This is basically a neatly packed junk drawer that you can keep in your car lol. Seriously though, all jokes aside....I can see a lot of good uses in a lot of different situations that this would come in handy having in my truck. I know someone put a lot of time and effort into putting this kit together but I just don't see it being worth the price. My personal opinion of course. Great detailed video though. Thanks
I plan on grabbing this myself as my first emergency kit. As a newbie, the directions will be very handy for me
I really like the McGyver concept of the kit. Seems especially useful for RVers and others away from their home junk drawer. But I keep mine in a separate kit from my survival kit.
P😊😊 oooo p😊
Battalion. I actually bought the bag, several of their unique kits, and outfitted the rest of the bag. I did change the multitool to a Leatherman Surge and put some extra t-shank blades in it as well. Also, replaced the flashlight with a AA heave duty Zebralight flashlight/headlamp. I’ve found the kit to be useful several times and the junk drawer kits have gotten me out of several jams. Great review.
Just ordered one. thanks for the excellent review. I bought the bag alone last year and after watching this video decided to purchase the whole thing. thanks for sharing.
Battalion! I'm going to attempt building something similar and get as close as I can or maybe even improving on it to fit my needs. Great Vid! Keep them coming!
Battalion, detailed video. Recently came across your channel and subscribed. Good stuff man, thanks for making these videos.
Battalion. Great review and it's a nice little kit, some crossover with what I have and a few interesting ideas and a lot of stuff that I'd never use.
BTW the tampon has another use case - fire starter. Tear it open, fluff up the cotton and it takes a spark from a ferro rod with ease. Also has a fairly decent burn time.
It has so much stuff in it, I bet there's something for everything, stuff I have not thought of, great
I noticed that in that handbook a page relating to basic RPG gaming, and I wondered if they included dice-they did. As someone who adds cheap RPG dice sets to most of my kits I think that's a good option. In any situation where there is a need for some entertainment a quick and simple diy round of RPG gaming can seriously boost morale.-Battalion
Good stuff, my brother. I appreciate the info. I picked up your feed here and IG and look forward to seeing more. Battalion it is. Semper Fi and stay well.
Thank you for your service brother. God bless you
Thanks for sharing all this stuff with us. I watched it all the way through, so... BATTALION... 👍
Thank you for your service too.
My thoughts on this, (bear in mind I'm a newbie prepper, and don't know a lot about this kind of thing) all I could think while I was watching was..."that's in my junk drawer, that's in my junk drawer, etc ad nauseam. I'm NOT saying I could do better for cheaper, but I was really kind of surprised that a company like that would sell a bag with all the junk drawer stuff in it. And even more surprised that people are buying it. Lol. I will say that it DID give me ideas of stuff I didn't think of before, so kudos to them. I'd have loved to have been in that planning meeting...everybody bring your junk drawer to work tomorrow, we're gonna Macgyver it! 😂😂
Love all your reviews dude. Found your channel recently. Semper Fi man!
Popsicle stick:
Mixing 2 separate epoxie resins together into a permanant bonding compound.
Small elastic pony tail band:
For use as a clamp to hold two surfaces together.
Also use as a hold down to fasten 2 wood doll rod sticks togther in opposite directions in making a kite to fly and signal some one.
Also use as a spring for use as a sling shot.
Used as part of a trigger along with fishing line as a snare to alert you when you are asleep.
Or if animal invades your space and triggers the snare wire and is frightened away by adding a moustrap to your kit that makes the sound of a fire arm being discharged.
To hold a bandage over a wound, or turnakit to stop the bleeding.
You got me hooked! Great stuff!
Battalion! The popsicle stick is to mix the epoxy. FYI. I can’t wait to order the kit looks like a great overall package
26:00 - half popsicle stick, that's to mix the 2 part epoxy together. That's good epoxy by the way, I used that on helo and jet helmets during my Navy days.
Battalion. Finaly a in depth review of this kit thanks man.
Very nice well thought out presentation, thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Battalion, nice kit. SEMPER FIDELIS, brother. I like your channel. I've been a prepper forever, or at least since the Corps. Keep up the good advice.
SEMPER FIDELIS again,
Gunny Reed
Thanks Gunns
Hell yeah! I am sitting in my mancave watching your video!
Awesome video!!! Definitely gonna have to get one.
Right on brother!
Thanks for the mutual support Sir! Outstanding clear review.
The quality of the bag itself is excellent and it truly does have a ton in it. Tampon works great for Gunshot wounds!
