Not sure how difficult this will be, but trying to guess every UK or English city. The UK has a weird set of cities, and it’s more a guessing game of whether a UK settlement is a city or a town
Good idea. I feel like there are some pretty small cities in England like Ripon, Lincoln, Chichester and Ely along with there being like 50 cities just in England, but it could be a fun main channel video
My goofy ahh: Albert, British Colombia, Quebec, New Finland and Labrador Retriever, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotland, Ontario, Not a nut, The Japanese sounding one, Manytuba, Sasquatch, Prince Edward's Island, and New John Wick.
@Darth_B A province is typically part of a unitary system with less autonomy, controlled more by the central government, while a state is part of a federal system with more independence and power to govern itself.
Your pronunciation guide for Newfoundland was wrong. Most people don’t get that there is a really strong emphasis on the third syllable, and they break the first and second syllable in the wrong spot. It’s Newf-n-LAND.
5:15 "I gotta make sure I know how to pronounce them from the beginning". Yeah, Jack, that's why you're pronouncing Newfoundland as "New Finland" for the whole video
It's interesting to see that your google voice in UK pronounces some of these differently than Canadians actually do. Not your fault, you've been led astray! Lol.
I think learning the historic counties of England would be pretty do-able. They're all names Jack will already be familiar with, which definitely helps, and there's only 39 of them, which isn't massive
By the way it's 10 provinces and 3 territories (Yukon, Nunavut, Northwest Territories). A mnemonic to remember which are the territories can be "territories are more northern than provinces."
"capitals are overehelming for me" How do you think you did all the countries & flags? I suggest doing separate continents & regions first if the whole world is too overwhelming
Maybe learn the capital cities of North America. The Caribbean islands has lots of English names and Central America is quite easy as well. So, I think that it would be pretty easy for you to do.
When I was teaching Canadian geography, I told my students that a good way to remember British Columbia is that it is kind of shaped like a B. To remember the territories (Nunavut, Northwest Territories, and Yukon), I said that they’re all up north because they are territories. I also told them that Saskatchewan is hard to spell but easy to draw (because it’s a rectangle). And I also told them that Newfoundland is the one furthest east because when the Europeans came over to colonize it was the first places they came to. So that’s why it’s call NEW FOUND LAND. And New Brunswick is shaped like a circle a bit and that’s how they remembered that one oddly enough.
My suggestion is trying to learn Brazilian states. There 26 of them. So is quite the middle of the road between Canadian provinces and US states in the difficult level
Ah yes, Saskatchewan. Easy to draw, hard to spell.
And impossible to write between the lines
Kyrgyzstan, hard to draw, hard to spell
“New Finland” is driving me crazy
Same with Saskatchewan, with un and Ontario with tar
Yean same with Saskatchewan with un and Ontario with tar
Yes, its Newfind lind
its pronounced on AIR io jack, not ont ARE io
To pronounce Newfoundland as a proper Canadian you have to remove all the vowels and say it without opening your mouth.

scotland is easy
Zi8gzag: Can you name any Canadian provinces?
Jack: I can name Nunavut, but I know Yukon name all of them.
Peak media. Absolutely peak.
absolute cinema
peak of humanity
I read it in both their voices
2:29 “it’s how i remembered all 197 flags of the world”
-shows Jack doing a naming all countries of Europe quiz
Because he started Europe first
You should try learning the flags and/or capital cities of each Canadian province!
I only know one, Quebec's.
Jack needs to learn all the capital cities of the world.
“labrador is quite a big dog”….. A NEWFOUNDLAND IS A MASSIVE DOG TOO
Good point!
Massive?
It frustrates me how Newfoundland and Labrador aren't the other way round like they are on the map.
@yes-713bigger than a lab. Males are usually somewhere around 150 lb
Prince Edward Island lore is insane 💀
“Quebec is the big fella that we forgot” spoken like a true Canadian 😂
“New Finland” is making me pull my hair out 😂
5:05 I’m pretty sure Nunavut is technically closer to Finland
I just looked at a globe, it’s much closer
Learn the Canadian province flags next
"Q is a higher number in the alphabet"
The three terrorists are Yukon, Northwest Territorys and Nunavut are the three territories the other 10 are provinces.
Here's another trick to remembering the word "Ontario"... just remember the word "Ontario."
You should do more overseas territories and Australian provinces
Australia uses states, not sure what the difference between a state and province is but they aren’t the same word so there’s probably a difference
@Darth_B A province is typically part of a unitary system with less autonomy, controlled more by the central government, while a state is part of a federal system with more independence and power to govern itself.
@ I could have guessed that myself, but wasn’t certain
You can just call Prince Edward island, PEI. All of us Canadians do
Rearrange the letters.. 🥧

Yeah, Jack, that's why you're pronouncing Newfoundland as "New Finland" for the whole video
We actually have 10 provinces and 3 territories
having an aneurysm listening to jack try and pronounce newfoundland. IT RHYMES WITH UNDERSTAND
Did anybody else notice that Ontario points nowhere Rio?

