She's too stinkin cute! ❤ She looks like a little valias lamb who's still growing out her wool, nice project, thanks for sharing your process as always 😊
I just discovered that breed when I was searching for black and white lambs to use for my painting model. They have the most amazing curly wool! Do you know if their wool can be used for weaving or knitting, like normal sheep's wool?
Thanks Alan. I hope spring shows up soon. I had deer in my little back yard last night, for the first time ever. I think they're getting hungry, but they didn't eat my trees. 😊
@@UltimatePaperMache Nah,I’m just that far behind on my list. 😊 I am FINALLY having knee surgery in another week and I’ll be away from my studio for…who knows how long. 🤷♀️😊
Adorable I can't wait to get a bigger room so I can make some of your new patterns I've always wanted to make your male lion head mask ...a great project again thank you
I have purchased Plus 3 all purpose joint compound off Amazon little pricy $27 I havent tested it out yet, as I just ordered it a moment ago. ;). But wanted to post a comment about it. I just checked our local Lowe's online, and they have that brand. I'll try to remember to pick some up the next time I go to town. Thanks for the idea!
I have not done a meerkat. But I do have a video that shows you how you can make a simple pattern that goes on the inside of an animal sculpture. You can find it here: ruclips.net/video/ywViyxgbPUg/видео.html
I live in Minnesota, where it is also very cold. The temperature doesn't bother paper mache, but if it gets really hot it can dry out paper mache sculptures, and the 'skin' might crack. Make some small items, seal them well with varnish, and give them a year or so to test how well they do in your climate. And have fun!
I tried translating with Google, but it didn't work. Do you mean the patterns, like the one for this lamb? You can find them here: www.ultimatepapermache.com/patterns
I love crafting, and often scour youtube for new idea's. But I always come back to yours, your creations are amazing

Does the clay dry fast like the usual clay used for sculpting?
I always use a very thin layer of the paper mache clay over an armature, so it's usually dry in a day or two.
@@UltimatePaperMache Thank you so much!
