Yes theres just so many I dont know where to start. I really have been hoping for any content on Viktor. I really dont understand when to pick him over other mages like Syndra for example. finally a detailed s14 guide. I have almost 200k mastery on this champion across multiple accounts but this is the first season Ive actually decided to onetrick her.
Have been a very casual Akali player since season 2, when i started playing League, which was sometime after Diana was released and before Rengar whom came afterwards and 12 years later of playing on and off, I finally decided to actually try and improve for once in my career and with my favourite mid laner. Slowly trying to drill the drills (idk if i view that as a pun or nah xD) into my head and muscle memory. This is gonna be one hell of a ride.
I want to add that at 1:20:07 faker autos the middle caster also so that all caster minions target one melee. This makes it so that katarina cannot q to cs all three melees

Really good guide, after watching it instatly had few solid games. The only thing I don't agree with is placing Crime City Akali into "Don't" category, it's sooo good. The Q animation is insane, it has this cool sound efects when the daggers hit the groud. Like, it sounds very realistic. DRX Akali is not that great imo, the R2 animation appears slower than on other skins. It's probably just visual, but still, in other skins her R2 looks almost like a blink, in DRX u can almost predict it. My favourite are probably Infernal / Crime city (recommend green chroma) and Star Guardian (blue chroma). Star Guardian is so nice because of how she walks / runs and also the passive proc + q - passive proc + q - etc looks really smooth ( i guess because of the walking animation ). I remember even Bwipo mentioned Crime City is one of the best Akali skins. About Coven, it's nice with the white (Destined) chroma ( i don't remember how I got it, but I don't think you can buy it, perhaps with some bundle ). Great guide anyway, I went from having very flippy games to more stable, playing around my ult and reducing the number of random fights I take when I don't have a spike. It's still a lot of work to improve, but I enjoy playing akali so it's fine. Don''t think I'll exit emerald this season, but perhaps next if I keep at it. GGs!
35:00 one thing I think it's not said is that alkalis q has slightly longer range on the edges, so from blue side if you throw it aiming for the edge of it you get insta passive without even walking

I'll be updating this comment as i watch the video to point out stuff 1: In the Electrocute Setup the best "Hunter" rune is Relentless Hunter. Ult Hunter on Akali isn't too good since her ult has already pretty high uptime Meanwhile Relentless hunter helps a lot with roaming around, especially if you don't run TP, which you often wont, in favour of ignite, if you go for the turbo lane-stomping setup that is Electrocute page. 2. As you said, Akali doesn't generally take Tabis, as Shroud can take care of AAs already. Notable exception to this, is Toplane when Laning into Riven. As Tabis absolutely cuck her They're good because Riven can damage Akali fairly easily in Shroud, since 80% of her kit is AOE damage. Riven also suffers heavily from even a bit of Armor, since she's pure Physical Damage and has no innate Pen. The Tabi passive also heavily reduces her passive Damage. All of these things combined, make it much harder for Riven to quickly burst you down to 30% HP and finish you off with her R2. 3. All-In Combo Remember, Akali's E and R, will usually both Spawn and Proc the passive by themselves, as the dash will push Akali out of the Ring. For example, in you All-In on Rumble, you Q and then walk back to pick up Passive and then R1. That's not necessary. If you Q>R1, the R1 will bring Akali out of the Ring or at the least at the very edge, and proc the passive anyways, making for a much faster and smoother combo, as walking backwards both slows the combo down and gives time to the enemy to react if the have the tools to.
@@CoachMysterias I also agree I always preferred relentless, but ime it caters more to an early roamer playstyle to benefit from the bonus as early as possible to get those stacks. Always fun zooming around on her :) Ult hunter could be better in the solo lane maybe. Also think it could be worth mentioning taste of blood into melee matchups since it's pretty free procs. Even ingenious hunter is viable if you anticipate an early zhonyas but more of a 4fun rune def weaker than the other two mentioned.

Why does building Hextech alternator first reach spikes sooner? Aren't you building sorcs after anyway? Or did you mean it helps because the AP helps farming?
Is it every worth taking ignite? Thinking it is probably necessary into sylas or swain, and in those circumstances do you opt for flash or tp secondary.
Define the teamfight build for my by: What scenario counts more toward the games where you want to build it over lich based assassin itemisation? Its based on how the teamcomps or the early skirmishes look like before or around/bit after 1st recall ?
Mainly games in which the enemies have tanky members that we cant assassinate in the sidelane OR games in which your teammates want to be playing around grouped fights and are too vulnerable to you being on the sidelane vs hard engage. enemy team ahs 2 or more tanky - ish members are usually enough for me to instantly go that build

@@honorducky Well for gold you definitely have a taste of the harder champs in the game :P . I do think for gold a champ like Akali should be doable as long as you understand shes going to be very hard. Otherwise i think asol is a very solid option overall
I play Akali, Yone, malz/asol, and tried naafiri...since Yone and even more Akali requieres so much time I choosed easy champions that do other things/type of damage to compliment that...also if they take anti jumpers like Taliyah or vex...as a solid BRONZE player I think it's a solid pool.
As a bronze player I agree to disagree...even if she is mechanicly hard you can get good at her if you almost one trick her ...and I find it really easy to stomp cause my enemies are bronze too...I watch lots of content and I expect them to zone, auto, harass me, space, tether, etc...and they never do, so easy to capitalize on mistakes, used to take fleet, but is so unnecessary, most of the times get great results even with electrocute because of that.
Do you have any tips for enemies that can neutralise lane easily and have better wave clear then you do. I feel like i want to roam to do something and get the snowball going but if the roam doesn’t work out you lose so much for it.
What do you think aboiut always running conqueror on Akali? I always take conqueror on Akali on all my games, and so far it works really good, I just take to or ignite depending on the match up.
i think in higher elos you need fleet vs ranged since a lot of enemies will know how to space better and fleet helps massively with that. but otherwise conq is good!

imo lich bane is not a good item on akali, storm surge is miles btter. Lich bane can be decent espeically in ad matchups but just think theres better opts.
Both items are built for the same reason. Damage. The difference is that one actually scales in late game too and it's all in all more consistent and works with akali well. Stormsurge is bad

i still recommend a lich bane into SFf - > rabadons/ void/ zhonyas depending on what you need in the game

How about a short update to this vid after the rune adjustments and Akali nerfs? I'm seeing more hybrid and AD builds emerging as well.
Currently i recommend Electrocute into resolve tree with a lich bane + protobelt build as standard :)

With alternator you have the option skipping t2 boots and just getting t1 boots if you want the lich spike sooner

Hmmm i think its only done because of eclipse being too strong i think its a short term thing and dont really recommend

does r1 into q only work if you are not right on top of them? It seems that you can't actually cast any abilities until r1 ends?

I recommend checking out the E usage backwards in the trading pattern section that combo works wonders vs those champs
