In this video I show my go-to hairstyles for school and work! I don’t like to change up my hairstyles often so this video is like a mini catalog of different hairstyles I like to choose from whenever I don’t want to keep my hair straight.
I also have really thin and dead hair due to bleach and having a layered haircut so following viral hairstyle tutorials are pretty difficult since the ones I see always have long and thick hair. Therefore, I wanted to portray a more realistic version of these hairstyles for my thin hair girlies ⋆˙⟡
I also filmed these clips on different days so if my makeup looks weird or different in some of them, thats why!

i just suggest the captions being bigger they're super tiny. everything else ive seen is great imo we are all harder on ourselves and see things others wont

It’s all so cute but the sad part is that I always feel so scared to do something new and go to school like that it just feels like people will judge or something so I just don’t do it but I wish I could be confident enough 😭
If you feel scared, you can do it at home and ask your family members if it's good and take some pictures and ask your friends or take it to the grocery store and you will get used to it.
The way I became more confident in wearing different hairstyles despite that I’ve been wearing my hair down for so long with no styles is just by wearing these hair styles alone, or when no one’s home. Create the space where you feel safe and confident enough to try different styles out! Putting on your favorite playlist or song that makes you feel good, then going somewhere where you can linger for a while with no disturbances is a good start! You’ll find what complements you best and what doesn’t in that time being. You can do very small things to start as well, you don’t need to jump into doing flashy things quite yet. Good luck!
omg I totally relate to you. I absolutely refused to put my hair up in public cause I was so self conscious of my forehead and how I looked in general so majority of my high school days were filled with hairstyles that were always down 😭 I definitely got used to that comfort zone. it wasn’t only until recently I started to feel more confident going out with different hairstyles.
One main thing I did to overcome that was legit just going out and taking it all in😭 I just had that “whatever” mentality. Confidence makes such a huge difference in how we perceive ppl! The girlies I talk to literally tell me they worry about trying new things in public and they say they’re worried ab looking goofy but from my perspective, they have always looked so confident! As per previous replies here, I also asked my friends and family about what they thought and they supported me! I’m always quick to point out the negative things that I forget that majority of ppl don’t really pay attention to those so having a second opinion can definitely help.
you should totally do it! i regret not dressing up/doing my hair in high school. if someone judges u for looking good, that's THEIR problem!!

hi bes! I’m careful with heat too now especially after having bleached my hair and everything. I use heat protectant a lot and use the lowest temp setting in all my hot tools!

Hi! I do it myself. I like to use a lot of the Asian brand ones just bc it tailors more for Asian hair in general. The hair colour I have right now isn’t the typical one I use but it’s the garnier belle colour #43 dark golden brown! The main one I’ll usually go back to is the mise en scene, hello bubble 6N!! (This one is really effective for darker hair!)

thank u! I’ll be going over it in depth in my next video but I always use the Jolen cream bleach (mild formula). I tone it with purple shampoo after and the one I use is the milkshake brand! I don’t dye it since the hair colours i always go for already have some sort of orangey/brown tone to it so it blends pretty well with my hair already 😊
