You should have done the dinner shift tonight; 5:30-9 PM was crazy good and a blast from what I imagine 2021 was like. I made out with $117 and averaged over $4 a mile. Only did nine orders in that time between IC & UE in the South Congress/Riverside Area.
@@za4117 what da heck! 😭😂🤣 Ok I suck at this gig, clearly! You and Alfredo killing it out there! Look out, I'll be in South Austin tomorrow. No more wasting time on IC in the noth lmao
Sheesh......those steps on the hand it to me order. No Bueno for an older gal like me with a bum knee 😂😂😂 Sending good juju vibes your way for the rest of the week ❤❤❤

Been watching for about 2-3 months now love the vlogs. Moving to Austin -- Leander- soon from Raleigh and do Uber eats on the side ish. Hope u have a better day than today. The platinum on doordash those catering u had def are big compared to my region. Get back on it if u can.. these apps are so wishy washy depending on the week😭
@@KBJ910 dude thanks so much! And welcome to Austin. ❤️ I love Leander. It's beautiful out there. The train goes out there so you could take that downtown if you wanted. Cap metro. I hope you do well with UE here. Yes! I'm pushing for platinum again I miss the lunch catering. That was easy money and felt so good.
I need to get mine back up to platnum again and hold it there til gold cause I used to do really good, but not right now. I dropped back down and still need 20 orders to get back to Gold, so j still have a ways to platinum. I need just take stupid orders just to get those good orders back. Cause each order is 10 pounts, and a double is 20 points (they count each order in the batch toward the points) I do Spark and my average comes out to around $32-$37 per hr each week. So i do really good over there at part time orders. Im hoping after this week i can get into looking more toward full time hrs to get my income built back up. But i know when it gets cold those orders will grow, as well as when the snow hits.
@@angelbabe1977 you're doing great with spark! I wish I had that app. I hear you on platinum and that's where I'm at too. I'm in the low 40s now with my acceptance rate and I think I'll make the push for it again as it is worth it at times. It's a delicate balance so you don't let them take advantage and they will try! It's truly an art form to know when to end a dash and not accept junk offers when they start sending a bunch. When the good ones come, ride the wave and then get off when it goes south
If it’s a low item order, like 30 or less items, I like to do produce first because it can take a while. If i can, I’ll pick as many of the non-packaged produce items before starting the timer. Extreme selectively on produce items, as one time got 4 star for an insect being inside of a pre-sealed container of cherry tomatoes. Gotten as low as 88 seconds per item. IC has not really been the answer for me either, at least as of now. Unless you’re an insanely fast shopper, a majority of the batches end up being a bit more time consuming for the compensation.
@@jesseboudreau1547 I'm the same way. Produce first, then meats and then the rest. Tricky stuff outta the way and finish with the "easy." I think I've just been in the wrong area lol. I went back to the stores near where I live today and first batch was $92! It went down since they were out of steak. $160 almost in 4 hours. 2 instacart batches for 130 of that. 🤯
@@AustinDashes That’s good it worked out closer to home! Im in N. Central MA, I’ll get some good batches from the store nearest my home, & I’ll even get them from my house 5 miles away if no shoppers at the store, or it’s a rematch customer. But the issue is volume, just not many batches, & lots of low stock issues. If I drive out to Mad Dashers City (Burlington) they have many larger chains all in closer radius, with less low stock issues. & if IC isn’t hitting out there, I can have the opportunity to lower my Uber eats acceptance rate to 0% in the time of 1 lunch shift. I’ve yet to do Costcos, we have a big grocery store popular in the N. East called wegmans. I’ve been learning that store more recently. All the people I see consistently making good money with IC at least on RUclips are just very fast at the shops. Like 20-25 minutes to shop 40-50+ items. I’m also noticing the IC algorithm is all about customer history. They are likely to keep sending you customers you’ve previously shopped for & rated you highly or at least no rating or reported issues. Just got back up to 4.99 after the 🍅 lady’s 4⭐️fell off.
@@jesseboudreau1547 lol tomato lady. Oh no! That's totally out of your control like you said since it's a sealed container. How the heck are you supposed to know there's bad ones in the middle 😆 I got dinged for slightly moldy strawberries. It was going to a merchant that's kinda like edible arrangements and they ordered organic which is tough because without the preservatives they go bad quick and Sam's club didn't have many good ones. Oh well. I'm familiar with Wegmans! I lived in Erie Pennsylvania for a little bit and they had those there. Nice stores. That's cool you live close to MD's zone. Burlington does look very nice. I see why he does so well there. Yes!! You're 💯 right about all the IC gig tubers being stupid fast with high item orders. Like HOW?!?! Lol. I'm not afraid to do the high item orders though if it's a store where the app tells me where everything is. Sprouts isn't too bad either. Those are easy to memorize. You should try Costco! I get the biggest ones there. I missed a $92 batch during opening drops today because I was trying to vlog and then saw ANOTHER one which I got. It was a different batch too. Only 26 items 🤯
@@AustinDashes they have the most unfair rating system of all the apps. At least with DoorDash they remove a lot more of unfair ratings.
