I remember this stream - she started out saying she was going to the worse rated or cheapest salon she obviously is going in to cause trouble for views. RUclips really need to look into holding content creators to a code of conduct because people are really out here bothering people in the community for views.
People who don’t do color have no idea how tough it is. If she went back brown that’s a whole color correction that costs 100’s of dollars and takes hours. This is why I don’t do hair anymore. People are really entitled and think you can work against chemistry and biology 🥴. This was a nice lady just trying to do her job.
I can’t believe we live in a society where being recorded without “consent” is the norm. I absolutely hate having my picture taken or being recorded & people think I’m annoying for dodging cameras. But DAMN I don’t want to be recorded!!! Don’t I have that right🤷🏽♀️
You have real empathy AHG. You saw yourself in that stylist regardless of skin color, age etc. She didn’t deserve to be put on blast like that. It was a misunderstanding.
Narada is a licensed professional stylist and yet people are still going to argue with the person who does this job day in day out. Everyone thinking their feelings and opinions are facts is so irksome.
I think part of the issue too is that many people are ignorant to hair color application. They don't know the difference between a single or double process. They don't understand that refreshing a faded color with a rinse and doing a double or triple process color correction (pulling out old deposited color, getting consistent lift in the hair and then custom formulating a color deposit on the hair) are 2 very different things. People want to tone police a consultation, but then don't even know what they are looking at or the amount of time, money, and work that's gonna go into it.
@@AfrikanHairGod she had about 30 minutes with you. If she would have been quiet long enough she could have learned something. That's why I love your content because I have learned so much over the years.
The entitlement & disrespect for content is what I don’t like. It’s like she wanted something for views & then she got it & then pulled “the victim” card. She don’t want to be called out & have to take accountability for all actions. She never talked about the camera. 🙄😑 Thank you for the update, I think you handled this very well, this was great. 😂😂
That stylist was giving vibes of she has already dealt with plenty of women coming in there on a groupon wanting miracles with their hair. The manager should not have played into it because Lez had alternative motives and now her salon looks even worse.
Oooohhh...this was a classic. It was a trip. She never addressed why she didn't stop recording after she was asked to stop. She never addressed why she went into the salon even though she felt "uncomfortable" upon entry. The whole thing was messy from the jump.
She really finessed this into some drama. She used a bunch of buzz words to accuse that stylist of racism for no reason. I don’t know whether she is or is not racism but I do know that from her video, that is an unfair accusation.
Narada was completely correct in how he handled this situation with her. This girl was doing all of this for views and back peddling to make herself look good. She is so disrespectful for talking to the stylist and Narada the way she did. I love to watch Narada’s content because even when he has made a mistake on his streams he openly admits to his mistake and refreshing to see. A lot of times RUclipsrs refuse to admit when they have made a mistake or mis spoke.
She put on a Karen clinic in that live! Offend, attempt to manipulate, listen to respond, deflect, revise history, refuse to take accountability, play victim. It was textbook.
She would rather kick the bucket before ever admitting that she was pointing to her BROWN ROOTS! Also, I believe the stylist stated that she had bleached hair because I've seen plenty of people assume that box colors don't contain bleaching agents. She clearly knows nothing about the color wheel either because she should've known she was pointing at the brown when the woman said the color would be green. The stylist was straightforward and probably would've did a bomb job if this Karen would have let her do her thing and respected her wishes of not being recorded. Also, she gives me raised by a ⚪ mom vibes by how much she's throwing around how black she is and how she throws in those jabs then plays victim. Most biracials I know act like that when they feel like they've been wronged.
To me, Lex was trying to get sympathy and empathy clout with playing the race card. We, people of color...don't do that. If we've been discrimated or exposed to racists...we are serious about what we've experienced and we could care less for gaining clout. Apparently she's not. Fr!😕😕😣😣
@@shamidkpzd I think maybe the hair stylists could have had a little attitude at the very beginning per Lex but then just leave the salon don't go back and forth with someone and the record it for entertainment. I am glad Narada shut her down.
The stylist wasn't rude or blunt. She was just giving her professional opinion based on her knowledge and wasn't about to be bullied into messing up her hair. I do hair n women will try n force somethin that u kno wont work well for them in the end. Some of yall so sensitive cause the girl in the seat was annoying n trolling from start to finish
Yeah she tried it from the jump Asking about some damn pronouns. She was pressed because you’re a MAN and you called out her Karen like behavior... she was nasty, aggressive, and rude to that woman. She wouldn’t be coming to no black salon on that mess because she know she would get DRAGGED.
