Okay - so goals sound very thoughtful. I am not a goal setter, but I may try to set some myself. My biggest challenge is finishing what I start. I have some very large canvases I’d like to tackle. It would be nice to finish 1 a month. I would consider sectioning it off with the number of days in that month, to keep me “on schedule “. Maybe 😂
I like how you planned out to do a diamond painting a month and which one you’d do each month. I think I’ll do that also. Perhaps that will help me get some done.
I work full time, so I don't get a lot of time for diamond painting. I bought most of th kits I want to work on. I don't really set DP goals. I want to participate in more events, so I joined some facebook groups. I started a Yuumei canvas and another one from DAC, so I'll shuffle between those two and some smack size ones. Great WIP and chat!
I did Jasper Sea and its really nice. One of the only round kits I've enjoyed. I don't do goals because most of the time they overwhelm me. But I am going to try and grow my you tube channel more in the new year. Also want to order from smaller shops and give them some attention, DAC gets more than enough airtime everywhere.
You have inspired me. I recently retired and will have more time to diamond paint…..i just pulled out some small shop wax to try something new! Also loading a different putty as we speak.
I think you’ve set some realistic goals and have broken them down into some manageable steps. I need to spend some time looking at what my 2024 goals will be, in all areas of my life. ❤ You have inspired me to start thinking and planning.
Your goals sound reasonable. I might make some goals for 2024. Usually I don’t have any. But I was thinking while watching and I kind of want to make up a list and see if I can do it. Thanks for all the great videos. Have a good day.
Hi Daphne! You really have done well with your 2023 goals. I admire that you do your best to stick to them. I don’t really set goals for myself but this past year I tried to not purchase any new diamond paintings and just work through what I have and I did really well with that. I decided not to do too many events next year. I find that if I’m doing something for an event then I’m not really taking the time to enjoy it as much as I would if I were just doing it for the fun and relaxation of it. If I’m doing it for an event, I feel kind of rushed and have that deadline in the back of my mind. To be honest, the only two events I plan on participating in in 2024 are your two events. I really enjoy doing DPforpets and DPforvets and I already have canvases lined up for both of them for next year. Other than that, unless something comes along that I really, truly want to participate in, I’m going to just relax and continue to work through my stash. So I guess that’s my big goal for 2024.
Ooh, you're right - I hadn't considered that having a deadline might be stressful for some. For me, it's usually a good motivator, which is why I thought I'd try to more next year. Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for another great video. I think your goals are realistic and doable. 2024 will be my first full year of diamond painting and this inspires me to set a few goals to see if I can reach them. I have enough in my stash to be able to do this. Thank you for some good goal ideas! Have a great rest of the week and weekend!
I am fairly new to diamond painting and not much for setting goals. I have 4 in my current stash that I would like to get done next year that are fairly large including a Pinson
I don't really set hour or finish goals for my hobbies, but I would like to start two kits from "new-to-me brands" by June. Likely Oraloa and Jaded Gem Shop. I have already bought the kits and will start Oraloa in January. I don't get to Diamond Paint much, typically 6-10 hours per week, sometimes zero. But I do always try to do some each week.
I like goals, but they have to be flexible. I have spreadsheets showing the next two years. I support seven people with my income alone so I can't fathom having that kind of money to spend on diamond painting. One a month will work for me though, and since I complete around one a month while working full time, it works out well. The last thing I want is a huge stash of unfinished work.
Love Benedict Blue & gingerbread lighthouse DP. Have you heard of Cateared "TraBricks" dp storage? And have you ever ordered trays from Yellowdog Designs (Canadian shop)? Just curious what's your opinion, on these products. Have a good day!
I’ve seen the Cateared trays, but not tried them. I’ve not heard of Yellowdog before, I’ll have to look them up. I think the multiplacer in the video is the 6 placer from DAC. Thanks for watching!!
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous That's really cool! I might have to get some. It would combine two of my favorite things atm: Diamond painting and crit role xD (I usually listen to their episodes as I work on a diamond painting :D)
There is a Josephine Wall in April and May 2024 - A new start or finish is not required! You have some excellent and doable goals. Thanks for sharing!
I'll make a note of that one! Thanks for watching!!

I actually am planning to do something like that for one of my big projects. Thanks for watching!
I like your idea about sectioning the Diamond painting into days of the month. That sounds like a good way to get bigger ones done.
My only goal is to complete 25 kits before I buy more. (It’s a place to start) 😅😅. As long as you have joy, do it anyway you want to. ❤❤
Yes, exactly! Thanks for watching!!

I still need to spend some time planning goals for my ‘real’ life, but at least I’m set for diamond painting now! Thanks for watching!!

Thank you for sharing your goals and I usually just keep my goals in my head so I’m going to document my goals this year and see if that helps.
My head is too full of random trivia and 80s song lyrics to keep my goals in there too! Thanks for watching!!

Benedict Blue! Should I dp with you? I have this kit as well, purchased when it made its debut. Hmmm ……
I loved it immediately when I saw it!

I'm not on a no buy for 2024, but will be very aware of what im purchasing. BTW, is that Critical Role washi????? ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

As far as I know, the next main Spangler event is July 2024. There is a drawing with Spangler in March I think.

I just noticed the washi tape! Quick question about it; Did you get it yourself or was it a gift?
Mainly asking because I saw the crit role logo xD
