The governments response to the fact were building 3 times the capacity we need - lets spend 38 billion on more battery sites. They are obsessed and don't let logic get in their way.
Electricity price in China is 9p per KW/hr, because it's coal fired power stations, mostly the 400 million tons exported from carbon neutral Australia (cleverly, it's not burnt in Australia you see). I am sure Reeves brought this up in her recent visit and the 35% of global emissions China is responsible for? UK is 0.88%. I'll tell you now that zero won't be low enough for these special patients.