How obnoxious. I’ve been in salon and seen people like her. They throw a tantrum to get what they want (no matter how ridiculous) and get mad when the stylists tells them the truth. This one time a lady at the salon (with damaged hair) insisted upon a particular color (which would take several processes to get) but she insisted it was a single color AND she had just had her hair relaxed a week ago. The stylist was like your hair is damaged and you should rethink using more chemicals right now. And that girl got mad saying the stylist was refusing to service her and she was going to corporate. Like how you mad the stylist is trying to ensure you don’t go bald?
People do not like to hold themselves accountable for their trifling ass actions. And then she twist and turn it to make it seem as if she was the victim, wtf. And what grind my gears is that her viewer's was literally kissing her ass and defending her actions as if she was the one who wasn't at fault.
The reviews for that salon were completely from her subscribers leaving bad reviews over a girl they don’t even know. It was sad and she mad when the stylist told her she didn’t want to be recorded. Like someone tells you she doesn’t want to be recorded and you tell her no and didnt even blur her face but went back and did after being called out for her bull. I just tried looking up her channel and her whole channel is gone like she has no videos I wonder if she got sued
You're right. She remade a new channel and named herself, "Alexus PhinessewithLex Jackson." She no longer posts, as often and her content has changed dramatically. Maybe her account got suspened/shut down or really got threatened with a lawsuit; as you've inquired.😦😮😮😮😊
Love the way you spoke to her politely, but still put her in her place! I agree, she is VERY manipulative-tried to antagonize you from the very beginning under the guise of “being polite” and “just asking for your preferred pronouns”. What? Girl, gone.
I think the people saying she was too harsh, are same people who do damaging things to their hair all the time bc they want a style, and then get mad when someone says: your hair is damaged.
I remember watching you react to this... and its still messy today as it was 2 years ago. I don't get why people talk about how the stylist had an attitude when she just told her her capabilities and Lex's best options in a consultation. I think we all need to re-examine service work to not expect people to do everything with a smile. The stylist didn't do anything wrong but it was fucked up that Lex went back on blurring that woman's face out her video, for what?
This is a classic case of "you can dish it out, but can't take it." She acted like a spoiled brat in the video and a damsel in distress on the live with you. Glad you call her out on her bs.
Funny how she kept mentioning microaggressions when speaking about the stylist, who never mentioned anything about her skin color or the texture of her hair, which was straight mind you. However, she started the live with you by asking about your pronouns. Clearly that was a micro aggression towards you but she didn't recognize that, how woke of her. If anybody was racist it was her. Because the stylist was older and white everything the she said was interpreted as racist. Her own bigotry and desire to be a victim made it impossible for her to comprehend that the stylist was simply explaining the effects of what would happen if she got her bleached hair dyed dark brown. Which anyone would think that's what she wanted to do because she kept pointing to the roots of her hair which was dark brown. Bringing up her how she supports BLM had nothing to do with the situation with the stylist and everything to do with why she reacted to the situation the way she did.
White people aren't oppressed therefore can't experience racism. But the girl went to this appointment with evil in her heart. She wanted problems and created them. She is being a horrible person but not racist
@@adrenalineliberation Respectfully, anybody can be oppressed. Treating someone ugly is treating some one ugly. You can play the woke word game if you want to, but she was acting this way because of race. It really does not matter what ism you want to call it her behavior was ugly and uncalled for. She clearly want victim clout. With that being said, no one said she oppressed the woman in this situation. And racism in single person is a character fault that makes it human behavior. All of us are human. But I do understand your view I just think it is a way to justify or down play the unkind behavior based on the race.
She knew what she was doing from the beginning. She says she didn’t tell her viewers to leave negative reviews but she has to know that accusing the stylist of racism was going to rile some people up. At the end of the day, if she didn’t like her experience because there was a communication between her and the stylist, thats fine. To me she completely blew the whole thing way out of proportion.
