I'm a software dev and I've been using this keyboard at work for 6 months now. I will say this - the keyboard is physically beautiful to look at. It's got this really nice, heavier, sturdy feel and is an absolute dream to type on. Now, I got the blue switches. Are they as offensively loud as some people make them out to be? Not really. They are louder and audibly different from any other keyboard that's probably being used in your office though, so that's something to note, but they aren't as crazy loud as some people make them seem. Actually, the noise of the switch itself is not where the majority of the noise even comes from - the switch is just clicky - most of the noise comes from the keys hitting the backplate which is something you can avoid by either not being an aggressive typer or spending 8 bucks on some O-Rings (as I eventually did) to prevent that from happening. The noise is not an issue unless my office has extended periods of silence, in which case the keyboard's noise becomes about the only thing you hear. In summary, please buy this keyboard if you're on the fence - You wont regret it. Also, go with the blues. They are not that loud and they make for a significantly nicer typing experience. If you're like me and want to be considerate of those around you, spend 8 bucks on some O-Rings to put on every keycap and it will quiet down the switches enough to make you feel better about using them (lol), but they'll still feel and sound oh so nice.
We've all seen those little feet that extend out of our keyboards, but did you ever ask what they're really for? It turns out, they're not there for ergonomics. I recently got a new keyboard and realized I never knew whether I was supposed to extend those feet or not. After a little research, I discovered that they're usually there not for better ergonomics, but to make it easier to see the keys. First of all, it is important to distinguish between people who can type ‘blind’ and people who cannot (who use two fingers). The advantage of extended Feet for non-‘blind’ typers is that they can see the keys more easily. There are no disadvantages of extended Feet for them. But things are different for people who can type blind, as they do not look at the keyboard while typing. The Feet do not therefore need to be extended. In fact, extending the Feet can put one’s wrists at risk if they are angled back too far. For this reason, blind typers can best keep the Feet retracted and use a relatively thin keyboard. Various studies even have demonstrated a beneficial effect when angling the keyboard away from the user (with a negative incline). In a Nutshell, its not ergonomic for blind typers. So, if you have to look at the keyboard when you type, extending your keyboard feet (or making some of your own) can be good. If you can type without looking at the keyboard, however, you're ergonomically better off ignoring them (especially on newer keyboards). If they aren't comfortable flat, your chair might be too low-try adjusting it higher and you should notice a difference. Share this on to kill all false info! and stop Carpal Tunnel Syndrome!
Thanks for this. I'm a blind typer, and I always found it too uncomfortable to type with the feet out. I always thought something was wrong with me since I assumed those feet were meant to make typing more ergonomic.
I recently training myself to type blind. I put my feet down since the part below my palm is pushing hard against the table. I guess it depends on the keyboard. mine is a logitech k120. I can mostly type blind except when typing passwords. Blind typing is really useful.
+The Croaker magnets dont mix with gameboy advance games (it erased my save file on pokemon ruby, i booted up the game and it said "the save file has been deleted")
Love my Das Keyboard 4 Pro. I never knew how awesome it would be to go out and buy a high quality keyboard but I actually enjoy typing on this thing. I got the brown switches.
Since I couldn't find someone mentioning this, the ruler is a convenience for users such a esport professionals who rely heavily on muscle memory and likely already bring their own ruler to events. The ruler provides consistency between practice environment to wherever you bring your peripherals by letting you replicate the positioning and distance of your peripherals to each other and the desk they sit on. All this said, the fact that the ruler is also a raiser makes the use of the ruler slightly problematic since if you do use it as a raiser, you have to place it back after measuring, which would potentially mess up your measurements.
