    "Only one big city, Manila"
That big city is now a huge city that is home to 12 million people. The urban sprawl emanating from this city is growing farther and farther into what was once rural provinces. The NCR and its urban sprawl dubbed "Mega Manila" has as many as 35 million people.
China's Pearl River Delta is even bigger with a population of around 120 million.
