The Lunchbox with just a battery swap to lipo isn't particularly good for anything, but it'll always make you laugh. 🤣 It's plenty fast enough to be entertaining.
I love mine and I'm definitely going to put a bigger motor in it at some point.

It's a little disingenuous to say that the Bandit has a new chassis. All they really did was change the color. Again. The only real thing that's changed on it since the original 1995 release is the addition of a sealed radio box and additional mounts to position the ESC on the left side of the chassis rather than the center.
Thing is, Traxxas could have completely reworked the vehicle while still keeping the mounting hole patterns for the various parts, much like what HPI does with the Savage platform. Instead they just make the same car over and over and slap some new paint on it.
It's also becoming a _very_ bad value when you can get into the RTR version of the Serpent SRX-2 for not that much more.
Very happy this year i saw a lot of people recognizing the value for the money of the bandit, traxxas put also cheap good quality stuff on the market for a fair price!

It was a simple, clear and detailed RC car introduction video. It was good information for me to buy various RC cars. thank you Merry Christmas~👍👍👍
I ended up buying the granite boost, ended up selling it too, I found that the motor really easily overheats and I had to keep working on it so I sold it and invested in a used dr8, overall the granite is a nice frame to work with, the high suspension is nice for offroading, once again the motor let's it down and the rwd feature (in my opinion)
They run a little hot, but the concept is good where you can upgrade as you go
@@TomleyRC yeah, it's not a good starter car but us at the same time, for a newbie behind the transmitter and a easily overheatable motor aren't the best mix, also I have a quick question, I tried bending out the pins in a ec5 connector since they were bent in and wasn't connecting to the battery properly and of of them snapped, I ran it with a missing pin and all the other bent out how they should be and it ran fine but do you think it's safe?

Minie EV looks hilariously awesome. My daughters (9yrs and 12yrs) and I have more than a few cars of all types, so when something weird like this pops up (that we can drive inside and irritate my wife) we jump on it.
Got 4 of those, already. And for what I paid, you could probably only get 3 now!! Stuff is getting seriously expensive these days!! 😳

I’ve bashed both mjx and Hbx trucks. The Hbx is pretty damn tough but you can snap the chassis at the skatepark. It took about a 30 foot landing to catch the side of the chassis. The mjx is about the same although the Hbx has better diffs and suspension.
Hbx, a little like HPI? Sounds like a wannabe I can't believe HPI didn't catch it. A ravage? So stupid
HBX Ravage is also my number one choice, the upgrades to get the HBX 16889A to 16889A Ravage (Pro) status costs more than to just buy the Ravage straight out of the box.

Have you tried the Flyhal FC610? Same chassis as the HBX2995 and Bezgar sells one as well. The Flyhal is the best bargain though. Pretty slow out of the box, but brushless ready and crazy durable.
There’s quite a few that are similar abs come under different names.. some decent ones out there for sure

No more cheap R/C cars for me, I wasted my money on a Team Associated 90040C Reflex DB10 Dirt Buggy RTR. Buy nice or buy twice! That is what I believe after thinking this cheap associated buggy was anything like the rc10I had as a teenager.
Heh, I bought the Sand Scorcher (not cheap by any means) twice one year apart, the second one was around £50 more!
Yeah, they used to be mid £200… now they are over £300!

Cool list. I am going to second the MiniEV. It's a heap of fun. Granted I runit in front of my year and a half old nephew, who chases it and picks it up and has a good laugh. That puts a smile on my dial.

No offense but i fast forward through ads like that I’m sure you put a lot of effort into making it and everything but I will always fast forward through ads like that. Only like 1% of ads I’ve watched have ever made me be like hmmm maybe I should buy that because I genuinely need or want that mobile games are in the 99%😂 Again don’t take this the wrong way I’ll keep watching just happy that fast forward button exists 😂

@@andygrant5275 you certainly don't have to spend that much but there are tons of great upgrades you'll probably want. I would however recommend having the money on hand to replace the ESC, receiver and steering servo when you order it. The steering servo tends to be a bit weak and it's fairly common for the 2 in 1 ESC to not function properly. When I got mine it only drove in reverse.

I know it's not a car but the new 1/20 double e volvo A40G haul truck is an excellent budget dumb truck i paid £148 direct from double e and the Mercedes-Benz dump truck I got last Christmas was £115 from aliexpress and double e still honner the warranty and customer service on problems and parts even if u did not directly buy from them even help with an excavator also got from aliexpress but the Mercedes-Benz is also very good truck is way better than the huina 1573/1582 and the copies the merc has more features and a metal dumb bed and tail gate and actuator dumb ram similar to the A40G but longer but the A40G is a excellent budget beast not much can stop it, it wil climb up and over the metal bar of a baby gate and the step from my door to the hall way or dining room i forget the size but it's a few inches powers straight up and over mu only gripe is nor rear lights and the sound turns of when steering but the sound is very good even have to hold down the power button on the radio the turn on and smhas a real engine turn over sound very good 👍 😀

That is the first time I've ever seen an ad introduced that way and I approve of this. It was fun. It was... mind meltingly weird. These are things I consider hallmarks of good advertising. I won't forget the time that one guy told me about the game with the absolutely insane ad featuring a little animated dude who annoyed him. Spiffy. Also, I love cheap RC cars... I have a habit of bashing them to their limits and then moving to the next car (meaning I have quite the collection of "need to fix")

Love the movie, a great list of cheap trucks, my Wife, Daughter and I are just getting into RC. She bought me a HSP Wolverine Pro, it was fast but the construction is too weak for the power and it virtually rips its self apart... I only had it 3 weeks and I sent it back to the dealer in pieces and demanded my money back.
So I'm saving for an Arrma Kraton 4S BLX but in the mean time we're looking for cheap reliable Trucks to Bash with.

The MJX 16x was actually a Hosim branded truck that they sell on Amazon. Are the Hosim trucks with the "Hyper Go" bodies the same thing as the MJX Hyper Gos?