I know this is over with...dead and done. But, looking at this recap...I definitely can see that Lex should have just kept it 100%. She was absolutely trying to stir up drama at these low rated businesses to get views. This is why Narada, I vibe with you. I remember seeing her video, randomly...before someone requested it on your live stream. And I was annoyed at how she was acting. Plus, you just stated your honest discernful opinions and educational commentary on what was shown on her video. You never manipulated her or aggressively came at her. She was just xtra and she knew it.😣😣
This was my first time seeing this one and wow, she reminded me why i avoided channels like this. IMO, her intentions were disingenuous from the start and was just upset that you and everyone else in the chat saw it for what it was. Plus, i had to look-up and read on One-party consent (i mean i paused your video to go study it and EVERYTHING, cause i assumed that all states had to be two party consensual when it came to recording) and even SHE, from my understanding of recording consent in the state of Nevada, used a very surface based interpretation of consent when in comes to recording another person...particularly with a wired device (which under their law, includes wireless devices, as it has the ability to transfer and upload data). That explains alot now that i read in the comments where you stated that she was being hit with litigation...makes perfect sense, lol This was frustrating to watch someone be so manipulative and i can imagine how frustrating it was to actually have a conversation with this chic. The pronoun mess was unnecessary and had NOTHING to do with the topic of the live. I know this was an old video, but as someone who was seeing it for the first time, even I saw that the stylist was providing a normal consultation ESPECIALLY after trying to understand what color this woman actually wanted. I like this series! It's a fun time and opens the door for good conversations. Great job as always, Narada!
One thing I think people forget it's that time is money. The stylist was quickly trying to get to the point especially since it seemed implausible to begin with.
Omg. Wow. I'm half hour through... this immature girl is giving spoiled, cheapskate vibes. Sad that she was so intent on ruining someone's business once she knew she couldn't get what she wanted. Whoever did not agree with you as the expert Narada seriously need their heads testing. Smh 🙄
Ugh I couldn’t stand this girl. Your commentary on the original video made her feel guilty and instead of just owning that she kept getting defensive and projecting her feelings about what she did to that stylist onto you. A lot of these RUclipsrs and influencers don’t create real content. They just create little safe spaces on the internet for them to be in their own echo chamber and have people heap praise on them for doing nothing.
Lol I remember this. All her RUclips videos was her being rude and trying to put stylists on blast. She ended up deleting all her videos and understanding that she was destroying businesses
I'm annoyed wit the gender question cause it's too much extra deflection. If he had on a wig or nail color n spoke more fem I'd get the question but ur a gay MAN. That is all. U old school n she deflecting 🤣🤣🤣 she super petty
Right. And that is definitely worth noting because during those times everyone was extra tense, naturally. I’m on the part where you and her go live. There are several manipulative tactics that she’s using to distort how the interaction is perceived. One thing that made me swiftly irate is she generated all this outrage over “blatant racism” which 1. Wasn’t blatant and 2. During a time when much more pressing race related matters were happening. She knows and we know that she was generating outrage. I commend you for calling it like it is. Especially because I feel like people think that once someone says something is racist it automatically becomes fact and we can’t dissect or interrogate that assertion. Overall I just find her intellectually dishonest and using her platform in poor taste to manufacture conflict and outrage.
I wanna comment in my mother tongue because my English bundles won't be able to express how mad this girl made me, but I'm going to stick to the guidelines 😂😭
Wow she just wont take responsibility for here actions 🙄. Plus when the stylist went for her camera im pretty sure she pushed the woman's hands away and told her not to touch her camera.....
Wow that girl quite literally is insane and I avoid people like that heavy. My mom is the same way. They’re unable to self reflect, can’t be unbiased, can never be in the wrong, and it’s hard for them to consider someone else’s perspective and feelings, they don’t exist to them. She didn’t like how she was “treated” but did the same thing to the lady who really didn’t deserve that. A lot of these influencers love to deflect and cause drama and it’s so sad cause there are babies watching them, picking up on that and everyone isn’t gonna grow up to realize how it’s wrong. Women can get away with a lot too and I don’t like crying wolf about racism and stereotypes. She really did try to play in your face with the whole pronoun situation. She’s nice nasty and she doesn’t think other people can see it. After asking once and seeing you’re uncomfortable or don’t care to share, she could’ve asked you to correct her if she’s wrong and continued or just say your name. There wasn’t any time really she would need to say a pronoun like that unless she talkin to the comments so it made no sense. If I would’ve known growing up that these RUclips personalities/gurus were just that, vloggers, it would’ve saved me a whole lot of confusion and disappointment. They’re not experts or professional stylists and what they say and do has to be taken with a grain of salt, and researched. From watching you, I’m becoming more aware of who I watch and what they say and do because you can unknowingly adopt their mindset and whatever they got goin on. The blind following is insane. You’re right tho, she’s the type to lie on someone and create a whole scenario from distorted and misinterpreted facts, memories, and feelings. She contradicted herself so many times, even back to back at some points. This made my head hurt 😂
Imagine if the stylist had made a RUclips video and gave her version of it. Lex’s attitude and the camera being in my face like that would have made me so tense and uncomfortable if I was in her shoes. #messy
Wow, you were really fair with letting her talk more than she let you do so. She's using a lot of manipulative tactics in this discussion. I was literally reacting at the same time as you, 😆.
