Chris Angel and David Blaine having twin brothers shouldnt be that shocking or amazing.When you look back at many tricks especially Chris it is obvious he has a twin.
I rather enjoy these... It doesn't take any of the fun out of it.. still exciting to watch.. besides being frozen isn't all that hard, I was married for 8 years

I don't think they bothered to do 7 actual days, rather they just did a demonstration and showed how it could be done.

When you spend a whole week I a bunker just for a 10 minute clip
They didn't actually do it rather just a few hours to demonstrate how ti's done. Once you know the trick there's no actual point in going through with a full week.
The secrete is to eat lots and lots of beans. The warmth of all the farts will keep the inside chamber warm. No different from a fire pit inside an igloo lol

1:56 that wire probably leads to some form of heating system, or because ice is a great insulator, he may have other utilities
4:12 he is standing in the same place, and hasn't shown any signs of aging. it is probably just a 10 minute inside the chameber. the ice was heated up.
Regarding your second point, how much visible "aging" are you going to go through in six days?

The first 4 specials of this show all featured Val Valentino as the masked magician. This trick is from the 5th special on FOX in 2002. A different magician wearing a different outfit was used for this episode.

I'm guessing that most of the "ice" is just plastic blocks. The only parts that are actually ice are probably on the outside and the part where they cut though at the end.
