I'm surprised you don't do this with the Cacodemons. 2:38 _almost_ 666/1000 2:45 man, that is _crazy_ seeing that wall of firepower coming down. Who wants to see 1000+ Fire Gargoyles against heavy enemies like the Cyber-demon? 7:10 hey.. you got a holy number this time. It would be amazing to see a wall of Cacos do that in "Nightmare" on a future arena fight.
Dewds had to aim into the z-axis as well, and were pelting each other with oranges in the back of the head vs up where those things were. I miss the old days where you get close to a floater, and it gets "sucked down" to ground level where you are.
at least the imps dont fire down and hit one of their own one would think being in the air is an advantage but in this case not so much...at least in UV mode that is
If you cross the streams, the Ethereal Crossbow chews through Imps nicely despite its inconsistent damage. Meanwhile Fire Gargoyles resist the shotgun even better than Chaingunners, so the SSG is a lot better.
Yesss!!!! finally! i wanted to see the tennis balls trowers gargolyes long time ago since you used the regular ones.. in fact i think i asked for them in that video
Out of curiosity, is there any chance of you trying out X/Y axis for sprite billboarding? Or at least software rendering? It would make the aerial shots look way better, less flat.
Why are the gargoyles and imps always attacking one specific point or enemy at the start of the fight and not just go haywire at what's the closest enemy? All the fights seem to start the same way.
Because of how target priority is calculated. They all attack the same enemy because the AI gets the order to attack the enemy with the highest priority ID.
What a difference UV and Nightmare does to the match up.
i think UV force a melee combat
Doesn't Nightmare make them respawn? Battle would never end.

I have a problem with cacodemons in this mod. BUT Cyberdemons and Masterminds will appear :)

It still does. In UV they close to melee even though it's a terrible idea you can see here lol

Ethereal Crossbow or Shotgun, I only need a good solid hit with either to make a ground or flying imp go splat!

Fight fire with fire, i bet for the gargoyles and thanks for the Good classic Doom epic music !!

The red arremer's cheapo copies have tremendoous advantage. Imps still get blocked by themselves 😢

Melee imp, ranged garg,
After having been gone for a few weeks, and just as I start catching up the next matchup I've been waiting for happens! Awesome.

Ah, I see our content creator has been playing nuts.wad
I don't mean to complain but I can't hear anything over the music.
