Great video. Thanks as always for your hard work and especially for having the background noise. It is awesome to hear what is going on unlike, Miami Boat Ramps, which completely drowns out the background noise.
"It's like going down to the playground and putting Pledge on the slide and watching the magic happen" best line I have heard in a long while!! LMFAO! Now i want to do that.....
I’m liking this channel a bit more with every video! Great job captain and Thank You for the laughs, your narrating and kinda dry sense of humor is fabulous and much appreciated!!
Captain thanks for another great vid, appreciate the quiet commentary spiced with a little humor and sarcasm. That unusual pontoon trailer has a drop down tongue and lift axle so it is easier to load and off load. Too bad we didn't get to see him raise it back up for highway travel. Looking forward to your next show and tell.
Love yer commentary CCC,..... I'm amazed by the number of people with a bow line in their hand, when the stern line would give them total control of their boat,....
tip for jet ski trailers mount some small flags or poles kinda like the white truck in the second clip to help see what your trailer is doing behind you if you don't have a backup camera. not to mention it helps to line it up on the trailer.
The old pontoon trailers had a system that raised and lowered the rails that the boat sat on. They actually went under the solid part of the deck verses the way they do now where the pontoons slide into the pockets. My parents first pontoon in the late 70’s had that kind of system. It was very strange compared to the new trailers. Once the boat was loaded and the rails were winched up, there was plenty of clearance under the pontoons.
Those lift trailers are so squirrelly. They used to be popular around here because you could sit the pontoon down on blocks in the yard and pull out the trailer. You should watch them go around corners. Scary business.
London calling. I live on a boat on the Thames and I’m laughing aloud at your filming. For a Brit you sound like a young Morgan Freeman, you should be a narrator 👍
Love your video's and the commentary is spot on. When you said that young captain was going to back that boat all the way back to the ocean, well now my side is hurting from laughter. Maybe its because I'm so old but it just tickles me to no end, but it makes it funnier because it so true. Also reverse is used far to much around the dock's AND a lot of times they are not looking back when they are in reverse. Love your channel brother, keep it up...
05:22 "Bath room". I was ramp blocked last Sunday. At our single ramp in town I sat for 25 min. while a kid in Grandpas Chevy Equinox (w-HandiCap badge on rear-view mirror) pulled his 12 foot aluminum boat out of the water, then STOPPED, ON THE RAMP. He then got out of the vehicle & walked over to a trash can to discard some trash. He then walked back to the car.... then walked 2 blocks to go take a dump at a business's restroom. I was parked with my roller trailer 8 feet from him so he KNEW i was trying to use the ramp next. I was PISSED!
He pulled out of the water and parked blocking the ramp? Did you say anything to him? If he didn't comply with a request to move, there are some guys around here who would attach a tow strap to that Equinox and drag it out of the way. 😆😅 Would been a clear object lesson in ramp etiquette. When people are allowed to get away with that crap, they'll just keep on doing it.
@@richardredhead Yep... all that. Nope, never said a word to him. It was a beautiful laid back day & I wasn't gonna ruin my mood & good-natured composer. Had i been in a rush, i would've said something. I think he was about 18 or 20 y/o? His 12' boat was like his ''baby". lol Had he been at the "big boys ramp'' (5 boats wide) under the freeway, that ship don't fly!. Edit: The only reason I know he went to the bathroom, was I followed him into a business where he disappeared! I asked the front desk if they saw him? They said he's using the rest room. I wasn't gonna follow him into the shi++er stall!
CCC, On that pontoon boat with the door flapping it's missing the doorbell, you wouldn't want uninvited guests. The Sea Pro vessel you said you wanted to check out but a lady in a very scant string bikini was obstructing your view ( yeah right ). I hope your wife missed it ???? That passing thunder storm wasn't that long at all. It happens all the time in Florida so if the boaters aren't prepared = OOPS !!!! Another good video sir + your narration was spot on. TMP from N.J.
@@CreditCardCaptain OK, CCC it was an hour. You always get these storms that pop up all the time in Florida that what happens. When I was on my vessel we were ready for everything & besides there is a thing called a weather forecast it's on every phone & If you can't read radar you shouldn't be on a vessel in the first place. When I had my Cruiser 34 ft with twin inboards & a 12 ft beam we were on it rain or not Friday night to Monday morning cause the season up here is short & the expenses are out of site. Looking forward to your next video sir, TMP from N.J.
Those pontoon trailers are nice for running around say a marina. They are adjustable hight. Wouldn't use them on the road for anything though. We use them on our quarry lake to go around the property a lot.
I believe that trailer action in Florida its called, burmese python technique, that dialect it called daytonian lol, why the front axle is no even touching , no wake zone for rookies means....nothing.....I love Florida rain!!!. “Any dog under fifty pounds is a cat and cats are useless.” - Ron Swanson
Another great video. Your voice is familiar, like someone I have heard before. Just can’t place it yet. Ramp watching is addictive. EDIT: That’s it, someone said it below in the comments. You sound like Bob Ross. Probably old news to you. I just became a subscriber.
A lake I frequent often, has a no wake zone and the local sherrif have 2 boats and patrol, get caught they do all the safety checks tieing up your time and smack you with a fine, keeps it to a minimum but occasionally some still push the envelope
Need some brackets that you can hang a camera on at the pier and have pole to put bracket over those square posts for close up work and you can watch from a distance and then remove it at end of videoing. May have to put camera on shady side of post to avoid overheating battery
I worked at Skeleton Key Marina at Hudson Beach, I busted my ass to many times. Also watched a guy standing behind the trailer being backed up and moving it instead of the truck lol Crazy shit great video.
and look it that lady walking that cat.... oh man, for fucks sake, I couldn't see for like 5 minutes. Wife was all concerned, couldn't figure out if I was laughing or crying...
7:21, after the captain has left the helm to fall in the water, and the boat is sideways to the dock, one of the crew pull out the 100' "dockline" and starts to fix it to the stern cleat...
"I was hoping to see some sparks..." off'n an ALUMINUM BOAT?? Genius!!!
What are you genius? That cheap pontoon aluminum prob has more ferric metals than typically seen. So yeah I’m hoping for spark. Credit card champ
Are you serious?
Only 100% aluminum doesn't spark bud lmao
I'm pretty sure those two gals know what bunk lube is.
You're like the Bob Ross of boat ramps
lmao
"I'll get you a better view.."
Just as the young lady bent over to get her Flipflop...
Appreciate it...😆😆