I have a daskeyboard 4 ultimate, and it is amazing. Like seriously. You get used to the blank caps really quick, and i typed this at ridiculous speed on said lovely keyboard. Everything is well built, and it looks and feels amazing
I own the Das Keyboard 4 Ultimate with MX Blue switches. I work in customer service and constantly get people asking about my typing speed because my keyboard is so loud. The black keyboard has all black logo that's practically invisible unless you're looking at it. The ultimate edition also has the same black print on the sleep button, mute button, and media buttons and the only thing that stands out is the red on the volume wheel. The black edition also has a lot less contrast between the aluminum and keys than shown on the website, the contrast appearance seems to match the Professional model shown in this video though so that may be the same with all models. The Ultimate also shows more dust just because there's nothing "going on" outside of the volume wheel. Some people think the 3.0 cable is too thick but i'd rather have quality and durability over flexibility. Overall the ultimate is a lot classier looking than it is "Bad Ass" it gives off the impression of "This guy must know how to type like a pro, and it goes along well with his minimalist desk" i Take it between work and home with me, and both of my desks are dark brown so it gives off a very classy minimalist touch to my workspace. other benefits of the Ultimate are no texture on the keys from lettering when you type if you're OCD like i am, and also no one can see you typing in passwords or other information. If anyone's wondering in most distro's of linux (Ubuntu, Manjaro, Crunchbang, etc) the volume wheel controls the media drastically going up around 10% a click, but you can reconfigure that with 3rd party utilities. On windows 10 (7, 8, 8.1, 10, Etc) it controls the volume by 2% a click. If you're on the fence i'd personally say to go with the professional, but if it's for personal use than the ultimate will raise your typing speed over time, also a great way to keep your kids off your computer XD
I type about 15% faster on my Model M than on my Quickfire Rapid with Cherry Blues. I feel the weight of the springs really help me out in accuracy as there's no doubt that one was pressed when you do. Typing on Blues gives be the blues. *Ba dum Tss*
depends on the taste; some like buckling spring keys, some like Cherry MX keys and some like Topre. Personally I really like Cherry MX Red. Diversity man, diversity.
Chris Dennis I'm not saying he was paid, not at all, but it would matter because he at the least should disclose that, or else he is advertising a product without us knowing, we all go here and might see a product and we may buy it based on his opinion of it, as such telling us its maybe the best is just wrong unless he tells us he was paid to say it was the best.
This is an excellent improvement over the previous model. I have the old Ultimate with Blue keyswitches. Love the matte black and the extra buttons at the top right. I still wish the Professional model had a backlight; if it did, I might upgrade to that. But I have a feeling my current Das Keyboard will last forever.
It's a youtuber thing. All of them call the equipment they use "the best". If you look at just about any setup/room tour, it will say "The best office/gaming setup of 2014" on every one.
Kapp4 its the best typing keyboard in the world, not so much for gaming. If you have ever seen any typist competitions the only keyboards they use are Das Keyboards because of their superior build quality and better performance than many other keyboards from other manufacturers. If you are comparing this to any other keyboard in terms of functionality then you are only going to find small improvements here and there, but when looking at it from a professional stand point (when your job requires a lot of typing) this keyboard blows almost all other keyboards out of the water.
John Beane Ok, I said gaming keyboard because they usually have that "tec" sound when you press a key, which was the only thing shown in the video that "proves" that this keyboard is better than any other...
Kapp4 that "tec" sound is the noise that a cherry mx key makes when it is pressed. These key switches are engineered to improve the typing experience. This particular keyboard is made with the best (affordable) switches available, which in its self puts it in the same category as other top of the line keyboards. It also happens to be the thinnest mechanical keyboard in the world, has a matte finish witch increases the quality of the look as well as the amount of time that it will look clean. The idea of using a magnetic ruler as the stand is amazing too, you may notice that many keyboards you have owned or used at work or school have broken stands which is really annoying if you prefer an angled typing surface. And to top it off this is a full size keyboard with audio controls as well as a volume rocker. I am a fan of minimalist design and because this keyboard is all black. doesnt have 10 profile buttons or 15 macros or tons of LEDs all over it - it makes it the perfect keyboard in my opinion.
