Hi, thank you for the series on this build!! Very helpful for a newbie like myself!! Have other boats, but RTR! Just got this kit the other day , starting the build hopefully this week! I've got that same motor, 2860 ,3400 kv. Are you running 3s or 4s in this vid? Again thank you Sir!!

John Sneen Welcome! In the video I am running a 2860-2550kv on 4s with the stock prop. 3400kv will work fine on 3s and you can run bigger props. That motor on 4s I’d run stock prop and check temps to make sure it’s not getting too hot when first setting the boat up..

Great job with everything . After watching I have realized there is too much work & equipment you need to do this build correctly . Do you sell boats or build for customers ? Thanks . . .

Thank you! I don’t build for other people, takes me too long to make a return. I sell some of my builds on occasion and do have a couple extra riggers. What’s your budget?

my kit doesn't show a teflon tube. What size do you use?

I used a .150 sized shaft with 1/4” stuffing tube and requires Teflon tube Part # oc150t-24. If using .187 sized shaft with 1/4” stuff tube, you don’t need Teflon liner.