Looks really great, thank you for the meticulous great review. 👏👏
Absolutely digging the camo playstation shirt, ended up forgetting the nail in the end and battalion...there you go.
Great video. Thanks. Gives ideas for a DIY kit.
I like the concept but def would want to build my own version of this!!!! But none the less great video brother!
Also the tongue depressor in one of the sub kits is for mixing and spreading the epoxy
my bad meant to write popsicle stick
There's alot of well thought out supplies in there. But for that price you can tell it's probably only around 80-120 dollars worth of kit. Probably less if it all comes from China. But it definitely gives some good new ideas for a similar kit I keep in my truck. I make sure I have shelter, water, fire, food, and everything you need to make cooking the food, building the shelter, purifying the water, and can't forget a good backpack or rucksack to carry it in. I think this would be a good kit if it had more than just one or two of so many different screws and nails. Instead having a smaller selection, but with more of each one. Like having four large screws, four small screws, and the same with nails. Also can't believe they didn't have a good half inch thick fero rod, even if it was only a three inch version. A half inch wide by three inch tall fero rod can start 20,000 fires! In any of my kits that aren't medical only, I have at least a half inch wide by five inch long fero rod, or rods. Plus I carry a half inch wide by three inch long Uberleben fero rod that's hexagonal and comes with a scrapper for the rod, for fat wood, a can opener and a small ruler. I carry a Leatherman, Leatherman trauma shears, a tourniquet, sometimes a knife, paracord bracelets that have built in fero rods with compass and whistles too. Also carry a good flashlight, I like Olights. I carry three at a time everyday. One that has a rechargeable battery, one that takes a AA battery, and one that takes a AAA battery. So if my good rechargeable flashlight runs out, I have backups. Along with spare batteries in my vehicle and my house. But I only keep spare batteries on me if I'm going camping or somewhere else I can't get to my home or vehicle. In my vehicle I don't just keep a pocket fishing rod, plus hooks, sinkers, bait, bobers, and other fishing supplies. I also keep a big net and also a few of the traps fish can swim into than out of. You just zip the bait in a pocket that sits in the middle of the trap, and when the fish go in to eat they get stuck. I've actually got some pretty big fish trapped in there already. Anyway enough said on my part plus some! I definitely liked this video and I definitely like the idea of this do it all kit. Like I said I have one very similar, but it would honestly be way to long of a comment if I mentioned everything I keep in my truck. Plus all the gear I could fit into a get home bag would be an extremely long list also. So I will spare you the details. I just wanted to let you know that I like the kit, just needs to be part of a larger system. Maybe you've already done videos on everything you put into your get home bags. But this is the first time I've watched one of your videos. I liked and subscribed. You did a good job reviewing this. Looking forward to watching more reviews!🤜🤛🦅🦅🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
You forgot 'Battalion'. All that writing and you forgot the secret password. Oy vey.
battalion
this stuff is amazing...awesome video having to go through all of the stuff.
Our family cottage is 20+ miles from the nearest town/hardware store. Over the years I have supplemented the toolboxes to have many of these oneoff type of items, wire, connectors etc. YOU hope you never need, but then hate to drive 40 miles round-trip for a 5 cent wire connector. If you don’t have it you MacGyver it out of other parts but a little kit like this would be great for an infrequently used hunter’s cottage, etc.🖖🏼
I think this is the first kit I have ever seen so far that has repair in focus at all and half of it is repair stuff..
I think I should probably start adding similar type of tools and materials to my kits considering my main value lays in being able to fix things...
Hey just watched your video i enjoyed it and man i'm all about staying alive i think is about the almost best thought out kits i've seen i agree food should have been thought of and i thank you for my idea of making one of my own
Battalion!
Personally, I would build a kit. These may be nice for a kid going off to college, but for anything serious, I want better quality.
Semper Fi.
Battalion. Just discovered your channel via this video. Impressive. I’m digging the bourbon theme. Subscribed. Semper Fi brother.
Battalion. Excellent video.
Startin the day "Battalion" style. Great video and thanks for opening the bag and digging into it. Like most of these kits, very stuffed and I always wonder how easy it is to get into it, use it and finally repack it in after you use something in it. Looks like it can be a hassle at times. It looks like a good kit, like you pointed out to start with, but like you, would want to tweak things here and there. On another note, I am over on the Ft Worth side of the DFW, was stopped at a RR crossing. A truck was waiting at other side of the intersection for a car in front him, likely someone texting and not watching the light, but he blasted them with horns like a train. Made me think of your truck horns. Super loud and nearly blasted the kid out of their car. Have to say it was very effective and got the car moving. The truck was a blue dodge, but thought you would have liked seeing and hearing that. Me, I laughed, my wife was holy s**t what that! Pretty cool!