I'm back and forth on this keyboard. For years I've been using my first mechanical keyboard, a Steelseries 6GV2. I like basic and professional looking keyboards.
Guys... I was just making a joke. You would need an extremely powerful magnet to do and real damage. Magnets can do damage to hard drives but they need to be really strong.
I wish everyone would stop saying the incline is soooo ergonomic! That incline makes it less ergonomic. Your hands are supposed to be level and when they're inclined like that it becomes worse for your wrist.
I own both the model m and this, both are nice and each of them has their perks, I prefer the IBM since it uses the legendary buckling spring switches.
Thank you so much for this video, as well as the one on the MX Master wireless mouse! I've purchased both devices, use them every single day at work, and have fallen madly in love with these peripherals lol :) So much ease and comfort.
they don't last that long when I've bought products that have kailh switches. how is that BS? I own keyboards that have either Kailh, or CherryMX. my Cherry Reds have lasted a whole lot longer.
cwright.exe what you think is moral and whats not moral is not fact, its a fucking opinion. go fuck yourself you useless piece of human oxygen wasting trash.
Personally, i think the audio cues help you know immediately of your mistake instead of later. It trains you to be a better typist by giving you more immediate acknowledgment of mistake, exactly how one would train a dog :) Works on us humans as well.
Tbh, I enjoy the razer blackwidow ultimate keyboard, Not only for gaming but for typing fast with it's ultra fast responsive keys, and that satisfying click you hear when you hit a key. Not to mention that the blackwidow also has an extra usb port, and a mic in and headphone port in case your cable is too short.
I program about 8+ hrs a day every day and I thought that my stock dell multimedia keyboard was the bomb. I wish I discovered this keyboard earlier. I just bought this keyboard. This keyboard is SOLID! The only fault I can find with it is that the rubber feet are not that great and that it doesn't come with a wrist rest. The ruler is pointless for me, i'd much rather get something a bit thicker to raise the keyboard a bit higher. But when it comes to what keyboards are meant to do, aka typing, the mx blue switches are perfect.
I have this keyboard. Love it! I found the tilt inadequate though. So I designed and 3D-printed an insert that makes it about a quarter of an inch taller at the back. My insert has a pair of super magnets so it sticks to the keyboard, and the original "ruler" sticks to the insert.
Well, I had a Corsair K70 RBG and Das 4 Keyboard (both in MX Brown). Both are great boards and at this price you need to go with the one that has the features you want. After a while of using the K70 I started becoming irritated by the tactile "bump" the browns are known for. It was like something was between the key, "like a dirty red". _(This may of been due to the new clear mx switch that was designed by Corsair to allow for RGB back lighting)._ I was convinced that the mx reds would be more my speed. That RGB lighting is just plain cool. Then I tried the Das Keyboard and wow, it was night and day. The switch felt tighter and more natural, it felt like there was spring resistance rather than a bump getting in the way. It was also much quieter due to the recessed keys and shorter travel distance compared to the K70. Would recommend this board to anyone on the fence of the 2. I am returning the K70 and keeping the Das.
He spelled it right. It is German and we pronounce the A a bit differently. Like Zintasy already said, it is pronounced close to 'does'. Don't trust me as a German? Go look it up.
I actually came from the k70 blue to this and there is a huge difference in the feel and in the sound of the board but I miss the palm rest on the k70 though
I can't stand mechanical keyboards, maybe with the brown switches they could annoy me less but I'm a Chiclet keyboard convert since I got my MacBook in 2008. I tossed away my Logitech G15 with all the awesome features it had back then and got a Apple keyboard. I don't care much about membranes, I just want flat and well spaced keys.
