has helped me tremendously. Thank you!

Been watching your vids for a while. Keep up the good work!

TI84CalcWiz bro can you help me it doesn’t work for me...
I downloaded and it just says Error: Syntax
This is the only time I've ever downloaded an emulator and not thought my PC was going to explode. My math class is going to be much more fun. ;)

Am I allowed to call you God now?
Thank you! Lol now I just play Super Mario Land or Pokemon Blue during class and I get away with it xD
how do you have more than one game?
idk why I need this, I just openly play games in class anyway, had a game of Mario Kart with my teacher after a test
Thanks a lot man
you have the same pc wallpaper as me! lol
Have you ever heard of google images? Yeah, they have it. Duh.

Facets has a lot of awesome wallpapers.
Oh I found it on google images
Although the video is extremely well-edited (great job!) and probably helpful for windows users, I just can’t seem to get it to work on Mac. Is there any way you can write down the steps you’d need to take if you had a Mac?
1) Download the ROM file as shown in the video, but use the normal download button instead of the "More options" button.
2) Drag the ROM file onto your desktop as shown in the video
3) Go to this website: calc84maniac.github.io/tiboyce/converter/
4) Upload the ROM file from your desktop, download the converted file
5) Open TI Connect CE, connect your calculator, click calculator explorer, and drag in the file downloaded from the ROM conversion site
6) Download this file: github.com/calc84maniac/tiboyce/releases
7) Open the file and drag TIBOYCE.8xp, TIBoyDat.8xv and TIBoySkn onto your desktop.
8) Drag those 3 files in to TI Connect CE
9) Continue watching the video from 3:02 to learn how to open the program on your calculator.
I hope that helps! Let me know if you need any further assistance!
@@TI84CalcWiz The file kept saying it was invaild and could not be added to my TI-84 CE
Are you sure you are sending the correct files? Only send converted files. Otherwise, as I said in the video, just pressing ok also usually works.
a humble thanks to you sir
i’m not someone particularly skilled w/ computers lmao but this tutorial was extremely easy to follow. is it ok to download more than one game, and if so how many games can you keep on here at the same time?
Link's Awakening is the best!
LOL that's what im playing!
POKEMON TIME!!!!
thanks it worked!
I may just be stupid but when I go to romsmania, where the download button on your screen was is just a button that takes me to an amazon link. any help would be appreciated
I tried transferring the TIBOY CE to my friends calculator using the link cable but when he tried to run the program, it says unarchive variable before use. After unarchiving, it says error syntax. How do I properly transfer the program along with my ROM to my friends calculator?
Edit: I figured out you need to need to do Asm(prgmTIBOYCE) still not sure why I didn’t have to do that
You have to do that because you are using the older operating system. If you update, you don't need the asm( and you can also run programs while archived
TI84CalcWiz I I unarchived the program and it worked fine for everyone
Lmao I never thought i'd play pokemon on a calculator
@wilCookie minecraft is already on there. well 2d minecraft at least
@@zizfie3782 wait what? where do i get minecraft?
Awesome video but how do you made that 3D screen effect?
First took a screen recording of me doing everything on the computer, then grabbed an image of a monitor off Google Images. Then used Adobe After Effects to position the screen recording on the monitor in 3D space, used a virtual camera to fly around the scene. VideoCopilot.net is a great place to get into this sort of thing. Let me know if you have any other questions about that!
god this is going to get me through high school next year
Awesome Video. :) Hacking is great, isn't it?
When I put the Pokémon file on the TI Boy file, it just stayed in the folder and didn't let me name it or make it calculator friendly... what should I do?
Did you extract the files onto your desktop?
Yes I did- when I dragged the Pokémon file onto the TI Boy one, I tried to put the Pokémon one on the calculator but it wasn’t compatible yet
You could try using the online ROM convertor. The link for it is in the description.
Thank you! I’ll try that
Awesome!!
Great tutorial but when I drag the first file into TI connect it says it doesn't support receiving that bundle type :(
nice moe shop
I have the TI-84 Plus CE-T Python Edition but when I try to open the game on my calculator it has an error: Invalid, do you know how to fix it
Me too