I literally did that this morning. I need a follow up video on those horns. Especially the on board air.
Great review man
Thanks for the visit
Battalion bro, another nice one, these kits don't seem readily available across the pond here, but your insightful guide certainly helps to inspire and guide me toward adding to my own emergency kit bag, thank you for sharing
I bought the empty bag and think the quality is great. It holds a lot of stuff. Where I would like to see improvements is maybe the pack having the ability to expand to accommodate a beefier pack. I have some vanquest pouches like that. Undo a zipper around the pouch giving it a little more space for a fuller pouch. At the end of the day I like all the different size pockets in this bag.
BATTALION! Hey Doc. Ex Navy Seabee. Great video. Probably going to buy one and supplement like you said. Great foundation and well thought out. Thanks
*Battalion* I like this kit for what it can be used for. It seems to have enough room to add more items.
Battalion!!! Recently came across you channel, great channel!!!
Battalion, great insightful video.
The adaptation to the wire saw is to keep the saw from kinking up and easier to roll. If you don't have that capability, your saw will kink up.
Battalion, good vid, enjoyed the way you gave on spot uses for items. Wouldn't pay their price. Prep On T
I have so much of random little stuff around i could make a couple bags like this one for the wifes car and one for the junk drawer
The traveling junk draw. Awesome 👍
Battalion
I like the bag itself. I'd much rather outfit the gear myself. It may cost more that way, but I can control the quality. In a survival situation, I want to trust the gear.
You could make this with some MUCH better upgrades for less than half the price. That is bananas!
Battalion....well done as always!
Thanks much
Love the channel from a fellow Texan
Battalion, this is one I might pick up for $75 or so . I dont really see it containing enough big or name brand items to get to the price point. If you have to purchase all this stuff in one's and twos maybe it could run up there but I think most people have a lot of this stuff already which would drive the cost way down. I like the case it's in , I like the smaller containers to divy things up. The popsicle stick is for mixing and applying the epoxy almost all two parts epoxies require something like it. Great video the product is well thought out but very pricey. Thanks for showing us.
Popsicle stick can also be used as splint...this would be good to keep in a car, but for real emergencies, NOPE! as many others say, I'd rather make my own taylor made for myself!
Alot of good stuff here but to a point it feels like a junk drawer in a bag. An organized junk drawer I will admit. So ya most of us could make this for cheaper because we do have all these around just not organized.
Battalion. Great kit.
Nice Work, battallion..
Battalion. I like the bag itself, but I have almost everything in there (minus some) but I used a Maxpedition "Beefy" organizer. Just my opinion, that gear is pricey! You can put one together & personally pick what you think you need.
I think it is a great kit. I am a lot older than you and have used almost everything in there at one time or another to fix something. Battalion.
I love to learn more.
Did I miss the tourniquet? I added a NPA with lube to my kit. Very comprehensive. I think the pipe cleaner can be used to somewhat clean a firearm. Barrel etc. Thanks for sharing.
battalion -- thanks for your work on this.
The bag is very similar to the condor rip
away IFAK minus the two detachable netted compartments.
Cork and needle makes a great compass
Start with this then add a sillcock key, fixed blade knife, sig 938, sawyer water filter and food bars.
Good morning. Great video
Just discovered your channel man. Already love the content. I love this kit. Sadly I can’t find it anywhere online. Not even on their website. Seems it’s unavailable or discontinued sadly. I would have loved to put it on me and my waited vehicles. Might try to build one off of your video.
Battalion, i really loved this kit.
Thanks much
It's so jammed full, you'll have to decide on what to take out so you can add your knife and food sources you mention.
Battalion!
I always watch till the end 🙄
Pretty cool kit!
Hey man, I just found your channel and dang! Wish I would've found it sooner. Keep it up!
Thanks brother. I'm going to check you out too
Battalion, I'm new to your channel great video I will be looking to get this kit.I'll just need a just it for Australian conditions. Looking forward to watching more video's.
