Great review of the kayak. We've been talking about inflatable kayaks or possibly paddleboards so it's good to get this info. The bubble mystery is pretty interesting, you'd think they would have something posted at the lake so people didn't think there was an issue. 😂
We were between the kayak and paddleboards also. We went with the kayak as it is what we felt we would get more use out of. The bubbles were weird and we had all kinds of theories while out on the water lol- end up not being the lock ness monster lol- Joel, Deb & Maya

Also VERY COOL invention they came up with for the lake.....like I told you on IG though, I would have been like nope 🤣🤣🤣 paddle, paddle paddle!!

Hi! Just realized we weren’t connected. I know we’ve watched. We are thinking about kayaks but Ginger doesn’t want to chance flipping. In Japan, we used an ocean kayak on the East China Sea and loved it.

Those are nice. Eau Clair I have heard is really nice. We got really flat bottom kayaks so our old butts could get in and out. LOL
Joel grew up in Eau Claire and it is a beautiful area with lots to do. We weren’t to sure we were going to get our butts in ours, however, the kakay was so steady it was seamless- we think Bill & DeAnna we're disappointed & wanted some good falls into the water 😆- Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya

Winter in Wisconsin is brutal and why we sold our house in Chippewa Falls! We hope to not be in snow and cold again!

I think the bubbles are decaying vegetable matter that is under silt from a bygone era when this wasn't a lake, but a valley with trees an plants.
It was a special Aerators to help with the decaying vegetation. There are like 23 of them in the lake

We looked at the paddleboards but thought we would get more use out I the kayak. We are Amazon affiliates and I added a link yesterday- I will have to double-check to make sure I hit save 😆
The most important part, so far, is how it came out of the bag. To fold it back up, first , fold the bow and stern nose to nose on the middle of the kayak, second, fold the bow and stern toward the middle, short of the points of the bow and stern, Then fold the two halves together, and it's ready to put in the bag.

We are taking our k2 tomorrow out for the first time, and our first time kayaking, i think i went over board, i have the vests , emergency signal, blinge pump, brush gripper, cords . Dry bag .. , upgraded seats .. anchor, , paddle leashes, , paddle grips ..im nervous lol

Great kayak, got mine in August. You can use the pump to suck the air out, make it flat as a pancake.

Just locally, at a lake at a local county park here in central NJ. I also had it on Maidstone lake in northern Vermont - my buddy has a house on the lake. I'm looking forward to more kayaking around the area next year. Thanks for showing how you got into the boat off the dock - I've been wondering about that. Also sent you something via direct message.

My girlfriend and I total over the 400lb weight limit for this boat. Im not trying to be nosey but do you and your wife exceed that limit too? I wonder if this will hold up sturdy with us in it.

@@Daruma_Studio the only issue you might have is enough leg room- but the seats are adjustable- pretty sure we all gained some covid weight- but getting out paddling will help us lose it!

@@guillermoortiz1492 yes, we have seen them- we weren't sure if the price was worth buying for us at this point in the start of our travels- wanted to be reasonable in the cost as didn't know how much we would use a kayak or not.
