I have a little question for all the iracers in here: i'm going to get my a license in two days which means i can race in imsa/ imsa fixed. Do i need to change the tires or is tire wear not that big of a problem?
I did my first race in the lmdh race in the Cadillac. Last 2 laps I lost about 8 places. The car wouldn't stop or turn. Need to learn tire management. 😂
Same here mate. Tried css and gng and binned it in both races. My fav is the caddy closely followed by the 963. I am just not talented enough to drive the acura :D
I have the Pure Driving School and that setup felt planted and really nice to drive. I didnt drive much though because the gt3 class was more fun and I whated to race that.
I don’t understand this stupid game sometimes I see people spinning others out, actually making contact and they get nothing but a 0x. I avoided a huge collision going wide off track and still got a 5x with zero contact made…. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Iracing uses a no fault system, it feels very unfair when you’re the victim but when you cause the crash or make the mistake, it’s very forgiving. It’s not for everyone but it’s just how iracing is
@@rideorfly13 I understand that but in my situation there was 3 cars that piled up at turn 1 monza I ran a wider line than usual to avoid and went off track I didn’t even come close to them but the game still felt I deserved a 4x lol normally I would of suspected it to be netcode but I was a cars width away from everyone and my car had No damage at the end.
@@dbzcollector9963 although very unfortunate, and also very rare, you almost certainly experienced a horrible example of netcode. During a stream, I witnessed a huge netcode collision at last corner of spa. An lmp2 pulled in front of a gt3 by at least two whole car lengths and boom, 4x for the lmp2 and no damage but the gt3 got sent into oblivion😆 like I said, it’s rare but sometimes netcode in iracing is just horrible!
@@rideorfly13 wow I knew netcode was pretty bad but not that horrible! Lol thanks for explaining it tho definitely had to be netcode cause I’m pretty sure I didn’t touch or get near anyone that’s why I went wide and off track to avoid that but I guess the netcode thought other wise 😂.
Not sure but was thinking the same thing. It is a North American brand and here it is (correctly) pronounced like "accurate"...the emphasis is on the first part of the word, not the second.
if you're wondering about the specific pronunciation, it's "hon"+"da"
fillman!
When I saw the track map I was like “IMSA is running…centripetal circuit?” Lolol
It was so much fun battling with you in that first stint, unfortunately I screwed up my pit stop so I was done after that 👎
I've literally never heard anyone say aCUREa before...
yeah I’ve only heard it ac-ur-a before watching Ollie
Yeah I know. Sounds funny
I thought he was joking until I heard someone else say it. 😂
Thank you

Nice racing Ollie. 👍
I did some practice in the Acura using the setup from CSS and I found it super sketchy, not sure if there's where you got your set as well.

So is the wheel knackered or did a reboot or reinstall sort anything out?
Something with the USB

0 stop possible?
raced in the imsa open series and it felt like my brakes were so weak idk why
Why is “Acura” being pronounced differently all of the sudden or have I been wrong all these years 🤔

Ollie, Acura is pronounced like the word "accurate." Pretend there are two "c"'s. Tell you're British colleagues please!
Very nice and fun to watch!
