I was GAGGED over Jay-Z being like, “Beyoncé should have won AOTY by now” when the album that deserved it the most was the one where she called him out of being unfaithful.
He knows she spilled🤷♂️
The album also included multiple other elements besides just infidelity but yes that album is amazing but renaissance, self titled, and I am deserved it as well.
Dangerously in love, lemonade and renaissance all should have been album of the year.
Also, Justin Bieber yummy being nominated was a moment when Jay Z was talking that I remembered. He spoke a lot of facts. People are stuck on the beyonce part but overall he spoke facts.

The way women ABSOLUTELY DOMINATED the grammys this year is honestly super iconic imo! It truly shows that 2023 was THE YEAR OF WOMEN! Also, Dua, Livie, Miley, Fantasia, and Burna Boy all ATE with their performances, especially Miley, she had me laughing so hard with her little quips!
Phoebe being most awarded with 4× wins was iconic... women said we make best music and we'll get the accolades too...

I am the biggest Swiftie there is and I was rooting for SZA for AOTY. Every time Taylor has won previously it’s been for an album that pushed boundaries, which Midnights did not. Im proud of her for breaking that record but ya know

Midnights literally blow the steam services up, it was insane what she did so let’s not discredit all that work just because Taylor has done it before girl
Yes, Midnights broke records but people forget there were at least 4 versions of Midnights (as in, same album but different covers) and so Swifties were buying 4x the amount they normally would when there’s an album release! All because Taylor gave us the merch tools to turn it into a clock.
It’s a clever marketing tactic, but that doesn’t mean it deserves AOTY. I do love Midnights, but compared to both Taylor’s previous AOTY wins AND the other albums nominated in this years category it’s not up to par.
Yes, history was made by giving her the award for the 4th time but it’s the recording academy who make that decision anyway! If they wanted to give her the award in order to “make history”, they literally can.
I feel like they only gave it to Taylor to make a headline. They did the same last year with Beyoncé when she broke the record for most Grammy wins ever yet she still didn’t win AOTY

I’m loving your red hair, girl! You’re rocking it like my pop girl fave, Dua, who I thought did a great job opening the Grammy’s. The first song she performed is her second single called Training Season which she debuted at the show. Simply iconic!
I’m so happy for Billie even if it was obvious she would have won SOTY and every magazine / critic / person predicted that .. i was so happy!!! 😭 bc it was really important that song for us women and many ppl life with a existential crisis in this world .. That emotional song had a BIG global and cultural impact in many women and ppl lives thanks to the songwriting of that song ❤️ a timeless masterpiece ❤️ it also won the “Anthem of the year” award for this impact.
Every time I hear that song I start to cry 😭😂 so touching … and meaningful… and beautiful… literally life. And I was so happy for VICTORIA she is AMAZING and sooo underrated!!! And I’m happy for Miley finally now she has her Grammys👏🏻 and Taylor. And Boygenius love them. 👏🏻