Saskatchewan for me is a sassy cat chew on Manitoba
09:00 Let's welcome our newest province, formed by the merger of Nunavut and Manitoba
NUNATOBA
I’ve been waiting for this video for so long (I’m Canadian)
You should do the capitals of each Canadian province and territory next!!
Bit bold of you to guess Philadelphia first but i respect it
“Im having none of it” is how I remember it
Ooh, all German states (Bundesländer) would be interesting
Incredible video. Loved the old style jsag.
You could try to learn all of the german "Bundesländer"
2:50 Uncle Albert reference, never thought I'd see the day 👀
“Nova Scotia’s the teeny tiny one” famous last words
i've always wanted jack to learn more about canadian geography! its a beautiful place
My childhood pneumonic was: “Is there a lot of people there? No theres Nunavut”
Jack thanks for helping me learn
The pronunciations🤣🤣🤣
7:27 its okay back I live in BC yet still cant spell sisatkewwen
Saskatchewan
saskatchewan
I keep hearing zi8gzag saying Saskatchewan, come on jack
Not you spelling my province, British Columbia, wrong. That was cute. And you were SO sure there was one. Also LOL at Nunatoba.
Don’t worry, most of us Canadians can’t even spell Saskatchewan either 😂😂😂
This went smoother than I thought. well done.❤
LETSGO, thanks for your amazing video jack
Jack should do a video drawing the Canadian Providence's! I think a lot of people would like it!😃
Especially Nunavut 😏
YESS live the Canadian childhood
100%
Its easy to remember Nunavut, because when you try to remember the provinces and territories, you remember none of it.
11:14 NOO JACK YOU WERE SO CLOSE
New Finland made me fall out of my seat
By the way Jack don't feel down you did good you did your best.
You need the old song "the provinces of Canada are fun to remember." It sings the provinces east to west (the territories aren't in the song, though).
as a canadian this video made me go insane
It's interesting to see that your google voice in UK pronounces some of these differently than Canadians actually do. Not your fault, you've been led astray! Lol.
I think learning the historic counties of England would be pretty do-able. They're all names Jack will already be familiar with, which definitely helps, and there's only 39 of them, which isn't massive
And now I've learned them, too! Thanks, Jack!
Prince Edward Island is named after Prince Edward Duke of Kent who was son of George III and Father of Victoria
By the way it's 10 provinces and 3 territories (Yukon, Nunavut, Northwest Territories). A mnemonic to remember which are the territories can be "territories are more northern than provinces."
omg he's learning stuff again!!!
13:16 capitals of canadian provinces
''New Finland'' Lmaoo
Erm actually, its 3 territoires and 10 provinces🤓☝️
"capitals are overehelming for me"
How do you think you did all the countries & flags? I suggest doing separate continents & regions first if the whole world is too overwhelming
Suggestion: Learn all Dutch and French Overseas Territories!!!
WOOOO MY favourite type of jsag video ❤
Maybe learn the capital cities of North America. The Caribbean islands has lots of English names and Central America is quite easy as well. So, I think that it would be pretty easy for you to do.
for Prince Edward Island, you can also write PEI and it'll accept it.
As I Canadian I suffered from you getting it wrong
Pronouncing Nova Scotia as Nova Scot-ia is amusing.
When I was teaching Canadian geography, I told my students that a good way to remember British Columbia is that it is kind of shaped like a B. What do you guys usually teaches at canadinan schools?
Jack, Alberta, is named after Queen Victoria’s husband, Prince Albert, but with the feminine spelling.
As a Canadian watching from New Brunswick, Canada, this pains to watch
Under one hour gang
👇
We say it new-finned-land
thank you from canada 🍁
My suggestion is trying to learn Brazilian states. There 26 of them. So is quite the middle of the road between Canadian provinces and US states in the difficult level
In brazil, we actually have 26 states + the federal district.
@@leandroblockmango2673 it was a typo, but thanks to point it out
as soon as I clicked on the video, I paused it and named all of them while pointing at the province/territory
You did the best you could do
jack we believe that you can learn the capitals! if u can name all flags, you can name all capitals!
Not really, but let's see if he can.
Do a video learning the 30 largest lakes or something similar to that
Even some Canadians struggle to spell Saskatchewan 😅
Great video!
Thanks Jack now I know all the Canadian territories and where they're located
Day 25 of asking Jack to learn all USA state Capitols
Now learn all in Sweden💪
Newfoundland and Labrador are homes of the dogs, is how I would remember it.
Good job Jack.
Next please try the states of Germany.
Jack, Nova Scotia, is Latin for New Scotland. Scotia, is the Latin name for Scotland.
Do the Swedish counties! 🙏🙏🙏
You could learn;
~ All States in Germany
~ All States in Austria
~ All Cantons in Switzerland
~ All Regions in France
~ All Regions in Italy
Saskatchewan is the new kyrgyzstan
Actually, I think it's harder to remember the spelling than kyrgyzstan
The only one i knew was manitoba but now learned all with jack
as a canadian, proud of you jack
Do you approve his pronunciation?
@@leandroblockmango2673”New Finland” is what he needs to fix
Suggestion
Try to name Indian states, or China's
similar level to this could be the capital cities of each. they all have pretty cool names imo
Every time I watch a Jack vid I ask myself "why does this guy have a geography channel"?
13:16 Australia provinces?
I'd love to watch you learn the territories of the world! I think there are anywhere between 42 and 150 depending on who you ask lol.
I’ve never been this early to a Jacksucksatgeography😭
Yea I don’t recommend connecting nun and Nunavut, a lot of nuns did a lot of bad things to Inuit people
Germany would probably be a sensible step up, if continuing with subdivisions
