    I compiled a list of Danya’s sayings:
    - When you find a good move, look for a better one
    - Don’t let your bishop bite on granite
    - Your pieces don’t always have to be conquering Mount Everest/ distributing the Covid vaccine
    - The threat is stronger than the execution
    - When your opponent plays passively, strike in the center
    - No need to reinvent the wheel, just develop pieces normally
    - Bad bishops defend good pawns
    - You want to perform a task with the piece of least possible value
    - Sometimes your knights need to go to Frankfurt airport
    - Keep the tension
    - Something something potential energy
    - Queen should be the supporting actress
    - Loose pieces drop off
    - A Type 1 Undefended Piece is a piece that is not protected by any other pieces.
    - A Type 2 Undefended Piece is a piece that is only protected by one other piece (Overloading tactics arise from this)
    - An outpost is not inherently good
    - When you’re considering a multiple-move tactic, try flipping the order
    - If your opponent tries to stop your idea, ask yourself the Sam Shankland Question: What if I do it anyway?
    - Doubled pawns aren’t inherently bad
    - Lastly: Rules are meant to be broken

I'm 2000 cc and the one thing your speedrun has made me realise that it's really just the basics that matter. I don't understand how this is okay for black...

I was wondering the same thing, after looking at the position for some time my guess would be possible f4 ideas undermining the knight and creating weaknesses for black after defending with f6, also it might leave the dark squared bishop without any real prospect because you block the diagonal. Additionally, white can then dominate your bishop by playing a3 at some point. Keep in mind im only about 2000 myself so i might very well be wrong in my assessment. Hope my input helps however :)

Interestingly enough exf3 isn't as bad as it seems to be according to SF even though gxf3 is still a little bit better and leads to more complicated positions. Sf 15 dev has them within 0.1 of each other at 1.2 billion nodes and 37 depth using MV =2. Funny enough when white castled K-side and not Q-side, the evaluation went from -0.89 to -1.96, so this may have been the losing move interestingly enough. Castling Q-side attacks the knight and also has the king close to black's Q-side majority. Lastly, on another note, Nf6 with later the idea of h5 was considered better than Ne7.

Thanks sensei Danya, this was a very clean game overall. So far at this level the opponents are starting to play less sporadic and with a small momentum in moves and a bit of planning. Still though, nothing perfectly concrete or with a whole clear end game. I cant wait to see the next episode. 😎
