Neelavelicham, is a horror-thriller movie directed and co-produced by Aashiq Abu under his production house OPM Cinemas. The film stars Tovino Thomas, Rima Kallingal, and Roshan Mathew in the leading roles. Neelavelicham' is a remake of A. Vincent's 1964 film Bhargavi Nilayam and it based on the short story written by the legendary writer Vaikom Muhammed Basheer.

Personally , I have loved this movie a lot! Saw the old movie and read the short story of neelavelicham as well! All versions were .. unique in their own right ! It’s no use comparing all the 3 , which was written from different time periods , eventhough they are the same story , written by same author , Vaikom Muhammed Basheer .. the only off feeling I have ever felt watching neelavelicham , was the chemistry between Sasi Kumar and Bhargavi in the current one .. and that’s my opinion alone .. but because of this , it’s quite unfair to mutilate this whole movie ! As a movie , it was something else .. something so difficult to articulate .. had an elevated feeling while watching this masterpiece! ❤❤

ചെറുപ്പ കാലത്ത് കണ്ടിരുന്ന , ഓർമ്മയിൽ അധികമൊന്നും പതിയാതിരുന്ന ഭാർഗ്ഗവീ നിലയം വീണ്ടും കാണണമെന്ന താൽപര്യം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയത് വളർന്നപ്പോൾ ബഷീറിന്റെ നീലവെളിച്ചം എന്ന കഥ വായിച്ചതോടെയാണ്. നീലവെളിച്ചം എന്ന കഥയുടെ ആത്മാവിനെ മുഴുവനായി ഉൾക്കൊള്ളാൻ ഭാർഗ്ഗവീ നിലയത്തിന് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നു തോന്നുന്നില്ല , ബഷീർ തന്നെ തിരക്കഥ എഴുതിയിട്ടു കൂടി.
വാരിയൻകുന്നനെ നായകനാക്കി സിനിമ എടുക്കാൻ പറ്റാത്തതിന്റെ വിഷമം ആഷിഖ് ഈ സിനിമയിലൂടെ തീർത്ത്... 😁
ഒരു ബന്ധവും ഇല്ലാത്ത കാര്യങ്ങൾ ആണല്ലോ പറയുന്നത്. അല്പം കൂടി ഒക്കെ ചിന്തിച്ചു comment ഒക്കെ ചെയ്യുന്നതല്ലേ നല്ലത്? നമ്മൾ ഒരു കാര്യം പറയുന്നതിന് മുൻപ് എന്താണ് വാര്യംകുന്നനും ബഷീർ കഥകളും തമ്മിൽ ഉള്ള വ്യത്യാസം എന്നൊക്കെ മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നത് നല്ലതാണ്. കാര്യം comment section എന്തും പറയാവുന്ന വേദി ആണ്, പക്ഷെ അല്പം കൂടി ബുദ്ധി ഉപയോഗിച്ച അത് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് എല്ലാവർക്കും ഗുണം ഉള്ള കാര്യം ആണ്
അടൂർ ഗോപാലകൃഷ്ണന്റെ ഏഴയലത്ത് ആഷിക് അബു എത്തില്ല. ആഷിക് അബു നല്ല cameraman മാത്രം.
