How do gloves and hand sanitizer prevent you from breathing it in?
@@Don_Von_De_LaNooch gloves are supposed to provide a layer of protection against covid for your hands, but ultimately it kind of is like wearing a double skin so the purpose is defeated, and hand sanitizer is to kill it, so you can clean surfaces without having permanent organ damage.
Dude I’m a nurse in NJ. I see 12-15 Covid positive patients a day. Seeing people in the streets and at stores wearing gloves is frustrating. I have to remind myself that people just don’t know and haven’t bothered to educate themselves. Glad to see u mentioned it. Every little bit of education helps.
Right. Cashiers wear the same pair of gloves, interacting with hundreds of people a day. Protecting themselves but spreading it to everyone else. Jcaho would ding my hospital for that.

Justin Garnick That’s because they don’t want whatever they are touching getting Covid on their hands and when they leave the store they are removing the gloves and using hand sanitizer before they get in their car. It’s not to protect surfaces from their hands.
i wear gloves but for certain tasks and throw them right away after im done. and still sanitize my hands before getting into my car etc. i usually carry a few couple gloves.
I'm super high risk and I only wear gloves when I fill up for gas, and then I throw it away in the trash next to the pump.
People really need to stop discarding their PPE on the ground or randomly in stores.
For real I remember walking towards Walmart one time before heading to work and the little path they have with the rocks and bridges and stuff was littered with masks and gloves. Fucking pigs too lazy to walk an extra ten ft towards the nearest trash can

Many years ago, as a foster parent, I began to carry hand sanitizer everywhere. I agree about the gloves, though I keep some near. The last use with the gloves was to carry off some poison ivy. In the old Army, we trained a lot for operations in a contaminated environment. Now, I do my best to dress in layers I can peal off inside out. Though I don't wear the gloves, I wear an overgarment just to ease the transition when I get home. Your perspective in carry guns is a bit different than mine. At most, the only non-stock part I add are night sights. The rear site also needs to handle duty as a single hand racking device. Now, I do not want to sound paranoid, but I would avoid showing my house keys online to a large audience. An example of what happens is when the TSA posted a picture of their standard keys for approved locks; a key profile is like a password to your lock and showing it creates an exposure that did not previously exist.

Your completely right, I see so many people with gloves on touching everything in sight, including vegetables. I keep a container of hand sanitizer in my car, and before I even get it I put so on and let it dry
I don't mind wearing a mask and to be honest the first week I was wearing gloves then i did some research and just stopped unless I'm at a grocery store and I only touch what I'm gonna buy safer to just wash your hands. Great vid . And im waiting on my slimfoot ...protech for life.

Thank you so much for bringing up the gloves thing. Because I used to eat at Subway and although I’m not as bad as someone like Howard Hughes I am a little bit of a germanphobe and I noticed that when you would go to Subway they would use the gloves to make food with but when they put on the gloves they touch the outside of the gloves with their potentially dirty hands and then they put the gloves on and make your food but that means whatever crap they had on their hands is now on the outside of the gloves which is touching your food. And I guess your food is going to get touched whenever you get out but there’s something about watching it happen right before your eyes that just kind of grosses me out. And really the first time that I was at a subway and I thought about this I could tell that the woman had just come out of the bathroom because I had to wait for her to get up to the counter and I saw her drying her hands off. Obviously this meant she washed her hands but how do you know how well she washed her hands? And then I imagined her not washing her hands very good and then putting on the gloves and I thought oh man that’s gross and I pretty much couldn’t even eat the food. Now if they had a gloving machine that sort of opens the gloves up and you just slide your hands in then that would be sanitary but otherwise it’s really not sanitary. And furthermore another thing I noticed one time at a restaurant was that this woman had an apron on and she was making food back where we could see her and I noticed that her apron had a bunch of filth on it. Most of the time people don’t wash their apron every day like they might wash her uniform. So if there’s anything on that apron that’s been sitting there for a few days it’s generally going to have been growing bacteria and even though somebody’s hands maybe clean throughout the day they will be in advertently touching the apron and transferring that bacteria onto their hands. So even though they just wash their hands or their hands are clean they are going to be for long because they’re going to be accidentally touching the apron throughout the day. But what really kind of grossed me out was that she was making the sandwich and I could see that her apron was rubbing up against outside of the bun as she was cutting it and putting the condiments on it. And it was right where it looked most dirty. I know this is a little bit OCD but if you can’t get over these kind of things it’s really hard to watch other people make your food especially when you see things like this. And right now seeing how is it could mean the difference between life and death with the whole COVID-19 happening it’s just something to think about.

Crazy what we consider as a normal edc right now. My mother in law made everyone washable masks to use when you don’t need the n95 ones. The one you have looks way more comfortable. I’ll definitely be purchasing one at the end of the month! Can’t wait to see what the Glock looks like! Keep up the good work brother!

Please don’t forget when wearing masks speak a bit louder than you would normally. As a person who relies upon reading facial expressions, lips, and word pronunciation to adequately engage in conversations it is a bit frustrating and disheartening when you can not fully engage with someone or to get information. It might seem as a silly thing to do, but the hearing impaired community will greatly appreciate it.

FYI if you're not washing that mask (which I don't think you can due to the carbon filter) you're essentially touching what you walked through outside and putting yourself at risk. Just don't touch it, hang it up on a hook or coat rack near the front door and don't touch it until you have to. It's a lot harder with those coverings since there's so much material (I'd just wash it every damn time I came home but I don't think that's an option for those).

I’ve got al lot of mechanixs gloves 🧤 and after a trip I washed them immediately. Multicam and black covert, those will suit you as well, tacticool approved 😜

a bandana might be superior .... the moist environment you create in the mask is best to be washed often... I use them and wash them each time I shower...let them dry in the sun for UV sterilization.

I’d use gloves if your hands are cracking due to over use of hand sanitizer, as that creates a vector for infection. Just make sure you are disposing if them when you’d use the hand sanitizer, which will be after you leave the store. You can also wipe all of your food down with a fresh 10% bleach solution as long as it has protective covering. Obviously it wouldn’t be good on good directly.

You’re not lazy for wearing gloves, and it’s a great option over nothing, if sanitizer is sold out, or if your skin is damaged.

Did you replace the factory mag release? ShieldArms recommends you do. I’ve got the 15 rounds ones and haven’t seen any issues with the factory release but I only have a few hundred rounds through mine

@Talon sei Did you swap out your mag release to the shield arms metal mag release like they suggested? Only asking because I didnt and I wasn't sure if it truly makes a difference or not
With that knife it uses a button to deploy so would that make it an automatic knife? I live in Louisiana so we have pretty relaxed laws but idk if I can conceal carry that knife?
