The Pvkv IV was actually designed as a Tank Destroyer vehicle (Pvkv basically stands for Anti Tank canon vehicle) therefore the slow turret rotation, why exactly gaijin put it in the game as a medium is still unclear to me (maybe some source called it a medium, maybe gaijin wanted a filler for the medium line)
I feel the pain. Am playing that tank atm as well. But hey, the lack of turret rotation is compensated by the guns bouncability when trying to stop and aim at anything.
This thing needs to be played 90% APHE and just some APDS in case of heavy cookie, a real beast with APHE but sadly people are calling him bad because they only use APDS...
At 1:45 dollar actually shot at the crusader but when his gunner was knocked out it just dissapeared. War Thunder is a very fun game and completly fair...😂

Regardless thanks Dollar for being one of my fav content creators for WT along some few others! i have a Lineup you could try for a video idea, bring T29 with APHE (APCBC), T34 (american one.), T26E5, T92 and the T95 at 7.0 its pretty fun to play them, its unlikely you'll go into any of the others, since T29 is good on its own. as someone who's been playing the T29 a lot, im sure you'll find it fun :D. just remember to bring a plane of your choice. can be up to 7.0. downtiers in this lineup is amazing, uptiers sometimes too! have a good day or night.
Oh boi, the amounts of swearing I have in that thing is high. The sway when you aim is ridiculous (cannon weights too much), the turret rotation speed is abysmal - you basically have to play this thing as tank destroyer, the armor is non-existent, the reverse speed is meh. The only saving grace this thing has is that Sabot round, but good luck unlocking it and having actual fun with this "tank." I gave up. Especially since, you have Delat Torn at 5.0 which is much better choice anyways...
The Pvkv 4 was the biggest disappointment of 2023 for me. I was looking so much forward to using it, but it pretty much falls short on every single aspect. Crew is cramped together, the sight has no zoom despite being a sniper, it has no armor (though i was not expecting that), the gun performs exactly the same as the stubby Pvkv 3's gun (not including APDS) and turret barely turns despite being classified as a medium tank. I think Gaijin though this would perform around the same as the M10 GMC, but it's just way too different of a vehicle.
Oh yeah that tank is definitely a sniper, but i have had some luck as a brawler. One just have to remember the glacial turret traversing and turn the whole tank.
