- Scenes recorded on Saturday September 27th & Saturday October 4th, 1997, of steam locomotive 3830 undergoing load trials on the Cockatoo Run after being extensively overhauled and returned to service by the Powerhouse Museum.
A nice little video I remember working trains at Enfield with 3830 a good loco wonder what happened to it probably scrapped like the rest.

What is the status of this locomotive now?
Not sure operations wise, but it's at thirmlere, last time I checked it had been repainted and I think there was work done to the boiler (?)

@@johnmclean6498 I believe the engine now needs a full boiler out overhaul, after further inspection was conducted (of which both MAAS and THNSW have said they cannot support at this point in time both due to financial and other projects.)