I have a laptop with a Chiclet keyboard. My hands get fatigued on them for some reason. :( I should probably learn to type less hard. I've got to get used to the bottoming out. But yeah, Chiclet keyboards are definitely the best laptop keyboards. But mechanical keyboards just feel soo nice... Oh, and just in case anyone else misread, the Logitech G15 is a membrane keyboard.
timithy4569 sure it was membrane, but it had all features but the kitchen sink then going to a barebone keyboard just to have a chicklet keys, after that was quite strange.
I discovered an old Sun Type 6 keyboard in the attic at my office last year and I've been trying to find a good keyboard with a Unix layout. I love the layout so much that I just got rid of my Das professional even though the touch was superior. It's too bad that no one is making new keyboards with this layout, because once you get used to it there's simply no alternative.
_Quantum I've tried better keyboards at friends and it was brilliant but not something I would use because they are too expensive and I am sometimes really hard on my stuff so if something happens with this one i'll go out and get another 15$ keyboard :-P i wont lose much money when i ruin mine. And another thing. What can a 100$ keyboard do that a 20$ keyboard can't do?
dacasman I didn't. Too expenisive where i live. Over here not many people use them. Only gamers with a bagillion subscribers. For a lot of people my keyboard seems expensive :P You feel 15$ as 15$ but we feel 15$ as 60 of our money. And a standard pay over here is 700$. That's why no one uses mechanical keyboards over here.
iEpicVideos I will agree, it's moreso a brand you're buying these days, the quality control has gone down a lot, twisted boards from das are common. I personally own a Ducky Shine 3, and a Poker 2.
I know right? Well it is high end but it's not even worth that much because they are crap compared to the corsair vengeance series and the razer keyboards. I don't think that there is rgb nor leds. Oh and razer is about the same price as the Das Keyboard but shit still ain't worth it.
Razer keyboards barely work on bios if you use that at all, cannot get it going on 2 diff computers, with diff boards. Ducky Shine 3 ftw. (Poker 2 at home)
Ikr? I have a thinner mechanical keyboard than this one and that's not even the reason I went for it. I got it b/c I wanted a budget MX Brown switch keyboard that was reliable.
I bought the 3 pro for my job and I started something at work. I've so far converted the regional director, two of the technical directors and half of the engineering team. Would be great to see a similar mouse from das but for now Ill have to manage with my Logitech MX Master 3
Brandon Lee My favorite one is while recording/playing "It doesn't usually lag" "I don't know why its lagging", and my favorite was someone recording with Google Hangouts. Yes, hangouts.
+NinjaTxGaming Go for a Corsair stealth mechanical keyboard, Reds are alright, blue's are awful for RUclipsrs cause they're really loud, Browns are probably the best way to to if you want performance and silence.
+NinjaTxGaming I have a Ducky keyboard with MX Reds, and they're pretty loud but I like the linear over tactile feel, so I recently picked up the Corsair STRAFE RGB with Cherry MX Silents. They're MUCH quieter than the Reds and feel almost exactly the same, and they're on sale at Best Buy right now for $129 so I'd pick it up.
Therapeutic indeed! This will probably my breakout keyboard, as I transition from being a life long heavy equipment operator to a computer wielding remote transcriptionist. From there, I plan to conquer the universe, or at least the world. This keyboard will help a lot. I'm thinking I'll probably go with the brown keys though.
I’ve had the Das ultimate stealth for like 10 years. Still going strong. Amazing keyboard... only mistake was going for stealth version. I mean, I can type seriously fast and never thought it would be a problem for me... but god it’s awkward sometimes not being able to see the key markings
The only thing premium about this keyboard is the price. Trust me quality is CRAP and it feels cheap. I have owned several mechanical keyboards and this one is the worst it terms og quality. If they cut the price to low end it would be o.k
MissMan666 True. They even STILL use the ABS keycap with laser etched.. just oh my god.. If they make this keyboard full alumunium unibody (or at least the top panel can be unscrewed for easier cleaning), detachable cable (rubber coated is okay, i don't fucking mind though), Dye sublimation PBT keycaps and a palm rest i'd buy it for sure.. if the price is still $170 or even $180 it's okay. It's surely worth the price
I have an old Logitech keyboard with volume buttons and it serves me well. I don't mind the noise but the thing is very creaky even though i generally type very quietly and with little force. That thing looks amazing though and I'll be sure to get one someday. Excellent video and thanks for posting. 🙂
I have a das keyboard and I bloody love it. I really would love to upgrade to this version, usbs in a better place and the media functions would be really handy.
