I first saw this film in 1975 at Moanaloa Intermediate School in Honolulu, to be exact. It was at the end of the school year after final exams and I was in 7th grade, soon to be 8th. They showed the movie in the cafeteria. I loved it.

I absolutely love these old English horror movies!! The Hammer production really put out some gems back in the day. The Creaping Flesh with Peter Cushing is my favorite, that guy was an amazing actor. I hate all this reality TV, it takes away from the art of acting! I wish they would make more movies like this one. No blood and guts, sex, nudity, horror movies with this kind of stuff is not nearly as good as these old 60/70s scary movies..

I can't understand why some of these good horror movies are so dark; they are almost indiscernible. The version from the 60's of Tales from the crypt that I saw was an anthology, short horrifying narratives, one of which starred Joan Collins. Peter Cushing too made an appearance in one of the segments. There's one episode when a finger is cut off and how that finger plays havoc in a person's life. It was a great watch. I wonder if Chris Lee was featured in any of these shorts.

It was Joan Collins in Star Trek wot did it for me. I was about 7 in the early 80s when I first saw City on the Edge of Forever.

    ***SPOILERS***
Segment One: All Through The House: The good news for Joan Collins is that the homicidal maniac will probably get the blame for her husbands death. DNA testing is still a couple of decades away.
Segment Two: Reflection Of Death: I first saw this film fifty years ago when I was in my early-teens, and I still feel that there was no justifiable reason why Ian Hendry should be in the crypt. All he did was leave his wife for his mistress. His actions before the crash may have even saved his lady-friends life and at least he got his face back. Legend has it that the tramp/bum is still running...
Segment Three: Poetic Justice: Let’s be honest, serious questions would be asked about Mr.Grimsdyke today.
Segment Four: Wish You Were Here: Richard Greene did absolutely nothing apart from a little gun-running. It was his wife and his lawyer that screwed him. Couldn’t the lawyer have made a wish? His Jensen FF proved Richie had taste.
Segment Five: Blind Alleys: Rogers deserved everything that came to him including the ravenous Shane. We can excuse a few wonky nails.
    * The Fugitive film of 1938 was my favourite Ralph Richardson movie.

Segment Two: Reflection Of Death, no he lied and said he was going on a business trip and was essentially was skipping out on his wife/children. He fully intended to not see his kids again. Its not like he asked his wife for a divorce.

@@KebabMusicLtd I wasn't able to find the date of this film, but just looking at Ian Hendry, he's clearly several years older than he was in Theatre of Blood (1973). I don't think this was made in 1972 but rather closer to 1979.

The plot is silly and very badly written but it's entertaining stuff.. Great actors anyway and Joan Collins so.. Beautiful (and sexy 😜). Thanks so much for for uploading this film
