    Are the non alta/bird resorts less crowded on big pow days?

    • @spencerethington
      @spencerethington  9 месяцев назад +2

      Both are less busy, solitude is usually crowded the same on weekend and weekdays, while brighton is empty on weekdays and packed on weekends

    What length do you ski the black crows in relation to your height / weight? Thanks!

      @@uncledabob i am 5'11" 160lbs. My skis are 178cm tall but i purposely got them longer so that they'd last for 3 seasons. They still work perfectly though. I usually prefer the length of my skis reaching to my eyebrows but my skis currently reach to the top of my forehead

    Yo man nice vid, I am curious though, I've been looking at buying some black crows but have heard that the build quality, specifically the top plate w the design often isn't great. How do you like them and have you run into that issue?

    • @spencerethington
      @spencerethington  4 месяца назад

      Glad you enjoyed! I love my black crows, I will probably keep buying them
      in the future because they are awesome. For me, the top plate does get plenty of scratches and a couple chips, but the bottom is usually very durable, I've never gotten a core shot on them. hope this helps

    Hey man! Really like your videos!! Quick question (I am starting to want to get into some more advanced skiing), when you are going into that expert terrain, are you or is anyone you are with bringing any saftey eqipment with you? I am not sure when it is appropriate to bring that stuff with me?
    Again, great videos!

    • @spencerethington
      @spencerethington  2 месяца назад +1

      @@olivertodd5022 I never bring any safety equipment with me when I ski because I am inside resort boundaries. it is 100% necessary to bring safety gear if you are not skiing at a ski resort. If you are at a ski resort then it probably isn't needed because of ski patrol triggering avalanches before opening terrain to the public. It is probably a good idea to have it at all times though.
