Hi Jake Wright, I have a plan to learn, how to build my own website and i thought of learning HTML first. Before i start learning I thought its gonna be a little bit skeptical to understand the HTML code but its really amazing that the way you started teaching in your part 1 as well as part 2 videos, it was very clear and it shows your brilliance in how to teach others in a simple & understandable way. Thanks for uploading your videos, this will surely help me to put my first step in building my own website. If i have any doubts too, i will get your advice on the same. Thanks Jake

so html is a mockup language, which defines the structure of things on webpage. k.
and css adds style to that webpage like fonts, colors, etc. k.
these 2 together makes up most simple 'static' webpages... k
for more sexy webpages like those moving parts and stuff you can interact with, javascript is a programming language that can do that. k. javascript is client sided, meaning the user who visits the webpage loads all the stuff. k. for a server sided, meaning the computer that users talk to, PHP is for that.. k. i think i've heard of Dhtml for dynamic HTML for making moving elements like javascript, but that's another story. k thanks i've learnd a lot.
