On our way to Uganda to coach football Billy and I had a 13 hour layover in Egypt where we got emotional at the pyramids, rode camels, reviewed pizza, and crushed a zillion beverages. Upon arriving in Uganda, our adventure continued with an 8 hour drive to the Western part of the country for our gorilla trek. Despite some unfortunate car troubles, we both survived our trip around the planet in once piece! Last Chance Uganda premieres February 28th!

@@tobylawrence2425 Egypt is largely and correctly in Africa you are correct. It also has a small part though technically connected to the the Middle East. It's regarded as one of those few countries joined technically to two continents. In Africa it shares its largest borders with Libya and Sudan whilst it's smallest border is in the Middle East with Palestine/Israel. They are 3rd most populated country in Africa and normally compete with Nigeria and South Africa for Africa's biggest/best economies. ❤❤❤. For those that doubt your statement, tell them in January 2024 the Egyptian national football team was knocked out by DR Congo team in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast (Côte d'Ivoire) whilst the AFC Asian Cup was won by Qatar against Jordan which is their Continent's Football Competition with Middle East and Asian countries competing in it which excludes Egypt. Hey Donnie, btw those equator water spin tricks are fugazy. They do the same thing in multiple countries right at the equator. The machines are setup to have the water spin in each direction. A foot or two of difference won’t make the difference in how the water spins but it makes for a cool tourist trap lol

This was so good. I’ve always loved Egypt and watched a ton of videos about it, but none of them have made me realize just how big the pyramids are and how beautiful Giza can be. I now have a new bucket list/life goal of drinking a beer and eating some Pizza Hut while the sun sets behind the pyramids.
Take a Nile cruise down to Luxor! Hear it’s pretty sweet.

@@TheWontonDon I’m in the beginning stages of planning a trip there and from what I’ve read, a cruise down the Nile is definitely a must, and Luxor is a major attraction, so that will definitely be apart of my trip
@@jesseleesamples Cairo can be pretty rough as a tourist. The Don did compare it to Baghdad
@@JonathanH99 yeah I’ve watched some videos from people traveling there and it looks like you have to stay on your toes in some areas but I haven’t seen anything suggesting it’s dangerous at least. I think going in a group with a guide familiar with the area eliminates much of those concerns though

I did that Kampala to Biwindi drive back in 2010 and it was hella dicey. Our driver nearly drove off the cliff so many times. The roads look waaay better now.
