What are Mii Swordfighter's out of shield? Trying to figure out how to play against characters with long swords (Sephiroth, Aegis). This video taught me a few things about dealing with these fighters but I still have plenty to learn.
Not much, the fastest oos is hero spin at frame 8, grab is frame 10, up smash is frame 11, jump gale stab is frame 12, jump nair and stone scabbard are frame 13. As swordfighter you kinda have to rely on parry, fsoos, or other options like jump away or spotdodge.
If we're being real if you genuinely want actual oos options you're gonna have to learn foostool oos. Other than that you're best option is prolly just gonna be nair. Just be careful ripping usmash oos bc it can be deviously easy to whiff.
At top level it is probably 2233. That's what Miya plays. I play 2213 because I like the recovery. It helps you down air off stage safely. Fun character.
Personally, I think Gale Strike, Chakram, Reversal Slash, and Skyward Slash Dash is the most universally optimal. You’ll have to commit to get good at wavebouncing mastering tilt specials for chakram, but it’s worth it.
@@stephenkary6034 I have tilt specials 100% mastered, even with diagonal up and diagonal down chakram, moving either left or right and bouncing left or right. 😅🤘

N-air is going to be your best bet. Otherwise, shield grab when you can.