A small thing but something which I think is important is that if you want to raise the angle of the keyboard, just buy yourself a couple of small niobdinium cubic magnets (I have 5mm magnets) and just attach them to the two magnets on the ruler.
My Das 4 Professional is still going strong after 3 years. I just replaced the keys with a more colorful set from Tai-Hao. I got mine with Cherry MX Blue switches for typing, but they work well in games, too. The only problem with the Das 4 was the keys - many of the ones sold (including mine) use a standard-style key font, with the legend in the left corner, rather than the centered legend seen in this video and in marketing. Also, the legends were laser eteched and infilled - they look good when new, but once stained, they will NEVER become clean (hence why I replaced the keys - the new set is doubleshot, and will clean better). I got this keyboard so I could use it in my career down the line, and now that I'm almost finished with university this is still looking likely.
Owned a Das 4 Pro for a couple of years now, survived more than one coffee spill. The keys still feel buttery under my fingers. Just recently got a Das 4 Pro Mac for my Mac Mini, with the Cherry Brown keys. Loving it. These are no-frill keyboards, no backlight, no bluetooth, no macros, built like small tanks and a pleasure to type on.
I've had mine for about 4 or 5 years now. After typing tens of thousands of pages and gaming over those years, everything still works just the same as when I got it. (Knowing my luck, just saying this means it'll probably die on me tomorrow.)
I always wanted to buy the ultimate version back when they were released but never had the money and decided to got for a cheaper one, which is still a good keyboard. But now it's showing it's age and I think it's finally time to go tor the badass version. I absolutely love the way it looks and I never look at my keyboard while I'm typing so I'm really looking forward to get one. I wish there was still the M50 mouse by Das Keyboard available somewhere so I could have a matching setup.
They are great, got my das 4 ultimate in October 2014, several months after release. I use an alternate keyboard layout, so the key legends are in the wrong place on every other board. Still going strong today, zero issues. Also picked up the original das 4c professional tenless on clearance sale for $61 USD. A pretty cool board as well.

I would Still say a Corsair K70 RGB is one of the best Mechanical keyboards and key board in general
im in!

Nothing beats the Model M, not even my Quickfire Rapid Limited Edition with Cherry MX Greens :D
Cherry mx green sucks, too heavy D: at least for me

***** Explain to me how the thickness of something that will always rest on a desk would ever matter?
***** That would have to do with the height of your desk and chair, not keyboard thickness.
They are awesome, just wish I could find a ten keyless model that has Windows/super key(Linux).
NOTHING beats the IBM Model M. Had mine over 20 years and still in heavy use. Never a glitch.
The audio has improved soooo much from this time

Yup he probably is, that's why I unsubscribed. These days, only a few youtubers are genuine, the rest are just robbers.

Das Keyboard 4 Ultimate owner here. I'd say that it really is one of the best no-frills keyboards out there, if not the best.

There are also gaming keyboards with crappy membrane switches. It's the Cherry MX mechanical switches which makes the big difference.
Back in the days when Lew wasn't a yelling sellout... Miss those days..
Me too
Yea .he changed a lot .. he use to be more polite
I'm back and forth on this keyboard. For years I've been using my first mechanical keyboard, a Steelseries 6GV2. I like basic and professional looking keyboards.
Blue keys are my favorite
thats what I have! :p
i have browns
My mech keyboard glows blue keys

Guys, always put a magnet by your hard drive. Its the best thing you could possibly do with one.
