- Join me for a 20 minute Pilates Ring full body workout. Traditionally called the Pilates Magic Circle, it is perfect for toning the inner and outer thigh muscles and the core which we will do in this session, along with exercises to tone your arms, glutes, back and shoulders. I did this workout on Saturday morning and thought “Gee, that wasn’t all that challenging. What’s she talking about? Maybe I wasn’t doing it right or not giving it my all.” Sunday morning could barely move my legs! Monday those inner thighs are still complaining! I guess I was working hard enough! 😅

did this today for the 27th day challenge , had to improvise with a cushion and tided band, probably not as effective but worked quite well. 🤩

Knew I wasn’t up for the one-hour session on playlist for today (busy morning), but I’ve been wanting to repeat the challenging, innovative equipment sessions Rachel gave us over summer! Fun to try the circle ⭕️ again😊❤
Thanks for the suggestion for Martine to use a ball and looped band instead of a ring, it worked fine for me!

Not to be stuck on day 27 as I don't have a magic ring, I adapted with small ball and tied resistance band. Sorted😅

What a great workout Rachel. Will be doing again!! I only managed one roll down squeezing the ring, it was hard. I switched to a ball, and did fine.
Hi Rachel, just finished the live workout. Very effective, but quite painful for the lower legs if you are very bony. Will try switching to a ball for that exercise next time.
And yes please more exercises for a weak upper body, especially weak shoulders.

Could you tell me which mat you are using please ? I think the markings would be very useful.

Hello Martine, yes I would suggest a ball and for ther outer thigh exercises a resistance band tied around your legs will work well 🤗

I'm sure this is a great workout but not for me. I find the ring itself really uncomfortable. I'll stick with the small ball and bands. I love all your other workouts Rachel and now I know to avoid magic ring ones.
