I just love that you are so patient with us, you not "running running running" to make is fast and leaving us with questions, you show some stuff that can go wrong and how to handle them, and for that, you have my respect! thank you, RG! :D
Thank you for the amazing support Red raven! 😊 i see you a lot around here and it means so much for me to see how you enjoy my hard work! your the best! 🙂
If the color of the object or lighting looks different when you raise it from the basement, you can place lights in the basement to match your lighting indoors. You can get it pretty close by playing with the lighting, just know if it’s not perfect dark colors tend to work better. You can also build a door and stairs to the basement and have your sim adjust the lighting - don’t forget that’s a really nice feature for changing the ambience of a room! You can always delete the stairs and door later. Remember if you delete the basement as shown by shrinking it, your lights should remain but the lighting itself may change without the basement. That’s because the lighting in The Sims is designed to change like natural lighting; it has an effect on reflection as if reflecting off surfaces like walls and objects pick up light from different light sources! So, a light in a dark basement without any close walls looks very different from one with bright walls to reflect light 💡 This is why things don’t always match in the sims. Even when they’re the same objects, in the same color in the same room - whatever light is nearby or even other objects to reflect light can change the color. If you ever wondered, just take a plain white object from one room to another and then outside. Take pictures of it with your phone in each place. See what I mean? The Colors are différent, even though they’re all white and the object itself never changes. The same thing happens in your game, but because it’s digital, and it’s designed to change for all lighting and all objects colors, it’s not quite as smooth as the real world. If things don’t match in your game, even objects in the same exact swatch color, try moving them around even just a bit. Move the lights or move windows, or change lights and windows. Or even just moving a wall or other objects - these all affect the lighting, and color of objects. It really helps! A trick to stop items glitching through others is to raise one of them by one press of the 9 key with the bb.moveobjects cheat on. If the glitching isn’t on top of the items, you can press and hold the alt key on your keyboard on pc to freely adjust one or both items very slowly and slightly until the glitching effect is gone. The difference in space between the objects might be slight but it shouldn’t really be noticeable. Anyway sim colors are always glitchy and mismatched even when normally placing things of the same exact color lol so it doesn’t really matter - chill y’all!
I kinda love the way you tell things!!! This an incredibly helpful video, especially for builders like me!! Thank you so much!! 😊😊😊 Do Not Skip Things! 😂😊
Cool!! I would like to see how to get a microwave to work inside one of those big tall cabinets. I've seen builds with a microwave and a dishwasher, (I think) in the same cabinet. Would it work on this same principal or would you have to do something different?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🏆🥇 YOU ARE A GENIUS ⚠️❣️⚠️❣️⚠️ THANK you so MUCH for actually making seriously useful totally comprehensive videos for advanced building! I can almost always find videos that claim to be advanced that really aren’t showing anything new and you are seriously welcome exception! This is fantastic! You’re absolutely brilliant⚠️✨🙏🏻✨💕
You're so funny when you asked the dude "stop eating" twice 🤣🤣🤣 Real fact : dont ask a dude to stop eating when it's chips, they go nuts & turn into hulk 😂😂😂
I'm a little confused. You just said these tip were base game friendly. Then the very first thing you said is that the tires come from eco lifestyle?????? How did this base game friendly then??

I did it before, to improve the colour you need to add lights to the basement, i use it for indoor decorations too
You’re channel has made me a better builder, and given my sims better houses, you have made the Sims 4 building Bible, thank you 🙏🏻
The log is neat! I also found the trick of the basement a few months back and I made a glass coffee table :)

That is so awesome. Like building in the Sims is fun, but doing crazy stuff and trying new things and then experimenting with them is so much fun!
Right? One of the best parts are to find new methods to improve what the devs don't deliver to us 😊

Could I somehow do this with the Sulani bonfire thing? I want to kind of create a custom stove this way. I just want to cook fish lol.
Don't see a reason why it wouldn't work ^^
@@RGeetect oh okay. I think it's the height maybe?

you like it? 😜
Hello! I am unable to get the 9 and 0 keys to work for moving items up and down. Any idea why? Thanks in advance!
How do you get rid of the counter inside the fridge when the sim opens it ?
I assume that the counters don't work as I noticed you did grilling and quick meals neither of which requires a counter.
I'm a little confused. You just said these tip were base game friendly. Then the very first thing you said is that the tires come from eco lifestyle?????? How did this base game friendly then??
You meaaaannn CUSTOM made grill not costume :D