Her argument about the stylist's consent to being recorded, at first, falls apart when you change the situation to something such as s*xual ass*ult. Additionally, disregarding the prerequisite of blurring the stylist's face is a gross oversight on her part
Narada I have to say thank you for all that you do. Since watching your videos/ livestreams I’ve learned a lot and know what questions to ask and not have these unrealistic expectations for my hair when trying to get a particular style. With this woman she really irked my soul the minute you called her out on her bullshit she started back peddling, and she tried it with that pro noun thing her them fucked up teeth her teeth look like broken peppermint candy.
Exactly! She and her microaggression meter went in there in search of a viral moment. She ended up getting more than she bargained for when her video landed on Narada's radar. 😂
I remember this steam also and honestly after this and narada talking to her on the live she deleted all her videos and never made that content again 😭😭
I know exactly what it is people want everything to be racist. So if the stylist says anything not agreeing with the client it’s because she doesn’t want to do ethic hair. A degree in spinning the truth
That hairstylist was being concerned, made sure the client was aware of the risks. Basically warned her about the consequences, before starting her hair and the style ending up not being what she wanted. The stylist was totally ok. The girl went to one of the “cheapest” salon, already made a comment about only one client being there. Her mind was already made up. So her energy was off before going to the salon 🤷♀️
I know it’s been a year and even longer since this entire situation occurred (new subscriber) but I remember when this happened. Her video was recommended to me and even back then I thought this was crazy cos if anyone knows anything abt color, they know that the more the hair is processed the harder it is to re-color. There are some stylists who refuse to color color treated hair that they didn’t do. This girl is the DEFINITION of nice nasty smh. She was dead wrong and didn’t realize what she was starting. Glad Narada gathered her.
Yooo the fact that she deleted the post but you still had a screenshot is everything lmfaooo 😂 btw they always delete stuff when they’re in the wrong…. I never was a fan of Caramel Karen…☕️ I love you but I don’t even care to listen to her try and talk on live with you. She can’t take what she dishes out. PERIOD DROPS MIC. *plays worlds smallest violin for her while she talks*** ohhh and I wanted to come through the screen on her when she asked about what pronoun you want to be identified with… like Wdf
The stylist was being professional. She told her the truth. Nothing was wrong with her tone. She gave good advice. I feel like this woman was purposely trying to confuse the stylist. She knew what she was doing when she did not blur out the woman's face. The owner should sue. She is entitled and messy. Did the dude in her comments call her a black woman? She completely understood what the stylist was talking about regarding the bleach. She was creating drama. Her footage was obviously edited. I didn't pick up on the racism. She knew how to influence and to use the dog whistle to attack the business. I noticed that she never answered the questions directly. I am big on black men who don't protect black women. This is not that situation. It is almost like she is trying to show herself as a victim. She even used the black women to gain sympathy. This didn't involve race. She thought that she could use manipulation with her followers during the live so they would attack you. What she didn't realize is she had the wrong one.
That stylist was direct and some people find it difficult to accept directness. IMO, the stylist was correct but she thought she was going to get this fabulous color for the low low. People want what they want and when we, as stylist, explain the challenges and consequences of said service, some don't want to hear and we're being condescending and rude. She was being condescending and rude by shoving the camera in her face when she said she didn't want to be filmed. I thought she was being antagonizing throughout the entire video. As someone who majored in public relations, she's well equipped with how to spin a narrative. I think you handled the live very well and professionally.