When I work on cars I use golf tees to plug up the brake line when I have the caliber off and I've used golf piece of plug other things also if you don't have toothpicks to plug up holes in wood we're screws or stripped use golf tees in it and cut it off the Saw
This kit is so perfect for everything the Esee survival kit and the solkoa are the 3 best kits on the market but [* WG BUSHCRAFT SURVIVAL GEAR KIT *] IS amazing but no one talks about it and yet it covers every aspect you'll run into in the woods plus urban very good kit 👏
I have one for my car….love it! Battalion!
Not a bad bit of kit. It costs a bit but wid rather have that on me than nothing like most folk who ain't prepared. Keep up the guid work bud 👍 🏴
In like the first episode of MacGyver he explains he takes his swiss army knife, (which is actually several swiss army style knifes over the years) & a bag & he will gather supplies along the way
Battalion!!...I would like to know where to get those rectangle containers. And on a funny note the container with the screws and tacks, nails reminds me of the kitchen drawer that is a catch all. Lol but I would like to purchase those containers and make my own pack like this. You know to see how much of a MacGyver I am. Your videos are awesome, you keep us in formed of new ways to organize and it teaches new people when they realize they like this kind of stuff. Thank you for all you do, and Keep up the good work.
Thanks for encouragement
Battalion, holy shit bubba that's expensive like it has some cool things in there but I'm not sure over 200 cool some of it makes me think someone took stuff out of the junk drawer and put it in a kit. What all did you supplement out? Thank you for buying this and showing us all. Thanks for your service my man. Have a good one
The popsicle stick is for mixing the adhesive
Hello!
I loved this and also your voice!
Perfeito! A sua organização ficou fantástica!
E a sua voz é a mais bonita entre os produtores deste conteúdo q já vi! Valeu!👍👏👏🫵🙏🥰
🇧🇷
Use the cork as a bobber for fishing or improvising a compass in a cup of water with a needle
Makes total since

Yes! Let's hit 6k subscriber . Love the survival kit vids! Battalion!
Let's get it going
I enjoy your channel.
Thanks much
Battalion. At first i just wanted the bag itself for my edc tool kit but the more i watched i think imma order the kit and just take out what i don't want in my tool kit
Battalion. A lot of stuff in that kit. I immediately thought the cork was useful as a floating device.
The Golf Tees can be used for plugging tubes and other small holes
Also good for filling in stripped screw holes and fire tinder, expedients
Battalion! Great ideas to build my own kit though. I like to know I have put quality items in my kit, these pre-built kits lack quality items in their bags IMHO. Cheers buddy!!!
Cheers and Battalion!
bravissimo...grazie.
Done Sir, subscribed! nice video and very interesting take
What is emergency cloth?
I realy like the bag its self. I like the book that's in it . Has a lot of little useful items but for two hundred dollars I think is a little on the high side for what's in it. Defenitly okay for a supplement add to bag for a more ready bag for a vehicle and or get home bag. However I would change and add some things . For two hundred dollars I cant see myself spending that much for what's there.
BATTALION! Those other kits might be good for contractors, home repairman, etc. for them to keep in their car kits🙂✌🏼🖖🏼
Super interesting kit, it seems like there was a lot of thought put into it while standing in front of a kitchen junk drawer. I like the idea. Good video👍👍
You sir, win the interwebs today. Lol
I have had this for about 1 year. Never went through it. So this was very helpful thank you battalion....
Would I buy one of these kits and supplement, no. But I have done so with first aid kits. So I understand your position. Something I just realized I never see anyone include, and I think it would be the first thing for someone lost or a car down a ravine type situation-a parachute flare.
Taking the mask out is a bad idea.
2 reasons off the top of my grape:
1. Dust/debris should you be in a situation where an event or even a basic high wind on a dry day ( TEXAS ALL DAY ERR DAY).
2. In an emergency evac, breaking out that mask will blend you in more or if you don't want to be seen during an emergency it's not like people ask you if you wear a mask now.
But good vid and keep it up
There's a bandana too that will do both of those jobs better
Battalion.looks like a great kit. With many uses and even uses you didn't think you would need??
Big battalion fan.
Very well done and presentation! I had a chance to speak withm tom today and overall a great guy from our conversation on the phone. I went ahead and purchased the empty bag to fill to my specifications but this is a good well thought out kit. Thanks for taking the time and going through the bag for us. I love making edc and survival kits for fun. Expensive hobby but practical. Im curious what kind of radio gear are you running in your kits?
I definitely want to check out your channel. Shoot me an email info@themarinex.com
