Slow Horses deserved to be much higher on the list, definitely in the top 5. And while Sugar started out intriguing, the awful ending just ruined the entire show. You are correct that Silo deserves the #1 spot.
I honestly didn’t have them ranked here, I was just including all of the best options but I do agree Silo is the top option hands down and yeah Slow Horses is not the lowest either. 😁👍
100% they have been crushing it and 2024 they even increased the volume and quality didn’t seem to drop off IMO. I can really only think of a handful that are ehh and most are really early on when they just started producing shows.
My man! I was just searching my Apple TV app for something! For all mankind is probably one of the best shows I’ve ever watched. Time to check out something new.
I agree 🫶 I really enjoy it, but I enjoy both genres they explore as well as Colin Farrell in it a lot so sometimes I can’t tell if I’m biased or it’s a good show 😂
I also recommend Severance and Invasion. The latter starts off very very slow, but once you get to the 4th episode, it seems to get its legs. Sunny is pretty funny although a bit quirky.
Perfect time of your to binge! Hope you found something that works for you, if not I just put out a dystopian list -> EPIC Dystopian Worlds: 20 TOP Series You NEED To Check Out ruclips.net/video/vvjdJ07EMpw/видео.html
I've been watching Silo, But Dark Matter and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters are on my "to watch" list. Also might check out Slow Horses and Sugar. Happy Holidays to you (and yours) by the way!
Silo, Masters of the Air, and For All Mankind are all very good. Goes to show what you can do with good acting and a compelling story. Monarch Legacy of Monsters was pretty good too. Had my doubts, but it's not bad and you don't need to be a Godzilla fan to enjoy it.
Severance is one of my favorite Apple TV shows but it didn’t have anything released this year, this video was recapping stuff from this year. But January 17th season 2 😁👍
Monarch Legacy of Monsters - started watching but then eventually just fast forwarded to the parts with monster action. The human storylines were boring.
Silo. Such a stupid show. Firstly the silos would all have include a simple traction/counter-weight elevater. The Romans had them you know. Then no matter happened to force the humans underground, weather and plate tectonics would still happen. Bad Monkey is endless hours of the very talented Vince Vaughn, but it gets old after a while. You had better love Vince Vaughn. Disclaimer is well shot and acted, but there isn't anyway the dead son's mother could have known the things written in that book. Blamchett's character is the only person who could have known, and once you realize that, the whole thing falls apart. You won't get those hours back. Presumed Innocent is good. The actors are able to overcome a small bit of bad writing. This story was written before cell phone & vehicle technology was utilized though, and so you just need to ignore that, otherwise the story falls apart, so don't you be thinking about any of that stuff. Pachinko is just beautifully shot. You're going to want to have an understanding of the centuries old Japan/ Korea conflict to fully feel the tension of this story though. Dark Matter is a good show, full of very selfish people. Imagine you make the biggest discovery in human history, but you keep it to yourself so you can get the girl you always wanted. Look. Apple TV shows might have these grand scenarios, but really none of that matters because all of their shows are about only one thing. Human want, jealousy, avarice, and greed. All of the conflict is derived from the humans undermining one another. Just so you know. However Apple TV shows have good acting, high production values, and descent writing, and absolutely no overdubbing. P.S. For All Mankind works because it takes place in an entirely made-up alternative history.
What series did you forget to catch up on in 2024 on APPLE TV PLUS??

I absolutely love Slow Horses - an offbeat spy thriller series with lots of intriguing and offbeat characters.
I seriously had no idea about most of these .... thanks for this. I'll be checking some out now.
You’re welcome! That’s why I do these videos 😁👍 thanks for watching
Dark Matter is getting a season 2 even though the writer hasn't written a sequel to the book yet. Usually a bad sign, but I'm hopeful ☺️
100% Fingers crossed they don’t ruin it cause you’re right there have been some cases where that doesn’t pan out well.
Disclaimer, and The Day Of, are so well written and acted.
I really enjoyed disclaimer, it was different but you are right the acting and writing is great
I also enjoyed Disclaimer.
almost any apple tv show is worth watching if it fits in a genre you like, they make bangers, quality over quantity

Pachinko ❤
Great option! 😁👍

I hope this helped you find something! Thanks for watching 😁👍
Feel like Sugar doesn't get enough buzz. Thoroughly enjoyed and pretty unique concept.

Both great options, I love Severance. I have not watched Sunny yet but I’ll have to find time
To check it out
I’m behind on Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and Dark Matter is my favorite on this list. Season 2 is something I am extremely excited about
I love dark matter too, the subject matter is one of my favorite premises. But so is Monarchs 😂
Dystopian….I don’t have a favorite that’s why I am here to find a few things to watch while it snows. 😁

Dick Turpin looks interesting, somewhat on the lines of Robin Hood Men in Tights
I didn’t even think of that but yes very similar silliness with a smidge less singing 😂👍
See was a solid series i just finished!
That’s an outstanding option, I recommended it a few times in other videos 😁👍

Glad you were able to get some new options 😁👍 happy holidays to you as well!

I have been super impressed with the quality of Apple’s shows, from production, story, acting, effects etc.
Severance was one I would add
Severance is one of my favorite Apple TV shows but it didn’t have anything released this year, this video was recapping stuff from this year. But January 17th season 2 😁👍
Shrinking is fantastic, one of the shows I’ve seen in ages. I won’t watch Pachinko coz the book was astonishing and I don’t want it ruined.
Shrinking is right up there with Ted Lasso as it is funny but makes you smile the whole time. But I can respect that with Pachinko
Monarch Legacy of Monsters - started watching but then eventually just fast forwarded to the parts with monster action. The human storylines were boring.
Aw man I really liked the Wyatt and Kurt Russell family story but to each your own but thanks for checking out the video 😁👍