This whole thing is a mess! When it was time for the live I was completely over it. All I was hearing from her was "I did this" and "I do that" like it was okay for her to treat the stylist the way she did was because she is white. Her comment like she is doing black stylist and companies a favor by not shining a negative light on them. I felt like she thought it was okay to post the lady because she felt like she was being racist towards her. If you was dealing with BLM during the time...why go to a salon not in the black community.? I feel like she initially went to this salon just to potentially get this kind of content. Also, if she was treated so bad why not file a lawsuit against the salon or stylist. This was all for clicks at the end of the day! I am happy you called her out on ALL of it. And you pointed out that they didn't have bad rating until her followers went to their profile. And if she wanted to give them a chance, why not schedule for a real service instead of buying a Groupon. Again, thank you so much for doing these videos! Accountability is key! I'm a new subby btw 😍
AHG I’m a new subbie been lurking at your content for a few years now and at 1:20:15 you’re absolutely right. They love using that Misandry as a manipulative tactic to dismiss what you’re saying. She’s obviously wrong and she will not admit it. No accountability whatsoever from her. I’m rolling my eyes: had to give you the views but very hard video to watch because of her nonsense
Funny how she know the laws to recording and use them to violet someone else's right to privacy but don't know the fair use laws that your video falls under to use her clips.
I remember this. I remember leaving a google review calling her out lmao. The stylist does seem kinda rude but i think its because she told her she didnt want the camera on and she did it anyway. Edit: after watching this all again I can see where lex was coming from a lil bit. the stylist used words and phrases like “not very smart”, “grizzly” and “ugly”. This would annoy the hell out of me lol. She should have used more descriptive words and not so negative. She just expressed herself very poorly and very negatively. The way Narada described the situation was perfect - easy to understand without using words with such negative connotations. Nobody wants to hear the word ugly when theyre sitting in a salon chair lol. As a black woman those words would trigger me. Personally I dont like that ladys vibe and I would have politely left. That being said, Lex did not tell her what she wanted properly, she continued to film the stylist and invade her privacy. Once the confusion was resolved there shouldnt have been any issues but Lex instigated a whole situation for no reason. And she did it for views.
@@AfrikanHairGod this is true. We dont know what that lady was going through during covid and this “influencer” comes in trying to use her for content and giving her confusing requests 😒
I’m going to be honest - her live with you was dangerous. Makes me wonder how her real life dynamics are. If she can’t handle someone reviewing a video she publicly posted - then the creator life ain’t for you. You really have no business influencing anyone acting this way. Aside from the gaslighting and her rewriting history, what she did was called word salad. Talking in circles to confuse you, in hopes you’ll believe her and just agree. But you clocked each attempt. She HATED that you weren’t budging - which is why she then became more rude and dismissive. Only issue is that the manipulation is exhausting. I hope she grows up and seeks therapy.
Unpopular opinion but I kinda get why people thought the stylist was spicy too. I don't think eye rolling and eyebrows rising add anything to the information she's trying to give . There are honest answers and honest answers with a touch of judgement and this is what I can sense. Someone said that they doesn't understand why people don't like blunt answer because people don't have time to baby you... Well, it is called social abilities. You can give the same information with several body languages. It's not about sugar coating things it's more about body language. If this is how a consultation is going to be I understand why people don't like going at the salon. I don't want no one eye rolling me or sighing because I have breakage and the style I want does not suit me. You can explain things with honesty and benevolence. It's possible, I just experienced it this morning , when I went to a Lazer hair removal center and they were very honest with me about the fact that my skin in dark and it may affect the results and I signed the paper. They were nothing like this stylist. My different doctors also explain in very honest way and none of them act like that.
So I went and reviewed the video and I don't see any of that. I really honestly think that you are projecting a little bit and that is just my own opinion. I'm gonna just leave this where it's at because honestly I think if I try to push my opinion any more on anyone else it will just come off defensive and a little relentless. You just may not be suitable for a salon consultation if you are bothered by someone raising an eyebrow in disbelief when you assure them that you do something that they know isn't the case. I do this all the time during consultations when people tell me they don't have a relaxer in their hair and I can literally smell the chemicals when I wet their hair at the shampoo bowl. Or when people have heat damage and they swear they never used heat when they get their hair styled. It's not necessarily judgements sometimes it's hearing something that you don't really expect to hear.
