I think it's just a catchy name for the special... I mean, I hear what you're saying and all but there's not really a mystery to solve, the backstory is available, you can see for yourself. Serlings widow Carol found 2 pieces in a family trunk, one was the outline to the 1st story and the other was the complete script to the 2nd story. We then travel to post-Civil War Massachusetts, where Rod Serling's last unproduced screenplay comes to life. So, please sit back and join me as we journey into a wonderous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. Your next stop...The Twilight Zone!"

@@KevRipz You ever notice that for every dude that says "Thanks for taking the time and effort to digitize these and put these up"
there's twenty motherfuckers that are like "The sound at 4:47 goes wonky for 4 seconds. WTF. I hope you die" I'm surprisingly new to social media but it really doesn't bring out the best in people. Which is a groundbreaking scoop I realize.
Ive had a broken leg for a bit so I've been making playlists. I'm weirdly obsessed with British shows and creepy shows, like the Twilight Zone. Do you remember the show
"The Dark Room" with James Coburn? Only lasted like seven episodes but it was good. I love Internet Archive. I find the weirdest shit on there.
To be clear, the sound doesn't actually go wonky, that was just an example
@@FrithonaHrududu02127 hehehe I've definitely noticed that :P makes me appreciate the kind comments that much more! Sorry to hear about your leg, hope it's healing okay... I'm glad my channel has provided you with some entertainment while you're resting! Love me some Internet Archive, it's a glorious place for sure! I will have to check out The Darkroom, I looked it up and it's definitely up my alley! Besides, tis the season for spookiness! Appreciate the recommendation :)
@@KevRipz you're welcome. Yeah I freaking love Halloween. Don't laugh but when I was an early teenager I got interested in wicca.Yeah I know.i wasn't a cringey twat about it though. I'm from a very ethnically Irish neighborhood and I kinda got fascinated by the Celts. I learned Gaelic when I was little. Anyhow I've always liked Halloween. Have you ever seen the "TalesvFrom the Darkside" episode The Cutty Black Sow? I've made a bunch of Playlist of creepy shows. I got old about lists
Ah thanks, I almost bought this on dvd, but before I do I needed to see it first to make sure if it's a must own item for my anthology collection or not. About to find out.
Good luck I can’t seem to find it in region 1.
Last time I seen them commercials who was the 90s and I was neck deep in blow😂😂😂
Interesting. When I saw a tylenol advertisement , I remembered how everyone was afraid of cyanide poisoning in Chicago in 1982.And after all, the poisoner was never found.
I remember when that was happening. I didn't know it was unsolved. Thanks
I remember that every time I take a pill 😅
Never found the anthrax person either...
I remember that too. That's the reason they seal the packages now
They found out who did it. It was some lady who poisoned her husband and she put them in I think 3 different pharmacies. And then theres one where a guy almost killed his wife because he put cyanide in Sudafed and told her to take some because her snoring was keeping him up and she thought it was weird because they've never used Sudafed before but she took it anyway
look the cases up on the true crime channels... I forgot exactly which one. It was one of those interrogation channels on RUclips
Thanks, Rip. This is fun to see.
First one gave me chills. Imagine getting a glimpse of your own death….wow. On a brighter note, I’m loving every minute and these commercials are gold
Always liked this show.
1994 isn’t far enough back. The world was safer and happier in the Fifties. And the music was better.
Stay tuned, I've got a nice long mini series about the 50's coming up in the new year!
1:57 - "Good evening, and welcome to a very special two hours of television. Tonight we will see, for the first time, two original dramas, created by, prehaps, television's greatest storyteller, six-time Emmy Award-winner Rod Serling, beginning with a short film about a contemporary young woman, whose life unfolds in a most unusual way. We then travel to post-Civil War Massachusetts, where Rod Serling's last unproduced screenplay comes to life. So, please sit back and join me as we journey into a wonderous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. Your next stop...The Twilight Zone!"
Just discovered your channel. Love how you left the original ads in as well. Definitely prefer the retro shows, especially how we weren't subjected to tastelessness, profane language and vulgarity. We really didn't know how good we had it. Peeked at what else you offer on your channel, and like what I see. Newest sub! 😺
Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you found your way here and that you dig the vibe of the channel :) You're right! From the programming to the commercials and everything in between, the golden age of television is definitely behind us... Gotta save what we can while the tapes still work!
@@KevRipz Lol... Indeed
I'm here Sept 2024. I have a crush on Dr Ramsey.
I'd love 1984 again.
OH boy, does this ever take me back.
2025 anyone?
❤

Bingo
Yep
I love that movie, “his girl Friday”. I’ve seen it about four times. OK on with the show.
Commercials and nostalgic 😊😊😂🎉❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
LOS 90s.LA ULTIMA DECADA DE FELICIDAD .😢😢😢
RIP JAMES EARLY JONES AND GOOD TIMES
Loved this show
Thank You!
Never ever saw that one what shame it was so long to show😊
modern day late stage capitalism might be traumatizing me, because this 90s child is crying during the commericials... Anyhoo, thank you for the great upload!
RIGHT ON MAN!! I know EXACTLY what you're talking about!
Ultra strength Ben-Gay, nothings stronger.
Percocet is stronger
I really want to go back to the 90s when the world made sense
The first one creeped me … as they did when I was very young ! I needed to pause it .. gotta watch the remainder so I might not have nightmares tonite !
Perfection! 🤌🏾
Jack palace is right on i love his voice did he make any other shows
I think I got those lotto numbers !🎉
🤣
Two actors from Seinfeld.. in the first commercial Toby ,Kramers hysterical girlfriend and Elaine’s coworker who looses her pinky tow, and Susan in the opening scene… 90ties ❤️
These videos are awesome like 90's style awesome.
If you any other 90's videos please post them.
Yeah i understand - just too much of problems going on in the world -
Well we have to face it - can't go back 😢
I hated the commercials. back then if you missed school, you had to record the soap operas without the commercials on the old portable reel-to-reel recorders. Limited recordable time. If you forgot to stop it, you could miss the last 3 minutes and then, Oh Lord.
Liked the second story very much. So well produced in every way. The actors were brilliant! Thank you very much. ✨🌷🌱🧖🏼♀️🧖🏻🌒
I love how Darth Vader is the introduction
I like the commercials as strange as that sounds but they bring me back
Loved the show. But I found the adds interesting we didn't get those here in Australia.
😂🇭🇲🐨🦘
Yep, completely alien and odd.
WOW Good shows - Some of this last episode with Jack Palance reminds me of "Night of the Living Dead" from years ago - - (in the late 1960's) it was filmed in my home town of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, whih made it evn scarier.!!!!
I remember that Isuzu commercial from when I was 10.
You ain't foollin' me. This is a Seinfeld redux with Elaine adding unneeded exclamation marks in her editorial publishing capacity. ...
Greetings from Toledo Washington
i never thought id enjoy commercials, serious time warp
I wonder what i was doing back then that i missed this original broadcast. Or missed the ads for it too.
May 19th 1994
The 90’s were the best!
There aren't enough words in any language that can describe how much I hate clowns.
Well , we’ve got one running the country now .
