I'm utterly convinced that PAC didn't know he was about to lose until the score screen came up. When he said "LOSER" he thought he was winning.
Though he could spell loser, so that puts him above most ladder ragers...
This is what I believe too. If he knew it was game over upon losing buildings he would've hid a probe and built a nexus. The fact he didn't means he probably didn't know.

I love how there are 8 cannons and it would still be perfectly possible for 6 or 7 roaches to run in and kill all the probes and we'd probably lose one roach

Ay, as a french canadian myself, I am fairly sure that he's from France and not Canada. These are clearly "France's" insults, and a reference to a certain russian ruler. Quebec's ones are a lot more.... colorful and Church-related.
However, you would be right in some aspect as poutine (the dish) is quite "salty". :D
Mcmuffin is right, our insults are way more well though than those primitive mum and others basic jokes.
Poutine also happens to be the french spelling for Putin. In context, that's more likely what they meant

Maybe these protoss came from something like Age of Empires, where the average game is like 30-60 minutes, so the concept of an average game lasting 10-20 is just something that isn't clicking.
Thats still wholy on him tho. Ive never played any Starcraft and my favorite RTS is Age of Empires 2 and I understand that in Stacraft you wall less and scout more.

I think when he said POUTINE, it might have been a mis-spelling of Putin.
It's not misspelled, just French. The French transliteration of Путин is "Poutine".

You can come up with some mapping between characters and simply replace each character from Cyrillic by the equivalent you've chosen from Latin. This is called transliteration. And for names it is usually the pronunciation that matters.

You know, I watched countless hours of SC2 and probably still couldn't do much better than the angry protoss. I'd probably have a somewhat better strategy, but it mechanically overwhelms me to the point where I just sit there and nothing happens the way I want it to.

Its just practice like anything, eventually your openers become like auto-pilot and everything kinda flows. Its like learning a tune on a piano in a way, you learn a tune but when you're bored or the need arises you put your own spins on it by using different keys. I went from Bronze to Diamond one season just by playing 25-30 games a week for about a month.

You can get an animal which is of a different breed from the mother, if the father is off a different breed. Usually called half breeds or mixed race, and often with technical names such as mule or hinny.

Mules and hinnies are an example of an animal where the offspring are not the same species as the parents (mules have donkey fathers and horse mothers, while hinnies are the reverse)
Ligers, tigons, and mules come to mind as separate breeds from their mothers. Also, cuckoo's and other brood parasites.

yeah, in the first one, protoss would be me if I'd jump into multi straight after the campaign, since this is the classic campaign play style. Beautiful defense, with proper batteries, preeetty sim city, since it's fun in campaign

I think the biggest insult was that he was talking to him in French, not what he said lol.
That and it doesn't help that Starcraft 2 has actively punished turtlers through updates (nerfing things to weaken turtling, forcing them to expand more frequently so they have to space them out, etc). The toss player is definitely overdoing the base defenses, I agree.

Okay PiG, I'd like to point out some discrepancy with your MMR guessing.
I'm not a good player by any means. But I do Bronze to GM strats, I can manage 65-75 APM with Terran at Silver 1. And that was with an MMR of just over 2000. So when the games are of terrible play and you say it could be 2200 MMR, that makes me feel really bad.
First one: I think the quality of the salty meltdown would have been ever greater, had the zerg army visited the two secret bases after the first attack :D

Pad plays exactly like how every opponent I used to play when I was under plat lol. Always hidden bases and straight to end game units. They trained me to take the advice of "if he's doing weird shit just kill him"

I got shunted into playing protos in my group (3ppl including me), but I love Zergs offensive speed (which I got to play eventually).
We were all new, but me with the knowledge from watching pros. Lets just say in my first game, my "rush" at 5 minutes with 20 stalkers annihilated my group

Silver league cannons are taught by playing the CPU. If you don't put cannons there, the CPU will just jump in on any edge you don't protect. Goes back to SC1.

Different cat species can breed in captivity and as result they will have hybrid kittens. (Tiger and lion for example) So there is a way to be a different breed then your mother.

Yes the french come from a long heritage of looking down upon french canadians, but they mostly have a culture where you ascend by pushing others down. Most french moving to Québec to study are open minded and feel very welcomed into a culture of humility rather than humiliation.

I meet these amazing Protoss players in Plat team games fairly often. Ton of cannons before even taking a second base. Getting a teammate like that is when I know game is gonna go great. I lost patience with one of them couple of days ago and tried to explain that this is stupid, all I got in response was "stfu loser". :D
How is it a Plat team game when your teammate is a silver at best?
@@markpayton3895 How the fuck should I know? Only that's about the majority of protosses I've met playing public 3v3s in Plat, close to Diamond actually as its over 3k MMR. I decided to stop any attempts to play with pubs few days ago because of shit like that, had enough. Plenty of idiot terrans who are not aware they can make a second base too, but at least those guys make some units. I can only assume people who play 3v3s have no clue when their build is garbage and always just blame teammates for losses.

Silver- Silver
Gold- no idea, never seen gold players before
Plat- same thing
Diamond- Plat
M3- bronze 3 to silver 2

Animal Hybrids would be an exception to being same species. Examples are Liger or a Mule.
I think a donkey and a horse can create a offspring that does not count as the same species.
Not every parent is the same species as the offspring. An obvious example is a mule which comes from the mating of a donkey and a horse. Also, if you use breed specifically instead of species there are even more examples. Two dogs of different breeds mating will produce a mut or a new breed.
I love the fact that pad in the 1st replay literally called him hilter and then was surprised he beat a 9-y old in a video game. The last sentence with of your bread means sth like you suck at your fing race or sth like that. But lol, of course hilter could beat a child in a war game lol

We used to play every game with the rule no attacking for 20 minutes. So any attack that comes before both players are at full supply tier 3 units is a rush. That's why you build the static defenses. If you can't rely on macro or micro to give you the advantage, and the game is balanced, getting your opponent to fight you over your defenses is the only possible advantage.
Guess Ive never been a noob RTS player as I never built any anchient protectors or arrow towers, Ive always just gone steight for army and upgrades only after I have like half full army suply.
The problem is that for newer players - the campaign teaches you to play this way.

I am french canadian and honestly I doubt this guy even really speaks french. That felt more like google translated stuff he just typed in. Fils de pute is not an expression that is used that often here either that is more something they would say in France. And unless I am mistaken he was probably not talking about poutine the meal but Poutine the russian president :), would make more sense with the rest of the sentence anyways imo! I always was the lunatic that was like "how fast can I get another base" and starting I was playing vs my uncle a lot of times and he usually would be someone that did rushes (maybe because I was an idiot that always wanted more bases).. and grew into building defense into expansion lol i progressed in reverse.
He'd probably rush every game but wanted to let you have a chance every so often.