@@AfrikanHairGod Maybe I'm projecting, but I think some people sense the same thing so it may be different perception. In your example I can understand, why you would have that expression with a client who obviously lie about their hair history. I'm don't want to lie during consultations because I know it could be detrimental to my hair, so I would be completely transparent. I never had a problem with other professionals as well. They are very honest and I am too. However, in this particular video I feel both parties are to be taken accountable. Obviously the client is rude and should not be filming without consent. But a the beginning of the video there is a moment when the stylist is raising her eyebrows, and have a little bit of exasperation even before the client start acting weird. It's okay if I'm not suitable to consultations, I just need to feel like a can be vulnerable because when you go to the stylist you usually not looking at your best, your breakage and all your color damage is displayed so it's not always a comfortable situation, so this is why I really hoped that people would show benevolence while being honest.
@@LoXena she could be Assessing the situation and considering that this may not be a simple service the way that she initially thought. She even said and expressed that at the beginning of the consultation but I think to try and emphasize and magnify that to make it be a fault of the stylist is a little bit unfair. Despite her underlying hesitations she really did try to make the best out of the situation and the service and to be scrutinized despite that is rather unfair. It's like she's damned if she do the service and damned if she don't. Stylists are often backed in this corner often from people that don't even patron salons regularly.
This time, sorry Mr.Narada, I can’t really agree with you. She definitely has some blame in this situation(she definitely should have stopped recording once the lady asked her and blurred her face like she promised in the beginning) but overall I definitely think the stylist has the majority of the blame because she is the professional and as the girl said she told them twice(once in her description if what she wanted done and once when she got there) that she wanted burgundy hair so this whole discussion of trying to darken bleached hair should never have happened if the the client already told them she wanted to dye her hair burgundy from the beginning. Also the stylist saying that she threatened her when she didn’t was also uncalled for because that could have definitely have ended up with her being arrested or worse if the stylist decided to push the issue.
You are commenting on a situation that you don't really know. We weren't there. We only saw what she put out there. We don't know if she actually threatened her or not. Lex's original video was titled "it got physical" so we are getting mixed messages from someone that has already proven that she's not forthcoming or trust worthy. Why should we take her word for face value? I don't believe her. So just going based on what I saw in the video, I'm doubling down on my stance.
@@AfrikanHairGod oh that’s fine, we’re just at agree to disagree which will never stop me from watching your Crowdcast lives(total highlight of my Thursdays). Also based on the barrenness of her RUclips channel today, I feel like we’re discussing a moot point lol. One other thing is that you said that anyone who didn’t like how the stylist talked the girl couldn’t go to you is weird to me because you talked to me way better than the stylist talked to her even if you told me that my hair was too short for the style I was trying to get🤣🤣.
@@Mimi-zd8ud well honestly, I guess you got lucky with me or maybe our consultation didn't strike a nerve with you because you are familiar with me and my tone. The stylist did nothing wrong, so if you (or anyone else) think the way she addressed her was offensive, then anyone that feels that way would not be very suitable at my salon where we welcome and encourage open and direct communication without taking things too personally. I'm not for everyone and if someone is going to be offended because my tone isn't perfect then it's going to be a bad situation that I don't want to deal with and that I don't want to put them thru. I want clients that are going to appreciate me cutting thru the fluff and being open and direct with them. It's just a conflict of interest. I would rather not deal with people making my job harder than it needs to be especially when I'm literally just trying to look out for your best interests the same way that she was with Lex. She wasn't rude, judgemental, condensending, or exhibiting micro aggressions. She was just trying to do her job and keep a situation from going bad and keep her from getting a bad hair color. If you don't know or understand the science of hair color you won't be able to understand why she was addressing her the way that she was, stating the things that she was saying, or conducting the consultation the way that she was. Every reason that you gave in support of Lex's argument with the stylist is literally everything that came out of her mouth and nothing that we physically saw (she also said over and over that she blurred her face when clearly she didn't). If we used that same logic with the way she framed and made that Instagram post about me, you would think the same way as her followers did when they came on and berated me just for standing up for what was right. You can disagree with me but I know deep down in my heart and soul that this was nothing more than a miscommunication that Lex took advantage of and manipulated to be spiteful and malicious to that woman and their salon. I cannot and will not try to justify or rationalize that type of loathsome behavior.
She emphasized it’s bleached because the people who bleached it all fucked up didn’t explain the process, or you didn’t listen😂 Asian lady wanted you to hurry up and buy
Thank you! It was so exhausting trying to convince people that she was just trying to do her job. I think RUclips salon visits has created unrealistic expectations with going to a stylist...
