    These folks are legit, they sing hard with lyrics involving political failings, social issues and back it up with real actions. The sound is pretty cool with a real Indian sound underneath some first class metal riffs and sounds. Great new band from the last couple of years.

    And there's more Indian instruments there.

    Bloodywood just came out with RAKSHAK; their debut album, in my opinion, will be very hard to beat for album of the year. It's full of pure gold bangers. Zanjeero Se, Yaad, and Aaj really show their range. Dana Dan and Gaddar are bone shaking. The rest is just a damn good time.

  • @sequentialscott
    @sequentialscott 2 года назад +29

    Many good ones, but Dana Dan is very heavy - both music and message - and it deserves to be heard. If you do it, please turn on the CC subtitles so you see the translation of the Hindi lyrics. Also, the dancer as Kali is (*ahem*) bloody amazing. :)

    Man, you guys are in for a treat. All the recent stuff is excellent, but do yourself a favor, dig deeper into their RUclips channel, and check out some of their metal covers of pop tunes. It's how they started off when it was just Karan (guitar) and Jayant (vocals.)

    You're correct with this being one of their early videos. These guys are unreal. Check out their newest video, "Dana Dan" and you'll see a HUGE difference in their maturity. This video is great and a lot of fun. Dana Dan is next level unreal. Then after that, you really can't go wrong. "Aaj," "Ari Ari," "Gaddar" then they have some more mellow stuff that's really impressive, "Jee Veery" & "Yaad." It literally gets better from here on out. Amazing band.

    Oh man ... so stoked you came across this band! They are just awesome. Totally self-made and just dropped Debut Album. I really suggest to you to go for other songs too. Highly recommend Gaddaar, that one slaps the most with badass breakdown. Dana Dan, also heavy ... Endurant, these are quite heavy. And then all the other songs, no matter song, you cannot go wrong with them. If you choose Dana Dan, captions on.
    Also, that Morgan Freeman outro ... :D :D :D Hilarious! Thumbs up!

      @@ThunderRooster Didn't mean to sound rude. It's about respecting sentiments and the hard work of the non mainstream musicians here in India. Bollywood is mainstream here, they don't need RUclips to promote themselves, population in india and fm radio is enough. Most of the Bollywood songs don't come close to the technicalities or the social message in this song. Also the non mainstream music listeners in India aren't too big a fan of Bollywood, as per my observation. There's more music in India, for comparison, than just Bollywood . Expand your horizon and do what you want. It's your channel.
