Am I the only one that absolutely loves the Seltas Queen? Easily my new favorite monster of all time. She shakes the ground when she walks, she makes all sorts of cool machine sounds like hissing steam, steely roars and clanging metal pincer sounds... and her armor is so freakin' badass! And this music! DAMN... So fitting...
Yeah. I was MASSIVELY a impressed with her haha. Her, Kecha Wacha and Nerscylla are my favorite new monsters. It's just that these monsters have extremely well developed move sets and are unpredictable but still learnable. They showcase the environment verticality amazingly. And they all have unique area themes. Honestly, Kecha might be my ULTIMATE favorite. Just the way he fights like nothing else on land and when on a vine and for a monster meant to be so easy and the theme just gets me. And I'm a huge arachnophobe who adores the nerscyllas myriad of ailments and creepy movements. And the seltas Queen is just a living tank. I love this game.

Even back in the days of Freedom-2, you had to put up with nonsense like the damn Monoblos/Diablos constantly overshooting their charges by 3 goddamn miles. And they liked to do that REPEATEDLY.

Okay why I can't I see my own comments here sometimes? Anyway, one thing that BUGS me about this monster (hahaaa... see what I did there?), is the lack of coordination between armor and weapons. Seltas Melee Armor comes with Artillery, which is great for GunLancers of all types and ChargeBladers who use the Impact Phials. As far as I know, there is no Seltas GunLance whatsoever, and the Seltas ChargeBlade uses an ELEMENT PHIAL. This is NOT synching with the armor skills at all.

Zunoa I don't have problems killin' Seltas. My probbum is that the only quest I have where I can find a hi-rank Seltas is the quest to hunt Seltas Queen. And me in my low-rank gear, I have a bit of a tough time dealing with her... lol Hi-Rank Seltas Queen got the STOMP upgrade. Dayum.
Fought this thing and still using Nerscylla armour... lol... I didn't find this thing too much of a burden, though I did have to heal a couple of times. Super badass bug though. I want one.

It's a Japan only game in development at the moment, (my poor word order means that it's not clear whether it will be released outside of Japan) that is a turn based RPG like Pokemon/Final Fantasy with a cuter art style and pet monsters.

I friggin' love fighting this megatank of a monster, especially with Gunlance, Tank V Tank.
I really hope they bring it and the Gigginox into MH Rise.
Queenie and her Boytoy(s) are the Ornstein and Smough of monster hunter, and my absolute favourite fight.

Okay why I can't I see my own comments here sometimes?
Anyway, one thing that BUGS me about this monster (hahaaa... see what I did there?), is the lack of coordination between armor and weapons.
Seltas Melee Armor comes with Artillery, which is great for GunLancers of all types and ChargeBladers who use the Impact Phials.
As far as I know, there is no Seltas GunLance whatsoever, and the Seltas ChargeBlade uses an ELEMENT PHIAL.
This is NOT synching with the armor skills at all.

My biggest problem now is that I have to hunt for Seltas parts, but I don't have a quest to hunt high-rank seltas by itself...

I found that pole vaulting with the insect glaive to hit the Seltas on top was an easy way to kill one.
Zunoa I don't have problems killin' Seltas. My probbum is that the only quest I have where I can find a hi-rank Seltas is the quest to hunt Seltas Queen. And me in my low-rank gear, I have a bit of a tough time dealing with her... lol
Hi-Rank Seltas Queen got the STOMP upgrade. Dayum.
If you think that's bad, wait until G rank Tetsucabra stomp.
And his chin scoop is more powerful than freaking Ukanlos. It's insane.
Fought this thing and still using Nerscylla armour... lol...
I didn't find this thing too much of a burden, though I did have to heal a couple of times. Super badass bug though. I want one.

And wow, I wrote this in April. That is a testament to how long I've had, and still play the game for.
It's a Japan only game in development at the moment, (my poor word order means that it's not clear whether it will be released outside of Japan) that is a turn based RPG like Pokemon/Final Fantasy with a cuter art style and pet monsters.