I remember this stream - she started out saying she was going to the worse rated or cheapest salon she obviously is going in to cause trouble for views. RUclips really need to look into holding content creators to a code of conduct because people are really out here bothering people in the community for views.
Omg yessss! So true!
She appears to be the WORST type of client.
Carmel Karen needs to sit down somewhere.
Agreed.
Right like you can’t just put a color on top of a color
You bleached your hair so pigment is taken out
She told her what it was
I’m so confused as to why people thought the woman was too blunt… and this is coming from a sensitive person.
I'm sorry I don't want to invalidate people's opinions but I'm just not gonna accept that at all.
I can’t believe we live in a society where being recorded without “consent” is the norm. I absolutely hate having my picture taken or being recorded & people think I’m annoying for dodging cameras. But DAMN I don’t want to be recorded!!! Don’t I have that right🤷🏽♀️
like honestly
And it’s illegal in some states to record people without consent.
If I was that stylist I would’ve created a defamation case against her.
I agree.
You have real empathy AHG. You saw yourself in that stylist regardless of skin color, age etc. She didn’t deserve to be put on blast like that. It was a misunderstanding.
Thank you!
Thank you for the update, I think you handled this very well, this was great. 😂😂
Thank you so much!
@@AfrikanHairGod you’re welcome ☺️
She even tried to do it with me and make it some aggressive black man trope.
Geesh. If someone tells you they can't do something, why not believe them?
Naw you gonna do my color anyway! 😂
Yep. She really does talk about racism like she read a Racism 101 book. Mad weird.
🤭👀🤭
The stylist wasn't rude or blunt. She was just giving her professional opinion based on her knowledge and wasn't about to be bullied into messing up her hair. I do hair n women will try n force somethin that u kno wont work well for them in the end. Some of yall so sensitive cause the girl in the seat was annoying n trolling from start to finish
Yeah she tried it from the jump
Asking about some damn pronouns.
Like how you mad the stylist is trying to ensure you don’t go bald?
businesses can refuse services as well. I would of refused her immediately.
She cut you off so many times but when you interrupted her it’s “let me finish” okay sis 🙄
Right so aggressive
Never trust someone who describes themselves as “nice.”
I remember this stream. What’s really sad it that the reviews based on her video is going to effect their business. So messed up!
When they both got on live... I laugh till I got abs & it was only 5 minutes in🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭
She knew what she was doing from the beginning.
She was just xtra and she knew it.😣😣
One party can consent, but the other party doesn't have to stick around.
True.😅
That explains alot now that i read in the comments where you stated that she was being hit with litigation...makes perfect sense, lol
This was frustrating to watch someone be so manipulative and i can imagine how frustrating it was to actually have a conversation with this chic.
Thank you!
Smh 🙄
She definitely woulda left my salon with that colour on top her head lmfaoo
Ugh I couldn’t stand this girl. Your commentary on the original video made her feel guilty and instead of just owning that she kept getting defensive and projecting her feelings about what she did to that stylist onto you.
A lot of these RUclipsrs and influencers don’t create real content. They just create little safe spaces on the internet for them to be in their own echo chamber and have people heap praise on them for doing nothing.
Every other second it’s “tearing people down” lmao it’s giving white mom 🙄😂
The different voices you make when reading other people’s comments & dms has me weak! 😂😂
Lol I remember this. All her RUclips videos was her being rude and trying to put stylists on blast. She ended up deleting all her videos and understanding that she was destroying businesses
No she was facing litigation if she didn't remove her content. She knew what she was doing but she didn't care
@@AfrikanHairGod ohhh that would explain it haha she had other videos causing a whole mess in a nail salon and blow dry bar if I remember correctly
I'm annoyed wit the gender question cause it's too much extra deflection. If he had on a wig or nail color n spoke more fem I'd get the question but ur a gay MAN. That is all. U old school n she deflecting 🤣🤣🤣 she super petty
The stylist probably didn’t want it recorded because she knew the result wouldn’t be exemplar of her work.
I think she could sense that this girl was looking for a moment. She was doing all is this during the scary rona times for no reason.
When she pointed to her hair she was pointing to her natural hair color
Wow she just wont take responsibility for here actions 🙄.