A little Florida sunshine (in liquid form) never hurt anyone. Thanks for the show, Captain.

"Trying to get a look at that sea pro" just incase wife watches. Well done 👍
Monsoon season is the only time where you'll be drier under water than outside of the water. The guy that went overboard was just drying off is all.
That was some serious rain storm. Blowin' a gale!
Jet ski guy at the beginning got burned!! Lobster back!! Hope he has lots of aloe.

9:41 - Wow... 🥰 Nice SeaPro!
Bro, hands down best commentary
Some great looking...boats there. Really liked the orange one! Not everyone is huge in North America.
Everyone that operates a boat should use a radar app like my radar. This helps keep an eye on weather.
Nice T&A👍🏻!
Never seen a Sea Pro, but like what ever blocked it. Mighty fine
Dang I remember weeble wobbles! Born in ‘78😂
That odd style of pontoon boat trailer is notorious for turning over.
You are so funny to me subtle joks have dying lol :)
Wake like that in new England at the dock you ain't leaving

You speak Daytona 😂
it is a yard trailer. they use those every where
Easy to back a jet ski trailer. If you see it you need to correct yourself. Don’t see it you are golden.
A two for one, that cracks me up!
isnt that a shop trailer, that manufactures move the pontoons around the warehouses?
The shackles on the trailer flipped because only the rear tires were on the ground. On the pontoon boat.
Love your narrative. 👍😂👍
Rriiiigggghhhhhhttttt. You were looking at the Sea Pro 😜
Looks like that trailer needed an electric lift or something for the front

Thanks to this video, I have now learned with Dielectic Lube is. Boating is recreational *and* educational.
Been caught in storm like that before. Boat filling up with water thank goodness the bilge pump was working.
Do you have cinnamon flavored bunk gel?
bunk lube?
used when yr wood is covered?

I've watched enough of your videos now, so I'll go ahead and sub up.
Thanks daltons
I bet there's water in that one pontoon
Lol, he mumbled something in Daytona Beach 😆😆. Need a local translator for that one!
The pontoon trailer is designed to raised or lowered by means of a hand winch on hand trailer.
Down here in Miami we call them little buzzards murder hornets
Great channel 👍
I don’t own a boat but this is the funniest shit I’ve ever seen
Have never understood the use umbrellas in rain. You are in a tropical/subtropical spot and it ain't cold like at 32 degrees south latitude
Bro, I was just checking out their back pockets
“She’s got her bunks well lubed”
and look it that lady walking that cat.... oh man, for fucks sake, I couldn't see for like 5 minutes. Wife was all concerned, couldn't figure out if I was laughing or crying...
Did the white 4x4 parked in front of the SUV also get a parking ticket?
If you have a wood mast, will it explode like a tree when struck by lightning?
Great voice!!!
I don’t normally hate people. But when I do, they are blasting through the no wake zone while I’m loading/unloading.
Daytona Beach? More like Deltona Beach.
7:21, after the captain has left the helm to fall in the water, and the boat is sideways to the dock, one of the crew pull out the 100' "dockline" and starts to fix it to the stern cleat...
That seafox had a fox on it
why were only 2 of the 4 trailer tires on the ground ??? You can easily see it at the ramp at 3:10.
What sea pro?

Let’s go