goldielover123 download cabrijr and then artifice open artifice with cabri and there u can open the games
This is so damn COOOL
Crazy stuff man, hopefully TI doesn’t see this @TIinstruments
Dude, you just took an overpriced calculator and increased its value by 1000%.😁👍
Ndless will never work on TI CX-II CAS probably.
Works perfect
ooh this worked ty
bro graduated high school and dipped
Make sure you dont have your OS updated to v.5.5 because it will not work if you update it.
thank god its online too
Just a heads up to everyone here. Press 2nd and + to check your calculators OS. DO NOT UPDATE IT TO 5.5 OR HIGHER as TI removed assembly support.
This is why none of my stuff works! Any work arounds?
@@stithjim There is a program called “Artifice” that allows you run assembly’s on your calc
@@dylanturley3952 Tell me more, oh wise master!
Instructions not clear enough my caculator grew legs and walked away.
After I tried to name the converted file, the console window thing said that the ROM is too large. I don't know what this means.
Edit: I'm actually dumb. In the read me, you said to do original Gameboy games. This a great tutorial and you have a new subscriber.
Glad to hear you figured out, and thanks for subscribing!
ive tried it and am already at a roadblock because on retromania there is no more options button anymore, might you have a solution?
Idk if you check comments but I love your content
Bro my friend was freaking out when I pulled up to school with links awakening on my calculator 😂
Aside from the audio, playing GameBoy games on a calculator is honestly nicer than playing them on a conputer emulator because it kind of feels like a handheld console
How do you put more than one rom on? Whenever I try, it just replaces the last one
Do u have to put those 3 files in evertime or just the first time getting a game
When I click the rom to open the game on the calculator , it says "Need 16459 more bytes free RAM". what do I do about this?
So if the calculator doesn’t have enough memory to put the games on it how does that work? Or is it when it is transformed into a calculator friendly app does it compress the game. Also how many games can you put on it
So I just found this video and tried doing, but I made the mistake of updating my calc to the latest OS (5.6.0.20) and it doesn't seem to work on it. I found a way of downgrading to the one you linked but once again it isn’t working with my latest OS. Is this not working because of the latest OS, or because I'm messing up somewhere?
It is because of the 5.6 update, it only lets "official" apps get downloaded on the calculator. You're out of luck unless you straight-up hack the calculator, or get a new one that is on 5.4 (if you get one in a store, you can press 2nd, then +, then about on the menu that pops up and it will tell wjat version the calculator is on). Also, 5.5 also stops the calculator from using emulators, so make sure bot to get a 5.5 if you do end up buying a new one.
how much storage does the calculator have to download stuff, when I tried converting a game with the thing it said rom was too big. if so, is there a way to add storage to it?
Out of curiosity, what format of save files does the emulator take? Does it use standard .sav files?
thanks!
thank you
Hey great video, I did all of the steps except the part where you opened the file that was previously downloaded to send the three more files to the calculator after the game had been installed. Where would I find those files?
It should be in the zip file you downloaded, the same one as the ROM converter program. You can download again here if you need it: github.com/calc84maniac/tiboyce/releases
TI84CalcWiz Okay thanks so much for being so helpful
For people who are having issues, if the files say they wont go to your calculator, take them out of the file and onto the desktop. it worked for me.
The converted rom wont go inside my calc sayian its corrupt
@@Evandabest you might have converted it to the wrong type of file. make sure it is the file type for the 84-CE Plus and not the previous version, the 83
I sent a rom over and followed all of the instructions but it still says that there are no roms
ok so I put the files that I converted via the converter but im on Mac so how do I actually put the converter in the calculator since it seems to just be a website.
I have a Casio calculator and i found how to to x and o's on it. And my friends were amazed so..
This is just ....
Yeah, it's an impressive program. Depending on what calculator you have, I believe that it is possible on Casio as well: ruclips.net/video/vyQvvjMJiEA/видео.html