Plus when the stylist went for her camera im pretty sure she pushed the woman's hands away and told her not to touch her camera.....
Right she cut a lot at that part in the video too. Then she labeled the title of the video "it got physical" so which is it?
I love you Narada! When she asked what gender you go by I spit my coffee out!! That was straight up shade she knows what gender you are smh!
I completely agree thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts
"its called microagressions with one G" Im deceased 😆
"biotches be lyinggggg" 🤣🤣🤣, where are you going, it's the coronaaaaaaa.
I remember this one. She was all the way wrong in this one. Like if someone doesn’t want to be recorded then cut the camera off. Period.
She asked your pronouns?!😂😂😂😂😂 Chile. She’s a “nasty nice” person. I hope she has changed since this whole debaucle.
Why was she up in a WW's shop IN THE FIRST PLACE?! Up in there trying to get a double process for $40...BFFR!😒
Exactly! She and her microaggression meter went in there in search of a viral moment. She ended up getting more than she bargained for when her video landed on Narada's radar. 😂
She really thought she ate that.
I remember this steam also and honestly after this and narada talking to her on the live she deleted all her videos and never made that content again 😭😭
Oooooh. That’s what I like to hear. ❤
You were having too much fun with your twin 😂😂😂😂
I love twin moments with past rada lol
People are WAY too sensitive
I know exactly what it is people want everything to be racist. So if the stylist says anything not agreeing with the client it’s because she doesn’t want to do ethic hair. A degree in spinning the truth
That's definitely wyte mama vibes.😬
That hairstylist was being concerned, made sure the client was aware of the risks. Basically warned her about the consequences, before starting her hair and the style ending up not being what she wanted. The stylist was totally ok. The girl went to one of the “cheapest” salon, already made a comment about only one client being there. Her mind was already made up. So her energy was off before going to the salon 🤷♀️
I rather have a hairstylist telling me I can’t do this/that or asking me a bunch of question, then just take my money and doing whatever to my hair …
With the whole gender thing she was trying to be slick with her rudeness with the pronouns
It’s interesting that all of her videos were taken down🤣
Soon after this situation she was forced to take them down due to possible litigation.

PERIOD DROPS MIC. *plays worlds smallest violin for her while she talks*** ohhh and I wanted to come through the screen on her when she asked about what pronoun you want to be identified with… like Wdf
That part!
I remember this. What ever happened to her?
Thank you!
She wanted A color corrected service for $40 ??? Lmfaooooooooo she cray cray

"She's that b****...! LOL
Whew this series is better than love and hip hop 😂

Naw i completely agree with you 😂
This whole thing is a mess!
I remember this it was so annoying! And you're face when she asked your pronouns had me cackling.
Lex was a hot mess and she knows it this is why she hasn’t lasted on RUclips.
Yes.. Thank you so much! 🙏❤️🌹
Funny how she know the laws to recording and use them to violet someone else's right to privacy but don't know the fair use laws that your video falls under to use her clips.
Damn they stalked your Instagram
Probably cuz she was doing extra shit during covid... Ppl was just trying to do what they had to just to get by during slow and hard times
@@AfrikanHairGod this is true. We dont know what that lady was going through during covid and this “influencer” comes in trying to use her for content and giving her confusing requests 😒
Well done! She should’ve been more clear. I miss your watch parties on RUclips. 😢
Me too!😢😢😢😢
She started off the live trying to play in your face...
I'm glad someone caught it. She wanted to manipulate me into a reaction so she could say that I'm being hostile to her
My issue is why are you calling her a B? I think as a man that's wrong to talk about a woman that way.
Perhaps you shouldn't watch then. I call everyone bitches
Lex videos kinda was messy
It's possible, I just experienced it this morning ,
when I went to a Lazer hair removal center and they were very honest with me about the fact that my skin in dark and it may affect the results and I signed the paper.
She talked crazy to the lady, then you, about taking the video down😂
She emphasized it’s bleached because the people who bleached it all fucked up didn’t explain the process, or you didn’t listen😂 Asian lady wanted you to hurry up and buy
I know this is old, but I don’t understand why they were saying the stylist was being rude in the beginning. 🫤
Thank you! It was so exhausting trying to convince people that she was just trying to do her job. I think RUclips salon visits has created unrealistic expectations with going to a stylist...
@@AfrikanHairGod I agree, and I love the way you are handling this RUclipsr