Actually, don't do that...
Its because it probably breaks it
A standard magnet is nowhere strong to corrupt the data in a hard drive, let alone wipe it. It's the same with credit cards and room key cards.
Guys... I was just making a joke. You would need an extremely powerful magnet to do and real damage. Magnets can do damage to hard drives but they need to be really strong.
BeyondDeathday They need to be electromagnets.
Troy Dietz Yes, I know
Nothing can beat the IBM Model M. Period.
+Jacobo Blandón Pineda Yes! Thank You!
+Jacobo Blandón Pineda I have a Model M that I got for $3 at Goodwill. It's one of my prized possessions.
Nice to hear ya all. We can all agree that IBM keyboard it's a real treasure.
+Holden Galusha Where did you get it?
***** I got it at my local Goodwill thrift store.
This is the first video of yours that i have come across , Great review man . You gained a new sub !
I wish everyone would stop saying the incline is soooo ergonomic! That incline makes it less ergonomic. Your hands are supposed to be level and when they're inclined like that it becomes worse for your wrist.
yup, when I heard him say that I looked in the comments to see if anyone else had said anything about that. Agreed!
***** yes, to be seen by those who use the "hunt-and-peck" method and not used by those who touch type.
Zane Daniels That was the joke. He was being sarcastic.
its pronounced das not das
😂 how is it pronounced? You spelled it the same way 😂😂

I have a CM Storm Ultimate w/ blue key switches and I love it. Can't really justify the increased cost for most of the das products honestly.
@0:57 I didn't know you felt that way Lewis flipping us off like that lol.😂😂
I have MX Blue switches. The sound doesn't help me with feedback at all. It does however get onto my microphone.
Wrong title.
The Best Keyboard Ever? (The legendary IBM Model M keyboard.)
Yeah Bitch! Magnets! ....
Breaking Bad?
Yes BITCH
Science bitch ^^
fuckin magnets, how do they work?
I was just about to write this! ;3
The world's best keyboard has no backlighting. What has humanity come to.
+christopher grace also no wrist rest ! :(
Victor R Omg, forgot how comfortable mine is that I use right now!
+christopher grace Ywah like a wrist rest is awesome esp after those long fappn sessions.

Isaiah Haddock Eh, Not So much
If DAS 4 Professional and the Razer Black Widow hroma had a baby, it would be godly.
I would buy it in a heartbeat
razer is shit. they use kailh switches. from experience they don't last long. I switched for true Cherry MX Reds on a k70
That would be the Ducky Shine 5
"from experience they don't last long" BS
they don't last that long when I've bought products that have kailh switches. how is that BS? I own keyboards that have either Kailh, or CherryMX. my Cherry Reds have lasted a whole lot longer.
CHAAAAAAIIIINNNN KEEP US TOGETHER!
My Das Keyboard changed my life! I'm not sure how I even existed without one.
I love this keyboard, I bought one and I could not be happier.
Thanks for the recommendation.

All of you guys sound like dumbasses; arguing over petty topics with your nonsensical rhetoric (if it can even be considered rhetoric).

Kodddayyy H Bro... People like you are the reason so many people hate Americans...
Don't be so self-centered and narrow-minded. Grow up kiddo.
Did you just call a Das the best keyboard ever? Don't make me smack you Lew.
He added a question mark, so it isn't a statement.
My comment was (obviously?) tongue in cheek, these videos are mostly just glorified advertisements anyway.
My name is pretty empty.

+TDDragon ditto
I just bought it the other day, and I have to say that, this is the nicest keyboard I've ever used.
Personally, i think the audio cues help you know immediately of your mistake instead of later. It trains you to be a better typist by giving you more immediate acknowledgment of mistake, exactly how one would train a dog :) Works on us humans as well.
Does it bend tho?
My favourite thing about this keyboard is the noise. I love getting feedback for key presses. But I'll never be able to afford a thing like this.
