The 7 Flushing Local and 7 Flushing Express are rapid transit services of the New York City Subway, providing local and express services along the full length of the IRT Flushing Line. The services are colored raspberry on station signs, route signs and the official subway map with local service denoted by a 7 in a circular logo, and express service by a 7 in a diamond-shaped logo. Both services operate between Main Street in Flushing, Queens and Times Square in Midtown Manhattan.

One of my favorite trains. I remember when the conductor said we were no longer going to Manhattan and dropped us off at Queensboro Plaza! Fortunately, we were saved by the Q train.
Love the 7 train. the 7 line is my home line. sad thing is there will be no more R62As on the 7 all of them went to the 6 line and the R142As from the 6 line has been transfer and converted into R188s and have been send to the flushing line CBTC great video .
I remember taking the 7 train,as my relatives lived in Queens,especially when I was 11,to go to the NY Worlds Fair,in 1964

How and when was the 74th stop so abandoned? While staying out on 34 and 82nd street off the 7 line....I loved that ride out to 82nd street from Manhattan the views are extraordinary...

I haven't done much travelling apart from Brugge, times are hard but maybe 2013 will be better.

There's Sadly No More R62A's On The (7) Train Line They Moved Back To The (6) Train Line. They Got Replaced By R142A's As R188's As Of 2016.

I miss the graffiti-covered cars, especially the "Freedom Train". The #7 train was a big part of my life for many years.

As Of Wednesday August 10th,2016 08/10/2016 The (7) Train Are Now All Nothing But R142A/R188.
In London the drivers have a full cab apart from the DLR that has none!

RJROLI cuando filmaron este video no había tanta gente ,pero desde las 7 de la mañana hasta las 10 ese tren va a reventar de tanta gente qué hay ,y no digamos en la tarde desde las 5 de la tarde igual es imposible viajar amontonados todos ahí buen feo ,la gente no tiene respeto .

What happened to all the graffiti on the trains?
after the broke-window-theory was elaborated and proven MTA invested a lot of money to clean up all trains completely and after that vandalism steadily declined.
They made it a felony, so it's not worth it. We still do burners once in a while. Some too to bottoms, and a rare whole car once in a while, but they clean it immideately, so again, it's not worth it.

No queens is a large area in NYC. There are hundreds on Subway stations in Queens. Queensboro Plaza is just the name for the local area. It's in Long Island City. A couple Queens stations have the word "Queens" in it, but that nothing special.
Queens has less than a hundred subway stations. One line is the queens blvd line, flushing line and Astoria line. Then several on the end of A and J.
