- needs a wyvern-like bird wyvern to teach new players about basic game mechanics - creates Pukei Pukei - puts an unjustifiable amount of effort into making a crazy water element sub-species for it - forgets that Yian-Kut-Ku exists
Walker Pierce Lavasioth and hypnocatrice where always intended for freedom and frontier as both where developed at the same time just frontier came out first. If you look at the gen 1 artbook it even has Lavasioth In it!
Biggy Jiggy well, nightshade paolumu is just this but as a rat balloon, and a lot less cool, acidic glavenus is just a glavenus but it defense downs you and gets stabby, when we already have like six monsters in game that do that (Pickle and spicy pickle to name a couple, they just dont stabby.) fulgur anjanath is just an anjanath but instead of having snort snort fire it has snort snort lightning and hawks loogies of zap fluid at you, not really creative there... Oh, and lets not talk about how they added arch tempered variants of monsters, which literally just means you have to fight the same monster three times with it moving faster, getting like one extra attack and doing tons more damage (also I feel like AT has more health too but I cannot confirm this.)
World and Iceborne lack a lot of things the older games have but creativity isn't one of them. There's a lot of simple monsters which isn't really a bad thing but then you have things like Shara Ishvalda, Bazelgeuse, Vaal Hazak, Namielle, etc. As for AT and tempered monsters they're just Worlds version of apex/frenzy and hyper. All the monsters Sharc mentioned were subspecies which usually aren't that creative in the first place. 5th gens subspecies have been some of the most unique being more then just "monster with different color".
I loved this monster, I want him back!!

This theme actually pretty much rocks
Oddly a fun monster to fight
Awesome theme for this guy
Quite possibly the most underrated theme in this series
For sure. It's definetly my favourite forest area theme. It fits Hypnocatrice like a glove.
One of only two Frontier monsters to make it over here.

espinas says hi
👍
Sounds like Arabian music 👍😏
Es sierto
I wish they added this to MHW. Some of the new monsters really suck and lack any creativity
Nelson how so?
@@biggilus_jiggilus8345 look at the difference between 2nd 3rd and even 4th gen monsters against the new monsters added in MHW

@@sharcblazer99 i think paolumu is 100 times better than this bird, take it away its sleep spit and its just a simple bird thing