Well atleast you have a great pc setup i guess ?
same
Take a loook at Kailh switches.
Why does the lofi beat in the background have the bass line from Fleetwood Mac The chain?
Tbh, I enjoy the razer blackwidow ultimate keyboard, Not only for gaming but for typing fast with it's ultra fast responsive keys, and that satisfying click you hear when you hit a key. Not to mention that the blackwidow also has an extra usb port, and a mic in and headphone port in case your cable is too short.
I bought this keyboard because of your review. I've had it for 6 months. best keyboard I've owned.
Anywhere you can put magnets. Put magnets.
"the best keyboard ever?" short answer, No
+Jacob Dorsen Seriously ? Noooooo . It really nooooooo tho .
+Jacob Dorsen i'm curious, what's the best one ?
+Jacob Dorsen DANG IT I READ THE COMMENTS NOW I KNOW
+alion22 i really like the vortex pok3r.
+alion22 Corsair K70 RGB, new model with the classy Logo, not the old one with the tramp stamp.
I love clicky loud keys...
maybe that's why my keyboard kept breaking cuz I tap my keys hard to get that good clicky keys.
Weird because the flatness is what I love about it compared with other mech keyboards that make me feel like I'm typing uphill.
We need more american express ads!!!!
Dude just shut up look at your comment then look at the video. Your comment is irrelevant
Just go buy a gaming keyboard.
ew gaming keyboard, that edgy look came from outer space so you everyone will know you are hardcore gamer and that LED.
Fadhlan Rahim
There are lots of gaming keyboards that look very minimalistic, both with and without LEDs
what so gaming about quickfire and k70?
Corsair 4lyfe, waifu no laifu
***** every keyboard can be re-programed, macros, maybe not multiple profiles.
how this keyboard for gaming?
Depends on if you like MX Blues or not for gaming. I do , most people don't.
MX blues are great for gaming,,,,
mx blues sound so amazing
wolfgang
*It's not*
it's great for literally everything
I am returning the K70 and keeping the Das.
i still use this keyboard in 2021, bought it in 2015, it's super durable, not one switch loses it's clicky sound.
Or you can also use a regular keyboard and just hammer the keys so hard you can hear them from across the room like you're some kind of typing God.
You pronounced "das" wrong 😁 ^^
ikr
He says it like "dash"
It's supposed to be close to "dos" like the operating system haha
***** It's pronounced like "does". ;)
He spelled it right. It is German and we pronounce the A a bit differently. Like Zintasy already said, it is pronounced close to 'does'. Don't trust me as a German? Go look it up.
Anybody else hear the bass riff from Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain" in the background?
Pressing those keys are so satisfying
Ahhh yessss. I’m here in the mystical year of 2020
i'm good with my cherry blue k70
I actually came from the k70 blue to this and there is a huge difference in the feel and in the sound of the board but I miss the palm rest on the k70 though
Im Good With My DYMCO Rainbow Backlit Metal Gaming Keyboard Too! Lol
4:51 my opinin 😂
I can't stand mechanical keyboards, maybe with the brown switches they could annoy me less but I'm a Chiclet keyboard convert since I got my MacBook in 2008. I tossed away my Logitech G15 with all the awesome features it had back then and got a Apple keyboard. I don't care much about membranes, I just want flat and well spaced keys.
Logitech g710+ is amazing
Withat8 it seems nice maybe I should check it someday.
Lol we're complete opposites... I dread topping on my Mac because of the reason I don't get to use my mechanical keyboard.
I have a laptop with a Chiclet keyboard. My hands get fatigued on them for some reason. :(
I should probably learn to type less hard.
I like my 10$ Logitech K120. I've had it 3 + years and still works flawlessly
I have a keyboard for 15$ and I'm fine with it.
+Nie mam pomysłu That's because that's what you're used to... You don't know how much better something may be until you've tried it.
+Nie mam pomysłu
it doesn't satisfy me typing on a membrane as much as a mechanical. Its overall frustrating
+Nie mam pomysłu You've obviously never used a mechanical keyboard then.
dacasman I didn't.
A $170 keyboard! to do pretty much what every other keyboard does!
Ben Tj Let me introduce you to reddit.com/r/mechanicalkeyboards/
Litruv Das Keyboard is overpriced, there are keyboards with the same build quality for $70-$100
iEpicVideos
I will agree, it's moreso a brand you're buying these days, the quality control has gone down a lot, twisted boards from das are common.
The "thinest mechanical keyboard" that's some bullshit.
Would be great to see a similar mouse from das but for now Ill have to manage with my Logitech MX Master 3
once I started using a mechanical keyboard, I couldn't go back to a rubber-dome keyboard. The click is so pleasing, both tactile feel and sound.
50% of people who buy mechanical keyboards only use it for minecraft.
lol true. most of them are spoiled 12 year old "hardcore gamers".
Naw, most of the kids who play minecraft play on macs. They usually get a "gaming mouse" instead.
Zcolby true don't forget the "gaming headset"
Brandon Lee My favorite one is while recording/playing "It doesn't usually lag" "I don't know why its lagging", and my favorite was someone recording with Google Hangouts. Yes, hangouts.
they beg there parents just to get the most expensive, "top notch" headphones, only to find out they hate headphones because they're uncomfortable.
Corsair K95 RGB is the best keyboard on the planet
Yep...Ive got the same one...:)
+CurlyTop1492 The biggest LOL possible. I hope you're trolling.
i think the strafe rgb is a little better
+D. Cederqvist see, I actually AM a software engineer... and I stand by what I said. No need for you to be a douche in your response.
CurlyTop1492 BoneBrain we all have our own opinion !!!!
Are there any like RUclipsr , silent keyboards?
+NinjaTxGaming corsair strafe mx cherry
+NinjaTxGaming Reds are actually kinda loud xD
+HipsterPolice Red + O-Rings - Try it, got the same setup as you.
I mean, I can type seriously fast and never thought it would be a problem for me... but god it’s awkward sometimes not being able to see the key markings
now in my opinin XD
best keyboard in the world IBM Model M
Model F first, then Model M ;-)
A keyboard is a keyboard. No difference to me.
+Steve Geo did you ever try a Mechanical Keyboard ?
+Rekouane Hichem nope yet I do my job with any keyboard. I'm not into giving money into these.
just do it xD you will not regret
+Rekouane Hichem lol I will regret mate. No money for these.
+Rekouane Hichem mechanical keyboards are a waste of money
man rally love the way u tall us about new things u are great
Damn your videos have changed quite a bit. You seem so different in these old videos. Definitely like the new ones way more.
paid review
You are so smart.
Ty
So is u 😎
It's surely worth the price
buy a keyboard at www.micocenter.com or in stores
Tommy Whitaker
go away with you advertising shit
+MissMan666 I'm I j :'( hvi
Whats wrong with micro center they sell gameing keyboards too
I have an old Logitech keyboard with volume buttons and it serves me well. I don't mind the noise but the thing is very creaky even though i generally type very quietly and with little force. That thing looks amazing though and I'll be sure to get one someday. Excellent video and thanks for posting. 🙂
Thats a freakin' awesome keyboard, the volume knob is just 100% win.
Holy crap...but did anyone notice how "pixelated" Lew's Hoodie gets whenever you put the resolutions higher? Unbox Therapy
You've just help me decide on a new keyboard, thanks!
I have a das keyboard and I bloody love it. I really would love to upgrade to this version, usbs in a better place and the media functions would be really handy.
Mac user. I LOVE this keyboard. The only thing is the tilda is configured incorrectly?
No slow/light push test for the sound and accuracy of the keys? :P
Bring back this Lew
